Jade and Alec were sitting at the kitchen table discussing what party they wanted to have for their 22nd birthday.

"It's only one week until it's our 22nd birthday." Alec said

"I know and now that we're both I feel like this year should be special." Jade said

"Yes, us three Salvatores and we're ready to party. Woo woo woo, party!" Vanessa begins to do a little dance, "I said now party!"

"Don't turn around. You don't want to know what mom's doing behind our backs." Alec said

"I don't need to. I can feel the desperation on the back of my neck." Jade said

"All right, fine. Guess I'll just save my moves for the par-tay!" Vanessa said

"Back that party up over here, Nessi Bear." Damon said "Here we go. Left left left, to the right right right."and the two began to dance together making the twins cringe in embarrassment.

"Anyway, so for our party, I had a few thoughts." Jade said and she pulls out a thick book and it thuds on the table

"I had A thought." Alec said and he takes a piece of paper from his pocket and puts it on the table

"Ahem, okay, so I'm thinking red carpet, and designer outfits, I can already see the headlines: "Newly single twins ready to mingle"

"Or we could just, I'm thinking peanut shells on the floor, steaks the size of our heads, we enter hungry-man style in our casual eating pants. There's this new Cowboy-jail-themed restaurant, The Hoosegow!" Alec said

"Okay, so we have very different styles of epic. Come on Alec this is our 22nd birthday, we need something that's a little more... wow!" Jade said

"You know what's epic? Mini-golf birthday parties! They worked for years for you two." Damon said, "Ages six to 11, done!"

Alec, you loved it because it was sporty. And, Jade, there was a Castle, so you could dress up like a Princess. And I loved it because you two were together celebrating your birthday." Vanessa said

"So, everyone, let's get ready to Par-tay!" Vanessa and Damon begin to dance again, "Woo woo woo, party! I said now party!"

"Mom!" Alec yelled

"Stop." Jade said

"Haters." Vanessa said and she walks back over to her husband

"As fun as mini-golf was, we are turning 22 now, so we can plan our own party. So let's just talk this out because nothing's been set in stone." Jade said

Ashley then walks inside the house and she looks roughed up, "Jade, I picked up the silks for your epic party entrance." Ashley said carrying the silks, "Epically bad decision to bring them home on my bike."

"The silks have already been ordered? You've already planned our entire party, haven't you?" Alec yelled

"Well, it's not like I could leave it up to you! I mean, casual eating pants?!" Jade yelled

"Spiraling in on silks?!" Alec yelled

"You're being impossible!" Jade yelled

"Ugh, I wish we could just have separate birthdays!" Alec yelled

"Ugh!"

"Ugh!"

The twins got up from the table and walked away angry, going in separate directions. As Jade walked towards the living room she moved the silk out of the way but when she did Ashley's bike came crashing through the door, and Ashley fell onto the stairs.

"A little help?" Ashley asked

Damon leans to Vanessa and says, "Well it could've been worse than what they did on their 18th."

"I know. I still can't get that image out of my head." Vanessa said and the two shook it off in disgust.

Later, everyone was called into the living room and the twins had both of their eyes covered.

"My twins can't have separate parties on their sweet 22nd birthday. So while you two were at Sheila's basketball game I came up with a "mompromise". So take a look." Vanessa said excitedly

The twins removed their hands out of their eyes and were shocked at what they saw.

"Yes!" Jade yelled

"Awesome!" Alec yelled

"Hold on, you haven't seen the best part. Turn around." Vanessa said

The twins turned around but then they looked away from each other, still angry at one another.

"Two themes, one party." Vanessa said

"It's a red carpet rodeo!" Damon yelled into the microphone but then it started making noises, "Hey, why isn't this thing working?" He said and turns around to fix it

"So, Alec honey, you wanted to go to The Hoosegow. So we're gonna have a Western barbecue right here in the house." Vanessa said

Alec gets excited.

"Lucas. Max." Vanessa said

"Aunt Vanessa, we don't want to say it." Max said

"Oh come on say it." Vanessa said

"Yee haw." the two said weakly

"And Jade, you wanted a red carpet gala. I give you Daisy and Ethan-azzi" mom said

"Jade Salvatore, Jade Salvatore who are you wearing" Daisy asked impersonating paparazzi

"Boom Boom Boom Send" she said as she posed and Ethan took pictures

"This is great mom. And I think We're halfway there. The half that doesn't look like a barn." Jade said as Alec looked offended

"So I think we should clear out these hay bales and, uh, ooh, all the barbecuey stuff. And I just really want to, you know, class this place up, you know? I think we're gonna bring in some French Contortionists" Jade said

"Jade, why are you throwing out everything that I like? I thought this was our party" Alec told her

Damon then walks up to Vanessa and says, "Honey, it's time to come clean. We've kept the secret for too long." He said

"No, Damon! I'm not telling them They were born on separate days." Vanessa said this through the microphone

Everyone looks at Vanessa and Damon in shock

"Camptown ladies sing that song, doo-dah doo-dah." Vanessa sang

"What did you just say?" Jade asked

"We have different birthdays?" Alec said

"Alec, Jade, your Mother and I have something to tell you." Damon said and then he gestures to Vanessa, "Go ahead." Damon told her

"Jade and Alec, the day you were born was truly the greatest day of my life" Vanessa told them as the other kids looked offended

"Well, that feels nice" Aiden said sarcastically

"But it was actually the "days" you were born. You see, Jade, you were born on the fifth at 11:56 P. M. But, Alec honey, you were born At 12:02 on the Sixth" Vanessa said to them

"Wait, so Alec's never celebrated on his actual birthday?" Jade asked and then she folded her arms, "What else are you hiding from us mom?"

The room gets silent.

Hayley decides to break the silence and speaks up, "If you want to at least be a good mother, then I suggest you tell your son and daughter who their real father is."

"Shut up, Hayley!" Kol growled

"Mom, what is she talking about?" Alec asked

"Is Damon not our father?" Jade asked

The twins look back and forth between Klaus and Vanessa and then realized:

Klaus was their father!

"Mom, please tell us that Hayley is lying! Please tell us that Klaus is not our father." Jade cried

Vanessa, now in tears, walks up to the twins, puts her hand on their cheeks and says, "I'm so sorry, I never wanted you guys to find out this way." She cried

"Oh my god, it's true." Alec cried

The twins backed away from their mother and ran away, "Alec! Jade! Wait!" Vanessa yelled, running after them but they slammed the door.

Feeling defeated, Vanessa comes down the stairs in tears.

"Well this has been the best day ever." Hayley said smiling

In rage Vanessa immediately goes to attack Hayley but she is grabbed by Damon, "Get off of me! NO!" Vanessa yelled struggling against her husband

"Honey, honey, no! Witnesses! Witnesses!" Damon yelled holding her back

"Klaus you have five seconds to get this bitch out of my house!!" Vanessa growled

"Excuse me, but I have a right to be here." Hayley said 

Vanessa screams in rage and this time Kol and Rebekah help Damon hold her back, "Klaus get her out of here now!" Rebekah yelled

Klaus grabs Hayley's arm and Hayley looks back at him, "Hey get off of me! I'll leave when I want to" Hayley said

"No mom she's right, you need to get out!" Hope yelled

"Our daughter is right, you've done enough damage here." Klaus said and begins to drag her out
