"Hey!" Zade yells as we're both let go "What are you doing,"

"As far as I'm concerned, you're both under aged to be in that room," Heath says

"What?" Zade hisses "But Vlad is sixteen!" 

"And you're not, As far as I'm concerned, you're both minors,"

"Yes, dad," I butt in, sarcastically.

"Huh, you're right. I am old enough to be your father in the human world. So listen and don't question me," Heath says slyly.

"I'm half-vampire, not helpless," Zade murmurs.

Heath suddenly has him pinned against the wall. The place gets hot and flames start rising out of the ground.

His hair turns bright red, rising because of the increasing heat.

"Don't you ever, not on your life, say that again. Just because you're a half- breed does not mean that I consider you weak or beneath me. I'm trying  to help ad protect you. It's not exactly the world's best idea to leave you in a room with an angry Damien, Vlad and Linus. You of all people should know that! Have I ever scorned you or treated you unfairly?"

Zade shook his head.

The landing is burning down. I step backwards.

"I'm not racist, Zade," Heath continues "I know what life's like in society but you can't assume that everyone is like that," 

"Most people are. Still do. Holding on to the old ways," Zade says "So you can't blame me,"

Heath releases him and goes silent.

Zade's face contorts and suddenly starts laughing and Heath joins in.

 Old people really? How did they just manage to turn such an honest, serious conversation into a light- hearted atmosphere?

The flames and Heath's hair die down "Okay, you got me," he says "It's true," 

"Mm- hm," Zade says.

"Okay, when you both turn sixteen, I'll let you have all the gory, sadistic fun your corrupted dark little hearts desire, okay?"

"Deal," Zade and I say.

Heath turns and leaves. 

"Where are you going?" I call out. 

"To stop some angry kids from brutally murdering a guy. Stay together, Bye!" 

He disappears.

Zade picks me up.

"Where are we going?" I ask this time. 

"To bed. It's late. Plus, there's nothing to do,"

" 'kay," I reply as he carries me to our room.

Yes our room. Did anyone actually think I  would sleep in Lorn's house alone?

And there's also the Darius issue.

He drops me and I scurry to my bed on the other side of the room.

"Dear one, where are you!" Pacifica says "The game's not over,"

I pant as my chest heaves exhausted. 

Let me tell you what happened :

Big mistake #1- Letting the Sirens catch me.

Big mistake #2- Not realizing that Linus and the Sirens are working together

Big mistake #3- Zade and I getting cornered because we let our guard down.

Big mistake #4- Getting separated

And well, here we are.

I look like a flipping doll!!

I'm in some short pink maid fluffy dress.

Ugh! So girly. I feel like maid Barbie. 

They were trying different outfits on me.

I held my dignity throughout the torture, but when Iliana said makeup.....

I ran like hell.

Why would you want to put makeup on all this natural cuteness? Why! 

"They were right. This is fun," Linus whispers suddenly in my ear. 

The next thing I know is I'm kicked backwards. 

I manage to flip unto my feet.

Linus has a struggling Zade by his throat.

He manages to knock Linus off his feet.

And we take off.

"Okay, who are you and what have you done with my tomboy of a sister?" Zade blinks in disbelief.

"I'm not a tomboy!" I scream "It's the Sirens, they put me in this monkey suit,"

"Peek a boo," one says, appearing in front of us.

"Speak of a witch," Zade says. 

"So didn't see that coming," I murmur, as they surround us on all four sides.

"Hi. little toy. Revenge is sweet, isn't it? Speaking of which, what do you want to do first? Eat?" she holds up a slice of cake.

"Makeup?" Iliana holds up a kit.

"Or a new outfit?" Pacifica says holding up something only the condemned should wear.

"Revenge is lovely. What do you want done first? Electro- shock therapy or should I dissect you now experiment?" Linus says. 

Zade screams and backs away.

I drop to my knees and break down crying. 

Pacifica cradles me "What's wrong dear one?"

"It won't stop will it?" I sniffle.

"Of course, it will!" 

"Really?" I ask.

"When you've suffered more, why not?"

I pull away from the witch as the ceiling crashes in.

Vlad lands on his feet. He looks around.

"Okay who are you and what did you do with my siblings?"

"What the hell are you, talking about?" 

"For one, you two look full of despair and you never give up easy and two, V, what the hell are you wearing! Where's my tomboy sister?"

"I'm not a tomboy," I scream "You try dealing with Linus and the the Sirens!"

"L-what? Linus!" Vlad screams.

Linus waves "Hi,"

"As if I don't have enough problems," VJ growls.

Damien and Heath jump down through the hole and tackle Vlad.

Zade appears next to me "Let's go,"

"No you won't," Linus says as something sticky wraps around me and Zade tying us together.

We both struggle.

"Pin him down," Iliana says to Damien and Heath.

"No, what're you doing!" I scream.

They obey Iliana. Juniour  is pinned face down. He can't beat both of them.

Why were they listening? The boys I know never take orders from anyone!

Then it hits me "You hypnotised them with your powers?" I say.

"Duh," Ariel replies "They wanted to spoil our fun," 

Linus walks over to Juniour as he struggles and uncaps a syringe. 

"This won't hurt- much," and he stabs it down into Vlad's shoulder.

Juniour doesn't flinch but soon his head drops down- unconscious.

Linus appears next to Zade and I feel Zade slump too.

Finally, he's infront of me!

I shake my head. No!

He has another needle and smirks.

Something pricks my arm and everything goes dark.

Didn't see that coming.

A/N  ok so s i promised a double update. sorry i've been absent a while. I reread and realized i left you guys at a cliff hanger. Updates in the next two weeks because exams start tomorrow.......and I haven't studied yet. 1000 words!
