"Let me go!" I scream.

Zade and Ral stand panting in the doorway of the room.

"I'm going to.......die," Ral gasps, dropping to his knees.

I smirk, before struggling against my restraints.

Currently, I am strapped down to a bed. 

The whole day, I have been trying to escape and the vampires have been trying to stop me.

They were exhausted by now but I still had energy to burn. 

Traps, explosives, knives, there wasn't anything I didn't do to them. 

Zade had almost died three times, explosives and many others.

So the best solution, they could come up with was to capture and restrain me.

I sure gave them a run for their money though. Hee hee! 

"It's not funny!" Vlad says collapsing near a wall. 

"If you think you're suffering now, you ain't see nothing yet,"I say threateningly.

"Really? I'm pretty sure you can't do anything  now," Ral snickers.

I raise an eyebrow "Are you sure?"

Suddenly, the whole room shakes as an explosion rocks it.

And another. 

"Man down, man down!" Damien screams.

"What the-" Zade starts.

They all disappear one by one. 

Suckers, I think to myself. 

I need to escape before- 

"Hi, dear one," a Siren says popping up. 

I nearly scream before a ball gag is pushed into my mouth. 

"Nice distraction," another says.

"So they gift- wrapped our little toy  our little toy for us? Well that sure made life easier than finding and hunting you down,"

"Mmm-hmph!" I gurgle as the gag is fastened behind my head.  

My struggling becomes more frantic.

"Ready to play, Mira?"

Leave me alone. 

My stomach rumbles.  

"Are you hungry?" 

Noo! Stupid! My own body betrayed me.

I'm unstrapped from the bed.

Ariel carries me underneath one of her arms.

I squirm and struggle against her and mange to loosen the gag a bit.

"Gyak, ugh!" I slur as I manage to get it out "Female, let me go!" I yell. 

She jumps off the banister floating in the air. She holds me out by my waist "Are you sure?"

"Damn you, Siren," I growl.

"What?" she says innocently "You said to let go of you,"

I glare at her.

"So will you eat this time?" Iliana says, popping up behind me.

"No," 

"Do we have to force you again?" she continues.

I froze and paled. My nightmares return in my mind.

"Or should I drop our little toy?" 

Ariel pipes up "Home Ec time!" 

I'm being held, levitating two- no three stories above the ground.

I am going to die if I fall from this height. And not to mention the fact that I'm frozen with shock.

My life sucks.

 "Isn't that what I.S did to you?" a voice-Zade pipes up in my mind.

"Don't mention it, please, oh and HELP ME!" I reply back through our telepathic sibling link.

"Nope, you deserve it for almost blowing me up- three times," Zade growls.

"Biopolar son of a-" my reply gets cut off by Zade's scream. 

Again, he sounds like a girl.

I smirk. I'm not gonna let him live this down. 

Linus tackles him, fangs elongated and eyes red "I wasn't  finished with you yet. Now before Mira's shenanigans so rudely interrupted,"

He starts to drag Zade away, while I struggle  to escape the Sirens. 

"Linus, let me go!" Zade yells, as he practically holds him underneath one of his arms.

"When we get to my lab, sure," he replies.

Linus must have a lab in every Rin building worldwide . Our house, Lorn's house, the Siren's house,  the skyscraper.....the list goes on.  

"Hell no!" Zade squirms "Wait, where's Juniour?" 

"Your brother's currently unavailable," is the quiet reply.

"What did you do, ya' mad scientist!" Zade screams.

No reply.

"Fine then," Zade yells "MIRA!" 

I cover my ears as they start to ring and my pendant glows softly.

"Isn't that usually the other way around?" Pacifica says popping up, as the Sirens look at Zade. 

Ok, there's a short distance between me and the banister, if I jump from here, I'll fall. I need a stepping stone.

Hhmm, Siren No.3 should do the trick and Zade and Linus are perfect distractions.

So.......here goes nothing.

Ariel isn't paying much attention to me.

I squirm away and launch myself at Iliana.

Taken by surprise she moves back a little bit towards the banister. 

Shorter distance, yay!

"Mira! What the- get off," Iliana says as the gap between me and the railing.

"K," I smile, I kick her in the stomach, jumping towards the railing. Hah, eat it sea witch.

I grab onto solid wood, my body swinging back and forth. Using the momentum. I swing up up onto the landing.

Linus has Zade pinned under him. His hand clamped down on his mouth.

He's trying to get him to swallow something.

"Swallow," Linus growls, his hands wrapping around Zade's throat. 

Zade sputters before coughing up a yellow liquid with a round pink pill. 

"No!" he yells "Never anything you give to me,"

"I asked you if you wanted to do this the easy way, which is going to sleep willingly but you refused," Linus glares at him, trying to get him to drink something in a vial "Open your mouth!"

"NO!" Zade yells, struggling before Linus starts strangling him.

"Swallow!"

"No!"

"This would be a hell lot easier if you took it willingly!"

"This would be easier if you jumped off a cliff!"

"Why you little-" a Siren growls at me.

No time to waste.

Linus froze and I kicked him to the side of Zade.

"Sorry," I murmur.

"Took you long enough!" Zade says.

Linus stands up "What did you do?" 

"W-why can he still move?" Zade stutters.  

"I didn't attack all of his weak points," I explain dodging another Siren.

"Then do it!"

"Nope," I say popping the 'p' as I flip over a Siren.

"What?!" Zade coughs dodging an angry Linus. 

"Admit it- that you scream like a girl,"

Hah! Told you I wasn't going to let him live it down.

"Wait, hold up," Zade appears next to me. 

"What?" 

"Say it," I command "That you scream like a girl,"

Zade looks confused.

"Do you want Linus unconscious or not?"

"Ok, I scream like a girl?" Zade says.

Why does that sound like a question! 

"Eh, but it's Zade I'm talking to here, so I'll accept it," I say thinking out loud, distracted as Linus grabs me.

He holds me by my waist, my feet weren't touching the ground. 

Damn height genes!

"Why did you betray me, little girl?" Linus says.

"I'm not betraying you!" I say, "I'm just acting like a typical Rin. No hard feelings?"

"You're extremely light," Linus observes wrapped in his own thoughts "You need to eat more. You do know I'm going  to punish you?" 

Linus p-punish me?

Okay, now, I  should be the one screaming and crying. This is really going to come back and bite me in the future.

"Sorry about this, really I am," I say.

Before he can respond, my fingers jab into either side of his neck.

He drops me and I watch as he faints and crumples to the ground  .

When he wakes up, I'm going to get it. I sigh and turn "Zade you'd better have your end-"

Three unconscious Sirens and a Zade with a short staff in one hand and a ripped shirts sleeve is the only damage I can see on him.

He smirks "You were saying?" 

"Linus is gonna kill me! No he'll never trust me again and he'll probably torture me- oh we have fifteen minutes before they wake up," I say and stop my pacing and pause my rant before putting my hands on my head and resuming " ..........or he'll place me in the same room as Icarus and she'll beat me and feed on me. I'm dead either way! WHY!"

"Wait what! Hold up," Zade stops me. "What did you just say?"

"I started describing what  the Scientist will do to me before I paused," I say.

"What did you say before the pause?" 

"We have 15-14 minutes, to be precise before those four wake up,"

"Then let's move already!" He holds my hand pulling me along.

"B-b-but, I have thirteen minutes to live and you want me to waste it running!" I say bewildered.

"Thirteen minutes, shit!" Zade murmurs "Let's fly!"

"Why?" I say as he picks me up, floating .

"Because I don't want to loose my eye,"

"Can I stop and cry?"

"Nope, we find Juniour, so we won't die!"

"How? You better know how and not lie!" I say.

"Fine, fine," he says flying around a corner "Don't bawl and cry,"

We both laugh at our rhyming game. I won though.

Then it hits me. Why an I; Mira Rin, looking around Lord's house?
Wow I keep getting crazier everyday.

"We could go faster if we split up," I say, giving in.

Zade stops and almost drops me. "Are you nuts? If Linus finds me- I mean us- that equals death,"

"So? I have the Sirens to deal with and there's three of them. We are going to risk our necks for Vlad," I say "Hasn't he always done that for us, time after time?"

"But, I don't wanna die!" Zade wails.

"Zade," I say, using my stern 'Don't mess with me's calm voice.

"Fine," he grumbles and mutters stuff incoherently "But keep the mind link open, if you block me out for even a milli second, little girl, I will-"

"Okay! I get it," I say "You go left, I go right,"

We both nod and take off in our separate directions.

I start running, opening doors as I went along.

No, I think, opening and slamming doors as I go along.

No!

No!

No!

U have less than ten seconds left.

Six. No!

Five. I stop and gasp.

Pacifica stands at the end of the hallway.

I open a door.

"Dear one, dont-" I hear nothing more as I dash in and close the door behind me.
