"Where am I?" I think to myself as I turn in a full circle.

I know that I'm somewhere in the woods. The time is indefinite, but I know that it's either really late at night or really early morning.

"What is your problem Annie? You've been through stuff like this before. Don't be a coward." I say out loud to myself since I'm alone and there is nobody here to hear me, or so I thought.

As I go deeper into the forest, I begin to have the odd sensation that someone is watching me. Like someone is following me.

I think about going back the way I came.

"Go back to what, though? You can't go home. They wouldn't let you in." I remind myself.

It's true. I'm not exactly welcome at my real house. I've been on my own since I was about 15. That's 7 years.

I turn around in an attempt to find somewhere safe to hide out and stay the night.

*Crack* Now I know that I'm not alone. It sounded like someone had stepped on a stick and broken it.

I start to run, but I can hear them right behind me.

As I'm running, I trip on a tree root. I begin to fall, but they catch me just before I hit the ground.

I look up to see his blood red eyes. Then he smiles.

"Crap. Now I'm dead for sure." I think as I realize that he isn't human.

"Hi Angel." He says.

Then everything goes black as I slip into unconsciousness.
