"April Dawn Hunter, age 14, vampire." He reads my file, "died in a house fire in 2009, was an accident-"

"An accident?" I cut him off then smile annoyed at them trying to cover that up, "that wasn't an accident." I say then start to try and get out of the cuffs around my wrists and ankles.

"Don't try to escape, you won't make it past the door." He says looking at the other league members on the other side of the glass, probably with that team they won't shut up about.

I smile tugging at the cuffs, "wanna bet?" I ask and he puts a piece of paper on the table with a pen.

"We want to give you a life, that you deserve, you'll be happy-"

"I hate the sun, have the constant urge to rip out your throat, I'm hungry, have no home, constantly on the run from some stupid hunter who killed my entire family and I was drugged then shipped to the USA where you expect me to sign my life over to you? Yeah good luck." I say then continue to try get out the chair.

"You can have a happy life if you sign this." He says, "we're trying to  protect you-"

"Fine I'll sign the stupid contract, just give me something to drink!" I yell not able to fight the urge for blood anymore.

He unlocks me and I sign the piece of paper then take the bottle of blood from him and lean against the wall and sit on the floor enjoying every drop of blood.

"The team are-"

"On the other side of the glass with their mentors, I know, I can hear them, they're terrified." I smile then stand up downing the last of the bottle before throwing it into the trash perfectly.

I'm led to a room with a sofa and I lie down. The team walk in and look at me unsure, "she won't bite, she's a pureblood and is in control." Batman says before leaving.

"So Anna, you don't have any belongings, maybe us girls could go shopping?" M'gann says. Batman told me they're names except from Robin, who has a completely secret ID.

"Sure." I say putting my arm over my eyes blocking out the sun.

"Is the light bothering you? We could close the curtains if you wish." Kaldur offers and I shake my head.

"I'm fine, I'm going to my room anyways because I need to sleep, last night was busy being kidnapped, interrogated and all..." I say walking past the team who are looking at me sympathetic and guilty, they were the ones who pinned me down and vervained me.
