Yuuki's POV

The nights after were of silence. Cavalry had stopped visiting since. In the news, a drunk man was found with vampire bites on his neck. It was on the same night I last saw Cavalry. Was it his doing? He did look pale and famished. The night was brisk as I stood outside on the balcony.

"Yuuki? Is something the matter?"

I look behind me. Nori was standing there in some light armor. "Oh hey Nori. It's nothing really" I lie. She takes of her gauntlets and places her hands on my shoulders.

"We've been friends for almost forever. I know when a friend is hiding something"

"It's nothing. Just been bored is all"

"Yuuki" Nori says sternly.

"Okay, okay. I met a boy almost two weeks ago. We meet here every night and just talk"

"To talk?"

"Yeah. I felt we had a bond together, a sort of connection. I kinda..fell for him"

"So your fell in love with this boy. Did he love you back?"

"Yeah. He always called me Lady Lilac cause I smelled like it. Then a few nights ago, I tried to get him to kiss me"

"Ooh! Making the move already. So did it work out as planned?"

"Not exactly, he kinda..wasn't ready and ran off. He hasn't visited since"

"Ouch"

"Oh what am I going to do? I want to apologize to him but I don't even know where he lives"

"Pardon me." Silica peeks into the room. "I couldn't help but overhear"

"Oh hey, Silica" Nori greets. "Yeah Yuuki's having some boy problems"

"I heard. This is a dumb idea but, maybe you can write a letter to him?"

"Huh? What do you mean?" I ask Silica.

"Well, maybe he isn't away. Maybe he doesn't want to be seen"

"So what will writing letter help with?" Nori asks.

"Well maybe if you leave a letter on the balcony tonight, he will pick it up and read it. Like a long distance relationship"

"Silica that is a great idea!" Nori exclaims.

"R-really?" I hug Silica in happiness.

"Yes! It's so clever even I would never though of that"

"Aw. I just do what I can"

"Now you guys get out. I want to write in privacy" I say pushing them out.

"Hey, I could help out you know" Nori suggests. "I know a few things that can make them click"

"Nope" I say with a giggle. "I can handle it myself." I push the two out of the room and lock it. I quickly make my way to my writing desk and pulled out a sheet of paper to begin writing. "Now where to begin..."

Night Siune's POV

Cavalry had locked himself in his room for almost a week now. He did accept some blood to drink from time to time, so at least he wasn't starving himself. It still bothered me that he was trapping himself in his room. He should be out and about.

"Ah Klein can you do me a favor?" I ask stopping him. He was just about to leave for the night.

"Yeah what's up Siune? Need something?"

"Yes. Can you visit the mansion for me?"

"The mansion? The one Cavalry usually visits?"

"Yes. I think Cavalry might have dropped something there. Can you bring it back for him?"

"He's still in the dump isn't he?"

"Yes. So I need you to get it for him"

"Kay, I'll see what I can do"

"Thank you." Klein transforms into a bat and flies off into the night. "Cavalry if I'm right, then there should be something to pick you back up. Something from the heart you love."

Klein POV

fly off into the night. Siune had asked me to check out the mansion, so I was headed there first.

"So this is the mansion huh." I fly down to the inner walls when I was blasted with a pungent smell. "Gah! Garlic? Eww! Jeez, did Cavalry last here?" I dove down and changed back to human form. I luckily landed in a flower patch so the smell was lessened. I sniff the scent. "Lilacs. This must have been what attracted Cavalry." A door suddenly opens. I hide in the shadows as a lavender dressed girl walks onto the balcony above.

"Letter of my heart, find the injured soul. Let my words of love, be the ointment for his wounds. Don't let him suffer, the actions I had made him deny. The fault is upon me, let him be healed." 

She kisses the wax seal on the envelope and lays it on the railing. She quickly leaves the balcony making no noise. When I was sure she had left, I jump to the railing and check out the letter.

"To the spice scented vampire..."

"Spice scented?" I ask myself. "Is she talking about Cavalry? Guess he has a secret admirer. I better give this to him after I eat." I leave the mansion to find my victim. A fair lady leaving her home for midnight shopping. The people of the village all have strange chores and habits. Afterwards I quickly head fly back to the mansion.

Siune's POV

"Cavalry? Come on now, you need to eat something." I knock on his door. No response. I take a seat with my back to the door. "Cavalry, I know times like this will be hard but you shouldn't be hurting yourself like this..."

I'm..sorry" I hear Cavalry's voice from the other side.

"It's not your fault. Don't you say 'Fate plays it's games in strange ways?' or something like that?" No response. "I'm going to make some tea for you, the door better be open when I return." I head downstairs to find Klein had returned.

"Siune I didn't find Cavalry's scarf but, I do believe he has a secret admirer of a sort." Klein hands me a wax sealed envelope. It smelled heavily of lilacs, something Cavalry mentioned a few times.

"Oh perfect Klein!" I says hugging him.

"W-wow. Really?"

"Yes! We can get our Cavalry back with this"

"That's great to hear. We can finally get him out of that funk." I give Klein a quick kiss on the cheek before heading to the kitchen. This was perfect. A letter from his lady would perk him up. Alongside some White Tea and the setting would be set. I put the teapot onto a tray alongside the letter and head to his room. I passed by Klein who was still in a daze. I couldn't help but giggle a little. I knock on Cavalry's door. No response but it was unlocked. I walk into his room and place the tray onto his table.

"Cavalry?" I look around him and find him on his balcony. He was looking out to the village. "Cavalry?"

"Oh Siune, I didn't hear you come in"

"What are you doing now?"

"Oh nothing. Just enjoying the night I guess." I stand beside him on the balcony. "The moon saw the sin, though it laughs at my foolishness now"

"What do you mean by that?"

"Oh how I shall not say." I jostle him. "Come on, you can tell me. My lips are sealed." He shakes his head with a smile. "Fine,fine. Keep your poetic love for now. I'll find out somehow." I give Cavalry a quick hug before heading to the door. "Oh and one more thing.."

"Hm?"

"Klein says you have a secret admirer. She dropped you a letter, though I believe it's from that flower lady of yours" I say with a giggle.
