Sam grew up on the outskirts of NYC in a rural area, his family was very wealthy, and owned a huge house, close by his best friend Gemma, on her 14th  birthday he asked her to be his girlfriend , she accepted, they are still dating(now engaded) when Gemma was 17 she was kicked out of her house and came to live with Sam, they moved out of the house when they turned 21, when they got engaged , Sam was the happiest person in the world
