Ethen's pov

" mate " i pushed him away more but he didn't move. he licked my neck and i wanted to call for help but my body wouldn't let me. fangs grazed my neck and i couldn't move, tears pricked my eyes, as fangs pierced my skin.

i felt a warmth flow through my spin and a dizziness in my head. my head lolled to the side and i was pressed more against the vampire. my eyes closed and the pain went away.

3rd pov

" what are we going to do with you guys?" racing cat asked as the hunters were sitting on the couch. Ethen is there leader and he wasn't with them, they didn't have weapons so they could be in a lot of trouble.

" we could keep them here with us, they already know where we live. " Michael said, making the hunters worry. " or we could have a bit of fun and have a little chase. " Richard said as his eyes glowed.

the hunters looked away from him and backed more into the couch. " do you guys want a chance to live and leave?" Richard asked as they stayed quiet. " not without our leader." the hunter named Cole said coldly.

" oh that's no fun. your leader wont be able to go with you guys." Richard said with a sadistic tone. " w-why not?" Fred asked with a bit of fear hiding behind his voice.

" because he is with our leader, aka his mate." Richard informed, the hunters shifted and tried to get up. they got pushed back down by Richard.

" so do you guys want a chance to leave or do you want to stay?" Richard asked again and the hunters looked at each other. they nodded and ran for the door.

they got out the door and Richard, chase, and racing cat waited for them to get kind of far. the hunters reached the forest as they tried to look for the nearest group of hunters. they started to hear faint steps behind them as they ran.

Fred looked back as saw the three vampires coming after them. Fred looked forward and tripped over a root. " Cole! " Fred yelled before he was pulled up into a tree. Cole continued to run. Cole started to hear talking ahead of him and he ran faster. he saw the group but the group didn't see him.

Cole got grabbed and pulled back as Richard held him to the ground. " I'm going to give you a choice, join or die. " " i would rather die then be a vampire." Richard smiled. " your choice." before Cole could say anything, Richard turned Cole's head and bit roughly into his neck.

Cole attempted to scream but Richard covered his mouth. before Cole passed out from blood loss he heard a loud gunshot.
