Marcel's pov

me and cartoonz were sleeping in our room. snuggling. the other vampires left to go do their own thing and to take care of the hunter-vampire that was in their group. it was all quiet around the house, everyone was sleeping or resting for the next day.

all was peaceful until there was a slight click from down stairs. it sounded like the door, it could be
one of my friends so i didn't think much about it. i closed my eyes and just laid in the bed, the door clicked signing that someone was coming into our room.

cartoonz didn't move and i don't even think he knew they were coming into our room. i opened my eyes and saw a man with black hair and blue eyes. i went to wake up Luke, until a hand was placed over my mouth and a steak over my heart.

my breathing picked up and i closed my eyes, wishing that this wouldn't happen. the guy pushed the steak against my chest and i looked at him. he moved his hand from my mouth and grabbed my hair.

i whimpered slightly from it and he pulled me over to the door. i looked back at cartoonz and he was either still asleep or pretending to sleep. the hand was pulled back over my mouth and the steak was pressed against my chest again.

the guy pulled me over to the stairs and walked down, when we got to the bottom, there was a bunch of other people running around the house. looking for something. they all stopped and looked at me.

" there are others upstairs. " the guy holding me announced. the others nodded their heads and walked over to the stairs. there was some shuffling at the top and i turned my head to see.

my eyes widened as i saw a tired but also very awake cartoonz at the top of the stairs. he saw me and saw the steak at my heart. the guys on the stairs stopped moving and they followed Luke's gaze and they landed on me.

" Luke? " one of the hunters said. Luke turned to him. " Cole." the guy holding me moved the steak and replaced it with a silver knife. he moved the knife and it went down at a quick speed. a sharp pain went through my chest, and through my heart.

i gasped as the piece of metal went through. i was let go and i fell to the floor.

Luke's pov

" marcel! " i yelled as my eyes turned red from anger and worried. marcel fell to the floor as Cole and his friends walked over to me.

i looked at them and they backed away. there was a few slams behind me and i was joined with Tyler, and Brian. they saw marcel and didn't move from their spots, they looked down at the hunters and worried covered their faces.

Tyler and Brian were joined with mini and brock as they tried to get down to marcel. " Tyler, Brian?
why are you guys here?" Cole asked we looked at them and they watched as mini and brock run down to marcel.

" better question, why are you guys here? Cole, Fred, Ethen. " delirious' voice came around the corner.

" wow our four best hunters are now part of the hunted. " Ethen said " so who are they? " Cole asked while pointing at marcel and everyone around him.

" don't worry about it." Tyler said and Ethen looked at them and then back at us. " oh are they your mates? lovers? friends?" Ethen said and he walked over to them. he touched mini and Tyler growled.

Ethen moved and grabbed the dagger that was in Marcel's chest and pulled it out. " he will be

fine." Ethen said to mini and brock.

" does anyone else know your here?" Tyler asked and Ethen nodded his head. " you where always a bad liar" del said and in a blink del was next to Ethen.

the front door opened and it was night out so it could only be the other vampires.
