Chapter 1 :: Moon 2

Gunnr smiled as she looked at the camp the Godlings were calling home. It was still all new, and honestly, quite the change from Asgard, but they all seemed to be settling in quite nicely.

Her ear twitched as she heart the snow behind her crunch under someone's pawsteps.

She turned, seeing Eir and the young Lady Sylvie.

"Good morning, Eir, Lady Sylvie," she greeted, inviting them to sit with her with a gentle motion with her wing.

Eir shook her head. "Gunnr, you must come with us. Lady Sylvie found something," Eir said, quiet enough for no curious ears could easedrop on.

Gunnr rose to her paws, her smile dropping, a seriousness over coming her like that of a well trained General would have.

"Show me."

Eir and Sylvie lead Gunnr to a small clearing. Sylvie pointed with her tail to a spot in the snow not that far away.

"Over there, that's where I fell at," Sylvie said.

Gunnr trekked through the snow, coming to the place the young Godling pointed to.

A large pawprint, about four times as large as hers, was imprinted into the snow.

Gunnr's ears went back in alarm when she found it. Eir coming to her side, close enough for her breath to tickle her ear.

"Sylvie found it yesterday while playing... what do you think made this?"

Gunnr shook her head, her wings ruffling as a chill went down her back.

"I don't know... I'll do more patrols and start staying up at night so whatever it is doesn't come close to camp,"

"Can you take on something who's paw is the size of a full grown cat?"

Gunnr glanced at her from the corner of her eyes, her tone lowered as she spoke.

"I'm not sure, but what I am sure of, is that I'm not going to let anymore Aesir blood be shed. Especially the ones we swore to protect."

Sylvie found a large footprint in the other day while playing in the snow, it was relatively close to camp, but seems a bit old. Might want to keep an eye out...

While out training their hunting skills, Gunnr and Jaws found a large elk carcass. The mighty elk was taken down by something large, large enough to leave keep claw marks the size of a grown cat, and whose jaws could wrap around their whole neck...

Gunnr, Eir, and Kara are still in camp!

Gunnr and Eir are exhausted from all of the training the other day, so they will not be offering training today. Instead, they will randomly be joining on your patrols!

Kara can still help cats build Dens! Remember, with her help, it only takes one cat to build a den instead of three.

Valor can Rank up to be one of the Sons now! Use /Rank up to Son to rank up!

The Valkyries are still protecting the camp, no harm will be brought to the Children for one more moon before Eir and Kara have to leave
