I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to go.  Apollo's hair was sticking out in all directions, Ember was still snoring loudly, and Emerson was packing up her supplies.  I yawned, stretched, rolled out of my bed, and packed up my stuff.  "How are you?"Apollo asked directing his thoughts towards me.  "Not fine!  First you make Ember and I leave our foster home!  Second, you just happen to tell me I have triplets!  What's wrong with you!"I snarled at him in anger.  "Artemis, I'm sorry!"He said sadly, close to tears.  "Sure you are!  Leave me alone, Brother!  Or should I even call you that?! Back off, Bucko!"I yelled.  I felt his midnight blue music filled mind recoil from mine.  I glared at him angrily from across the cave.  "Artemis, it's not his fault!  Lay off!"Emerson said angrily.  Her mind was music filled with fire red music chords.  I also gave her a nasty glare, my dark violet mind flecked with golden music straining with anger.  I was about to burst.  Suddenly dark violet fire shot from my fingertips and I yelped.  Apollo and Emerson looked at me calmly, and I glared at them. "Did you know about this, too?!"I said a storm brewing up in my mind.  My flames suddenly were put out.  I looked gingerly at my hand, and it wasn't even burned.  I sighed, I'm now even MORE a freak!  "We did, in fact, we can summon all elements, but we aren't old enough. Your color was most interesting.  Anyways you learned at a very young age.  Very few people have done this before."Emerson said in awe.  "Whatever,"I said angrily.  I stalked over to my backpack, hoisted it onto my shoulders, and looked at Ember, who was still snoring softly.  I gently shook her, and she woke up tiredly.  "Pack up, we are about to go."  I got dressed into my light sky-blue sweater, a beautiful royal blue coat, American eagle skinny jeans, and black Ugg boots.  I then brushed my hair, put it into a quick French braid, tied it back with a royal blue hair tie, and put on my blue eye contacts.  I then put my makeup on.  "Looking good sis, practically normal."  I whipped my head around.  Standing behind me was Apollo, who looked strikingly handsome.  He had brushed his hair out, put on a long-sleeved, midnight blue shirt that showed off his muscles, a coat over it, jeans, and snow boots.  "Why thank you, you look normal, only you are a girl magnet.  Did you see all the girls oohing and aahing at school when they saw you."I said to Apollo.  "Well sis, it runs in the family,"He winked at me, and I laughed.  "I'm ready,"Replied Ember.  Her red hair was woven into a Dutch braid, and her green eyes sparkled.  She wore no makeup, and she was dressed in a white shirt, with a soft, white, beautiful coat, skinny jeans, and white Ugg boots.  "I'm excited,"she said out loud. Emerson came into view, and her long, curled auburn hair fell down to her back. She wore makeup, brown eye contacts, a red flannel shirt, a brown coat, skinny jeans, and hiking boots.  She snapped open her wings, followed by the rest of us.  We jumped into the air, our feathers acting like sails.  "The place we are going is actually a magical world.  There is elves, dragons, fairies, Dwarves, Blaises are people who summon fire, Terras are people who summons earth, Mermaids summon water, Glacieralas summon ice. We Valkyries are elves who summon air, and all other elements, can heal, do other magic, shape shift, speak telepathically, move things with our minds, change our height, breath underwater, do other things, we have enhanced hearing, taste, touch, smell, feel, and of course we have wings.  There are other creatures you will learn about in Allynia.  We are the strongest of all creatures.  We Valkyries are good at sports, all of our IQs are very high, we run faster than a cheetah, and we live very long lives, about 50,000 years.  We get our pointed ears, big, slanted eyes, perfect hair, equal proportions, angled faces, slender bodies, high cheekbones, dimples, and get very tall at about age 16.  Oh wait!  I forgot!  We turn sixteen tomorrow!  Artemis,Your eyes will darken and a ring of gold and silver will show, and Artemis your hair color will darken immensely.  We will reach it by portal, and we will be there by- WHOOSH!  Something gold and silver whistled past my ear. An arrow!  "Get down!"I shrieked. I did a series of flips while corkscrewing in the air, dodging volleys and volleys of arrows. The others tucked in their wings and dove at the pursuers.  My mind filled with anger and suddenly the air around me blew in gusts, lightning striking down on our pursuers, droplets rained down heavily, large pieces of hail rocketed down, snow covered the air, fire burned in a tornado, and thorns grew around them.  "GO UP!"I screamed with my mind.  Our pursuers were hideous.  They had three eyes, a big head and a twisted, knobby body.  They looked up at me and were scared.  My fire tornado demolished them.  I coasted in for a landing and my knees bucked.  I hit my head and the world went black.  Someone pressed some warm soup to my lips.  I opened my eyes and there was Apollo. "Hey sis, We are almost here, the portal is over there.  You over expended your energy saving us.  Thank you!  Get up its time to go."  "Ugh, brother, pull me up."I said groaning.  His rough, calloused hand gently grabbed mine. When I stood up, I fell over again.  "Apollo, You have to carry me, I am too weak to stand, much less fly."  "Alright sis, up you go,"He said as he hoisted me upon his back.  He snapped open his golden wings and I stared at his face.  "Thanks,"I said.  He grunted, as he took off.  When we neared the portal, Apollo said we would come into the throne room.  He repositioned me, and he charged into the portal.  I instantly felt like I was charging through water and I felt weightless.  Thud.  The world was spinning, when it stopped I looked up and gasped.  I was in a beautiful gold and silver throne room it had huge silver and gold chandeliers with real diamond droppings hanging from it. The throne room had rubies, sapphires, emeralds, tanzanite, alexandrite, topaz, and diamonds.  Then I gazed up at the thrones.  Two people who were both wearing crowns had tears streaming down their eyes.  Mom and Dad!  I approached slowly, and swung into a graceful curtsy.  Ember followed, then Emerson, then Apollo.  "Welcome back Emerson and Apollo.  Artemis and Ember we have missed you so much! We haven't seen since you were twelve and thirteen!" Mom had a high musical voice.  That was it.  I ran into her arms, and looked at my father.  He stared at me his green eyes sparkling.  I then ran into his arms, hugging him. Ember followed, then Apollo, and Emerson did too.  We did a family hug.  "Artemis I heard you can summon all elements!  I'm so proud!  Anyways you definitely need some rest!  We will show you to your rooms."Mom swept an elegant finger towards one of the many corridors that dotted the palace.  Mom showed us our rooms. Mine was next to Apollo's at the end of the corridor. Ember's was across from mine, and Emerson's was next to Ember's.  I strode inside my room.  It was huge!  It had a huge fancy living room, office, dining room, bathroom, three bedrooms, a huge walk in closet, a Jacuzzi,  pool table, piano, a basement, it also had a room with an xbox 360,playstation, computers, DS, a phone, and all the games I could imagine, and an upstairs cosmetics room.  I went to the bathroom, slipped off my clothes, and took a nice hot shower.  I then toweled off my hair, blow dryed it, and slipped on a white glittery nightgown that went down to my knees, and put on a tiara studded with diamonds, and crawled into my beautiful white, violet, and blue canopied bed.  Just then I heard a knock on my door.  "Come in!"I hollered. It was Apollo, and he sat on the edge of my bed.  "Hey sis, you are changing!"Apollo said, as he picked up a lock of my brown hair.  I took a closer look.  My hair was no longer light brown! It was a dark chocolate brown, with red highlights.  Before it was wavy, but now it was curly, and even thicker than before.  I dashed to the mirror and gasped.  The reflection in the mirror showed a beautiful young woman with very large and slightly slanted dark violet eyes with gold rings flecked with silver and sapphire blue. She was smiling two dimples showing on her sharply angled face. She had high cheekbones, a small nose, and a even proportioned face. Her hair shifted revealing very pointed, tapered ears. Her body was slim, beautifully proportioned, and she was very tall. That beautiful woman was me. "Happy birthday sis!"He shouted jubilantly. "Its yours too!"I said hugging Apollo. He took my hand and splayed out my fingers. He slipped on an alexandrite ring, and i gasped. "Thank you Apollo!"I squealed. "You are welcome little sis. I was born first, Emerson was born second, and you were born last." And with that he left. I took off my tiara, and my ring and set them down, crawled into bed, and fell deep asleep.
