OF COURSE IT'S BEAUTIFUL IN EVERY WAY
THE DAY IS SUCH A GREAT SONG
ALSO I LOVE THE SYMBOLISM OF DEKU'S DREAM TO BECOME LIKE ALL MIGHT SEEMING SO OUT OF REACH IN THE BEGINNING, WHICH IS A RUNNING TROPE IN ALL THE OPENINGS
THERE'S SO MUCH MORE SYMBOLISM AND MESSAGES HIDDEN THROUGHOUT THAT IS JUST 👌👌👌 SO GOOD
BUT I'M GOING TO END IT ON THE NOTE THAT THE VISUALS AND SONG ARE AWESOME AND I LOVE THE OPENING A LOT

NOW THE SECOND OPENING

my absolute favorite out of all the the openings,,
the song is amazing, the animation is b e a u t y, it really gets you hyped
going back to deku and all might, in this op instead of deku reaching out to all might hopelessly, he's standing outside and watching all might from afar, while still not completely in reach; all might has allowed deku to fulfill his dream and deku is no longer staring awestruck but instead looking to all might with determination
it's hard to describe it, but it symbolizes that deku and all might's relationship is no longer idol and fanboy but rather student and mentor, and though deku still looks up to him as a hero rather than a teacher, all might has accepted deku as someone he must protect and help grow
but yes all in all i LOVE THIS OP SO MUCHHH Peace Sign is stuck in my head everywhere my god

third opening~

it's definitely my least favorite out of the bunch but that isnt to say it's bad, in fact i love this op A LOT
the visuals aren't as amazing as the last two, however it does have it's extravagant moments, and the song is, as always, 👍👍👍 GREAT
in this op, we see all might jump down from the sky right in front of deku, and they smile at each other and grab each other's hands. this is pretty self explanatory; deku and all might have now completely gotten rid of the concept of deku viewing all might as a hero and are now solely student and teacher, they've gotten grown so close that they're basically father and son (dadmight daDMIGHT), when they used to be absolute strangers
we also get some nice insight into some people's motivation to become a hero, which i think is nice
and the ending shot we get (see above) is a perfect way to show that deku is fully prepared to Go Beyond, Plus Ultra, as we see him getting ready to throw down the wall and move forward.
overall it's a great op with tons of cool symbolism 👍👍👍

and now the fourth opening!!

NOW THIS ONE'S THE KICKER
at first, when funimation released this opening the day before the first episode of season three aired, i was a bit iffy about this opening. i didn't quite know how to feel about it, and at the time i didn't quite care for it. BUT, after listening to it and watching it over and over again, i reaLLY FREAKING ADORE THIS OPENING LIKE SO MUCH
now lemme ask you: in the first scene of the opening, where's all might?
NOWHERE.
AND THAT'S THE THING
ALL MIGHT IS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND
THIS MEANS THAT DEKU HAS COMPLETELY SURPASSED HIM; DEKU IS READY TO BECOME STRONGER AND BETTER THAN ALL MIGHT
all might is no longer deku's source of strength or confidence, all might is now just an obstacle he has overcome and became stronger than
deku knows he's powerful and that he must become the new all might, and even when he never thought it was possible in the very beginning, it's become a reality and he's ready to face that reality with all he's got
if you've read the manga, you know exactly is going to happen to all might, and now is as good a time as any for deku to accept his power and go beyond.
there's also the final shot (again, see above) where deku and all might stand together, however throughout the entire op deku does not look at all might; more symbolism that deku is past all might and doesn't even give him a second glance, and all might understands that
again, it's difficult to explain, but long story short ALL MIGHT IS GONE, DEKU IS READY TO TAKE HIS PLACE

but now onto more lighthearted fangirling

first ending!!!

i used to hate this ending. with a passion. i don't know why.
but this ending is honestly really good and while it may be lacking in very memorable moments/animation, the song and the little moments is really what makes me like the ed so much, like deku wiping his tears while running and being able to see the tiny droplets in the air as he wipes them away, and even him tripping a bit as he runs; lovely little moments like those
but, yes, great ed, very underappreciated!!!
