Not My Girlfriend, You Son Of A Bitch

3rd Person POV

val ran there and kicked open the door to see stinger with a knife as he swung it at elisia and elisia ducked.

"oh not my girlfriend you son of a bitch " val ran forward and punched him in the face as she knocked off his mask and then she kneed him in the jaw knocking him over before she landed one more hit and knocked him out

"elisia, val" rowan said and she ran in as she wrapped her arms around both of them and they looked at 'stinger' who laid on the floor unconscious

"rowan" elisia said and rowan held them before they all made eye contact

"come on, go, go, go" rowan said and they ran out together as they held hands . the police were soon called and they hid behind a wall as they waited

" so you met the  real Stinger?" elisia asked

"yeah, bries friend. That guy was never Stinger. He's been playing us since the beginning" rowan said

"he But there's more of them" elisia exclaimed

"but we already know that" val said and jake rode up to them on his bike as they walked over

"did they tell you anything?" rowan asked

"i know a guy down at the station. We could. That guy's real name is Lance broadly. He'll be taken to the hospital and questioned" he stated

"how long are they holding him?" rowan asked

" well, they're  bagging his hard drive. If he really is the elusive Mr. empty, there's a long list of Felonise they can charge him with. I told them they have to find a way to lock him up. Even if they have to keep digging" jake exclaimed

" How deep are they gonna dig?" elisia said

" Shouldn't they get to the bottom of this?" he asked

"not if it leads back to me and what happened back in long island" val stated

"is it connected to you?" he asked

"they used your gun to shoot me Jake. We don't know if it was Lance or Zoe, but they also have a video of elisia burying it. Her fingerprints are all over it" rowan said and he sighed

"let's go home" he said and he left as val walked with rowan and elisia to elisias home, they walked in and sat down as jake stared at them

" I cant Believe you didn't tell me that this was still going on after dunbar. And my buddy says Lance or stinger, he isn't talking. He has a mention any names, you guys included. And his hard drive, they basically self-destructed. Erase themselves. So they can't find much" he said and there was a knock on the door and jake got up

he opened it and in walked jai with tessa

"oh my god you're okay" tessa said and she hugged elisia

"look, Guys could still be in danger. Mr. empty was arrested, but we don't know if this is over or not" elisia said

"it's never really over" val spoke

" Yeah every time we think we're safe we're wrong" rowan said and she walked over as she hugged val and val hugged her too.

"elisia is it okay if we stay here tonight?" tessa asked

"yeah of course it is" elisia said and val sat down on next to her as they leaned on each other and then sighed

"i don't feel so safe anymore you guys" val said and elisia nodded in agreement as did the others

she sat down next to elisia and rowan as they stared down at the pool and held each other's hands

"you guys are truly the strongest people i know" rowan said and they looked up to see her smiling at them

"you're strong too rowan" she said and she leaned in and kissed her before they heard a phone ring and picked it up to see a text from trevor

'brandon knows it was you guys who put him in jail' rowan read and they all made eye contact

'how does he know?' rowan responded

'someone sent him proof of you guys doing it, he knows and so does brynn' he replied

'you're not mad?' rowan asked trevor

'how can i be mad when he's apart of the reason you guys almost died?' he said and then there was a text on val's phone and she picked it up before her phone rang and she stared at it in fear

"val, you have to pick it up" rowan said and val shook her head

"i can't , it's brynn. she's going to hate me for the rest of my life, i pretended to be her friend" she said and rowan rubbed her arm as elisia rubbed her thumb over her arm

"it's not just going to go away easily val, you have to do it" elisia stated and val sighed

"i'll be back" she exclaimed and she stood up from the chair as she walked away from them and answered it

"how could you val? you knew how hurt i was, you lied to me, how could you?" brynn asked and val sighed

" he Ruined my life brynn he practically turned everyone against me. I almost died" she said and brynn sighed as val grew tears in her eyes and so did brynns

"you lied to me about it val" she cried

" I didn't have a choice and I'm not sorry Brynn" she said and brynn scoffed

"you and me aren't friends, we have never been friends. we will never be friends. you are a horrible person valerie owens" she said and she ended the call as val stared at it in sadness but then wiped the tears under her eyes aggressively

"val" rowan called and she turned to them

"she hates me" val said and they got up out of their chairs as they walked over and wrapped their arms around her and she cried

"it's just one last friend, i'll be fine" she said and they walked inside as they fell asleep together in elisias room and they held each other's hands until the next morning when they woke up and snuck outback

" i Feel like we're missing some thing" elisia stated

" No stinger wasn't doing it alone since Zoe died. There were two accounts. he had to have had help" rowan said as she sipped her tea

"hawk is involved some how" elisia said and she held up her phone

"there's no way he's not" val said and elisia nodded as she looked through her pictures

" when stinger  and I went to his apartment,i feel like i saw something but i can't place it. look at this, hawk was looking at this drawing of hailey and it's almost identical to this drawing of Zoe. Hawk must've given this drawing to Zoe which makes me think he knows her and knows her well" elisia said

"maybe hawk is the new kc?" rowan suggested

"where is hawk right now?" elisia asked

" Probably at school. you know the place we used to go" rowan said and val chuckled

"wait lance broadly didn't know that zoe was dead right" val said

" he kept Sending her messages to me on missed connections. stinger was the one who told us that he was dead. if lance and stinger are the same person" rowan said

"then zoe is alive" elisia said with val and then there texts went off

'alive and well' the texts read and they threw their phones into the pool

"i can't be here anymore" val said and she got up as she kissed her girlfriends and then she left the house. she was horrified and she hated that
she was walking home until she got home and the house phone rang . she walked over and picked it up as she looked around and then sighed

"v, hey we have to go to camp terreraro. we're on our way to pick you up right now" rowan said and the call ended before val sighed and opened the door. she saw them standing there and she got in the car as they drove to the camp

"i keep reaching for my phone" elisia said as they got out. they followed after hawk but when they walked inside, he wasn't there and all they saw was nothing

until the door closed and there stood someone with a gas mask and a stink bomb. it was pulled and dropped as they stared and now , now they were horrified

but val had been horrified, was now any different?
