Why The Hell Are You Here?

3rd Person POV

val met up with the girls after as they walked with each other and talked. val walked between them and held their hands as she listened to them talking about hailey

" Do you really believe Hailey would just leave without saying goodbye?" elisia asked

"no" rowan answered and val shrugged

"she was pretty scared and i mean her and sean were sort of dating, if i saw one of you there in that circle i would've been horrified" val spoke and they nodded

"yeah you're right" rowan said and elisia continued to ask questions

" Hailey bought a ticket for California. I keep trying to text her, and then I remember that she left her phone at home" rowan said

" It's just so crazy. She's really scared, isn't she? Shit. Do you know hawk?" elisia asked

"yeah i met him once" rowan stated

"yeah i did too" val said as she remembered passing him in the halls

"well, I figured out he's my teachers aid. So, he was the one who grade on my test with a red pen. The one that had the zoo written all over it, remember? And we also know that he's the one who asked Haley to meet him when she got trapped in the elevator. I mean, doesn't that seem supremely shady to you" elisia said

"yeah it's definitely odd" val agreed

"oh my god, elisia, val. An email from Hailey. Look" rowan said and she showed them her phone as they read it

" No I'm not OK with that. Are you OK with that?" elisia asked

" I don't blame her. She was really scared guys" rowan said

" Yeah but we're all scared. Typical Haley. running away. It pisses me off. You're right we need to end this. If we can and then she can come back. I definitely saw Zoe at the dance studio" elisia stated

"yeah but why was sean there?" rowan asked and val sighed

"we can only wonder or we can go to source of the question" she said

"it might not be the best idea to go to him" elisia said and she nodded as they continued to walk together until they looked at each other

" i have to go home and take care of nala but i'll see you guys later" she said

"shouldn't you head to the hospital? for them to check on your stitches and make sure that your surgery went well" elisia asked and val shook her head

"i don't need to" val said and she kissed elisia before she kissed rowan and they kissed each other too

"bye" val stated and she turned around as she walked home and walked up to see milo sitting on their front steps as he waited for her and she stopped quickly in her footsteps

"hi val" he said and she stopped in her tracks before she shook her head and stared at him in annoyance

" Why the hell are you here?" she asked and he shrugged

" I just wanted to talk and I missed you" he said and she scoffed

" Yeah? Well I didn't miss you so leave me the hell alone" she exclaimed and he shook his head

"val come on you know you missed me" he said and she shook her head

" missed you? You made my life a living hell. You made me move states, I got questioned by the police for defending myself. People called me crazy milo and yet you decide to show up in my new town sit on my front steps and say you miss me? I don't miss you and you shouldn't miss me because the last thing I did you was beat the shit out of you and put you in the hospital. I have moved on I am better without you and I don't need you in my life showing up now. I have too much shit going on for you to even sit here and act like you are a good person because you are not a good person and you never have been. I suggest you get the hell off my property and the hell off my porch before I either send my parents after you, I send Nala after you or I beat the shit out of you myself" she said and he stared at the ground as he stood up and stepped towards her

" You should be scared of me val" he said and she shook her head

" But I'm not scared of you and I never will be. Now get the hell out of my property and get the hell out of my life" she said and she stood toe to toe with him as they made eye contact and he shook his head

"welcome to the beginning of the end" he whispered and she shook her head

"watch it milo, or my fist might just fly into your face again" she said and mr.fricks stepped out of his house

"valerie are you okay? is this boy bothering you?" he asked and milo looked at val before she shared eye contact with mr.fricks

"he is actually, can you get him away from me and off of my
property?" she asked and mr.fricks nodded

"let's go" he said and he walked over as he grabbed milo's hand and left the property. val waved tauntingly and smiled at him as he left before she got a text

'trevor's my freaking stepbrother' rowan texted and val laughed under her breathe before she got another text

'tell your girlfriend to stop searching' the text read and val held her breathe in fear as she looked around and sighed. she walked inside and put her phone down on the table as she let nala out of her crate and laid on the couch staring at the ceiling

it could only get worse from there but val knew that elisia had to stop looking around but would she?

she wanted to know what happened and she only hoped to get to the bottom of it
