Chapter Seven
She's A Little Saint, Isn't She?

3rd Person POV

val woke up the next morning on the couch with elisia in her arm and the sun shining through the windows. her moms got an early shift and they were gone. val sat up and elisia groaned as she felt the sun hit her face

"hey we have to go, it's 6;45" val said and elisia sighed as she turned and looked at val

"i have clothes in my backpack, can i change in your bathroom?" she asked and val nodded

"yeah down the hall to your left" val stated and elisia grabbed the clothes out of her backpack before she walked to the bathroom and changed. val walked upstairs and she changed her clothes too

"hey val you ready?" elisia called up and val grabbed her bag as she walked down the stairs and nodded

"yeah we can go" she said and elisia wrapped her hand around val's as they left the house and walked to the school. elisia walked into the bathrooms and val followed after her

"oh, cass. smile for the camera" someone said and val scoffed

"come here" she said and val shook her head before she lifted her leg and elbowed the girls elbow making her phone fly

"do you really have to be as shitty as you smell?" val asked and the girl looked at her friend who walked forward and tried to punch val but val punched her first and her head went back

"watch your back bitch" val said and she wrapped her arm around elisia as she grabbed her bag and they walked out of the bathroom together

"you know you're always protecting me and rowan" elisia said and val shrugged

" i try" she said and they walked to class together as they sat down and val smiled at rowan and elisia

"i saw you two last night" rowan said to elisia and elisia sighed

"you aren't mad right?" elisia whispered

"of course not, i like her the same way, just glad that you think the same" rowan said and they both looked at val who was writing down the notes

"she tell you about milo?" rowan questioned

"yeah but it's not my thing to tell, i'm sure she'll tell you soon" elisia said and rowan nodded as they smiled at her

"she's a little saint isn't she?" elisia spoke as val answered a question for the teacher and they both nodded in agreement

"she truly is" rowan agreed and the class ended as the day continued and val walked home at the end of the day, elisia followed after her

"rowan knows" elisia spoke and val nodded

"she likes you too by the way" elisia exclaimed and val smiled as they opened the door and was met with sophia and allison

"mom , mama hey" val said and they smiled at her before they looked at elisia

"is this that elisia girl you were telling us about?" sophia asked and she blushed as elisia sat her stuff down on the couch and looked at them

"it's really nice to meet you" elisia spoke and they smiled at her

"nice to meet you too elisia, we haven't heard that much but it's good to meet the girl who took our girl in" allison said

"oh have you met rowan? she's my girlfriend, her and val are really close too" elisia said and they turned to val as she looked down at the ground

"we have not but now we definitely hope to meet her" sophia said and val smiled

"we heard that you two have to work on a project so we are going to let you work" allison spoke and she kissed her on the head with a smile

"bye mom, bye mama" val called and they smiled as they left the house and elisia smiled

"you really are close with them aren't you?" elisia asked as they left the house

"my best friends, have been my whole life" she said and elisia smiled as she sat down

"you know i never knew that someone could be so close with their parents until i looked at me and my moms. they have always supported me no matter what and i guess i never understood that people don't have those relationships. there's been fights over dumb small things but they have never made me feel bad or unworthy" val said and elisia nodded as they sat on the couch with nala between them

rowan watched from her house with a smile on her face, she watched as elisia laughed with val and val laughed with her. rowan got up and she walked over to the house as she knocked on the door and val opened it

"hey" val said and rowan walked in as she looked at elisia and elisia looked at her

"hey babe" elisia said and she got up as she grabbed rowan's face and she kissed her softly and val smiled at the sight of them . they turned to val and rowan walked forward as she ran her thumb over val's cheek and she looked in her eyes

"you truly are a mystery Valerie " rowan spoke and she leaned in as val leaned in too and they kissed softly. val held elisias hand in hers as elisia watched with a smile on her face. val pulled away and she leaned in as she kissed elisia and then watched as rowan and elisia kissed

she was finally happy for once

but things change
