The Sunlight peeked through the slight opening of the window and fell on the sleeping figure of a 22-year-old girl. She groaned and slowly lifted her head from her study table.

Once again she slept on her study table, not because she was engrossed in learning her syllabus but because she was too engrossed in reading the book she brought yesterday.

How can she resist the novels, who make her feel the world while tugged inside a blanket.

Stretching her arms she got up from her table and looked at her room.

It was messy but she doesn't care to clean it as she was living in hostels and here her mom cannot scold her for not cleaning her room.

Taking a quick shower she wore a white t-shirt and skinny fit black jeans paired with a Maroon Cardigan. She picked up her college bag and tied the watch to her wrist. She tied her hair in a high ponytail and walked out of her room.

Walking out of her college she moved towards the small tea stall and sat on the bench ordering a cup of tea for herself.

She looked around while sipping her tea when her eyes fell on a poster

She finished her tea and moved toward the poster

"Valentine special book fair organised for couples"

"Why not single's," She muttered under her breath.

She decided to visit this cafe library that was hosting this fair to know the further rules even when singles can't win any prizes.

The library cafe was the most famous library plus cafe in the city. A perfect combination for book lovers like her.

It was her favourite place where she used to write down her books.

She walked towards her college while looking at her wristwatch when she bumped into someone.

"Sorry," They said together and looked at each other.

"You, I take my sorry back," The boy said, rolling his eyes.

"Damn it, I wasted my sorry on you. God forgive me please," She said dramatically, touching her ears.

"Get off my way," He said, smiling sweetly.

"What's that in your hand, book fair poster. With whom are you participating, you ex," She taunted him while looking at the poster.

How can she miss a chance to taunt him? At Least not when it's about his ex-girlfriend. The girl behind them being enemies.

"No, I will take part with you. Come baby let's fill our entry," He said, faking a broad smile, making her roll her eyes.

"Not interested, Mr Adit Bajpai," She said keeping her head high.

"So sweet of you Miss Antara Saxena," He said, meeting her gaze.

Antara walked away giving him a last glare to him.

A smile broke on Adit's lips as soon as she went away. He was holding his smile when she asked him about the fair

The annoyed look on her face made her look cute as he loves irritating her to no end.

Adit walked away towards the college ground once again bunking a lecture.

Sitting on the bench he looked at the poster. He didn't have a partner to participate with but he knew whom he had to choose.

As he wasn't lying when he told Antara that he is going to participate with her.

Closing his eyes he went back to the time when he and Antara were in their first semester and they bonded instantly.

A month into their new friendship they both became each other's new partners in this new city, Kolkata.

Things changed after a month when Adit decided to go into a relationship with their batchmate, Natasha.

Natasha never liked their friendship as she felt that Adit was going away from her. Being in the pool of emotions she decided to play games, dirty games.

As result a pile of misunderstandings constructed between them that changed their status from being new friends to new enemies.

Adit got to know about all these things when he heard Natasha talking to one of her friends about it but things went out of his hands.

His inner guilt was so much that the urge to talk to her and make all those misunderstandings swap away. 

In one month of friendship, he got to know that she never shared her sorrows with anyone. She was an introvert with high ambitions.

In one month they were just discovering new things about each other. Many things were yet to be known.

On the other hand, Antara was attending the lecture physically as her mind was fluttering across the paths of the past.

Releasing a deep breath she takes off her thoughts as they were nothing but enemies now.

She wanted to tell him that those were misunderstandings between them but then the way he supported Natasha in front of her made her feel bad.

Even though she knew that he was supporting the person he loved, she expected her friend to listen to her share of words, but expectations are meant to break.

She decided not to clear things as her self respect was her treasure.

The clock ticked 5:00 in the evening she updated the new chapter of her ongoing Wattpad book.

Closing the laptop she moved towards the Library hall to listen to the rules and arrangements of the book fair.

The librarian entered the stage and addressed the people gathered into the hall.

Everyone settled on the big round tables and by coincidence Adit and Antara were on the same table just on different sides.

"The book fair is going to be unique this year. As it's specially for couples and we all know that a relationship is all about being on the same team and maintaining a healthy, trustful understanding.

So, we have decided to select ten pairs of couples. The book fair will go on from 12 February and will end by e 14th afternoon. As we didn't want to disturb the couple's special plans.

You all have to submit the entries the by 7th and 8th of February and the on 9th we will have a Who knows each other better challenge and the top 10 couple will be selected.

Every couple will be given a set of books from different genres and they have to craft a stall together and sell the books and the couple who will work with more understanding and the couple who will sell the highest number of books.

The librarian finished off the sets of information and started giving them the general rules.

It was the 6th of February today and they had to find someone with whom they could participate because the prize was something they didn't want to lose.

Now, the work was to find a date and understand them to be in the top ten.
