accompanying lucas to his classes was more and more awkward everyday. mark had recognised me. i knew it. like i had expected, i couldn't look at him like i used to... everytime i approached his classroom with lucas, he looked at me strangely, with pity, or disgust, i couldn't determine. 

but what he found even stranger, i guess, is that i was friends with another guy of his class : jaemin. jaemin and i have been friends since long, but we never hang out together in school. well, last time was an exception, but anyway. it's not something that we're used to doing. 

i hated the awkwardness that took place between mark and i, and what i hated even more was that i couldn't stare at his beautiful figure freely anymore.

one evening, after our music class, lucas and i were discussing about the interest i had in jeno's older brother. 

the two of us had taken music class as an option, because we knew freshmen and seniors were mixed in those extra curriculum classes. and also because we've loved music since long. so it was a good way to see each other while doing something that we both enjoyed. we had signed in the class that took place from 7p.m. to 9p.m., so that there wasn't much people. 

"heeey, hyuck! i've got an idea!" lucas exclaimed after thanking the teacher, while holding the door of the classroom for me. 

i chuckled. "oh wow. you? lucas? you have an idea? does that mean that brain of yours is functionning? i thought that thing was completely off."

"will you fuck off?" he hit my shoulder making me almost loose my balance.

"nah, sorry dude. anyway. what was your 'idea' ?"

"why don't you add him on snapchat?" 

i halted. 'is he crazy?!' "he won't accept my invitation. it's no use." i said, trying my best to keep my cool. 

lucas laughed. "yeah. you're just saying that because you're not brave enough to ask him."

"excuse me? i'm the bravest guy this earth knows!" i kicked him in the calves.

"oh, it doesn't seem like it... poor little donghyuck doesn't even have the guts to try sending his crush an invitation... how sad." lucas moked me.

he knew it was my weak point. when we were younger, he used to tell me to do nonsense and stupid things because i dared to do everything. i wasn't scared. we even joked calling me 'dareman'. so right now, i couldn't reject his request. i had to say yes... "well, then give me his username."

and that's how i found myself crying tears of joy when, two hours after, he had accepted my friend request, added me, and engaged the conversation.
