"val?" david said, almost whispering it. val turned her head to face him. her show had finished and she had tried to meet as many of her fans as she could. the two of them were currently stood behind the venue, with no one else around. david was definitely nervous, but val didn't know why.

"yes?" val said, sweetly. she was facing him, waiting eagerly for him to continue talking.

"there's something i wanted to ask you. i've actually been wanting to ask you for a while now." david rambled on. val smiled at him, giggling at his nervousness.

"what is it?" she asked, taking a step closer to him.

"i was wondering if... maybe... i don't know, you would possibly—" david was cut off by valentine's lips pressing against his. david felt a wave of relief wash over him as he leaned into the kiss, relaxing himself.

val slowly pulled away, a smile evident on her face.

"yes." she said.

"yes what?" david asked, wanting to make sure they both understood what was happening here.

"yes david, i will be your girlfriend." valentine responded. a huge smile formed on davids face as he grabbed val's waist and pulled her closer to him, placing a kiss on her forehead.
