"diana what do i say!? i've just left him on read." val panicked, asking her best friend for help. diana was currently browsing through valentine's wardrobe, trying to find something cute for her to wear. as val's birthday was tomorrow, diana told her she wanted to take her out for dinner, but instead she had arranged for val and david to have a date. the only thing was, neither of them knew that.

"just tell him how you feel!" diana said, excitedly "but you better do it quick because if you leave him on read for much longer he might change his mind."

valentine had thought about it a lot over the past few days, trying to understand how she felt about david. deep down she knew she had feelings for him, but she didn't want to admit it. however, the more she tried to push them away, the stronger those feelings got.

"okay okay i'm just gonna do it." val sighed, reaching for her phone.
