Deals and Resurrection

I rushed home in my Impala as fast as possible, I opened the door, Bobby and Alice were talking, and I could tell they'd been crying. Bobby looked at me confused, and I shrugged it off and ran to the room that we'd put Sam in, I didn't have the heart to bury him. Not yet.

I felt relieved when I walked through the doorway and Sam was sitting on his bed, alive. He stood up, smiled and we hugged.

"Alice. Where's Alice? I wanna see her again."

I smiled, given that Sam told me not long after Zee died that he was gonna ask her out.

"C'mon. This way."

I walked over and told Sam to wait until I called him here.

Alice was confused about the situation. And I called Sam in. Alice's face lit up, and she cupped her hands to her mouth, she immediately teared up and ran, jumping into Sam's arms.

I smiled, but then sadness flooded over me when their moment made me think of Zee.

"Bobby? Is there even any way to get Zee back?"

Bobby sighed, and shrugged.

"Maybe someday boy, someday."

*Flashback timeeeeee (No one POV)

It was the fourth of July, and today Bobby, Alice, Sam, Zee and I would go out to the lake and have a nice barbecue. I walked into the kitchen, and saw Zee baking something.

I rested my chin on her head, and she smiled, just staying there.

"Whatcha baking?"

"I'm not telling you!"

"Pleeeeasee?"

Zee sighed and chuckled.

"Alright. But don't freak out, okay?"

I took my chin off her head when the timer went off and she pulled out a freshly baked Apple Pie.

"Oh my god. I love you!"

"I baked it for you. A whole pie all to yourself, Dean! Eat it whenever you want!"

I wrapped my arms around Zee's waist and gave her a hug.

"I love you."

"More than pie?" She joked.

I simply smiled, closing my eyes and resting my head on her shoulder.

"More than pie."

*end of flashback*

Tears streamed down my face, and at that moment, I'd decided we had only one thing to do.

Kill Azazel.

*Le time skip*

A graveyard. An old, creepy graveyard.  That's where we'd tracked Azazel.

Alice stayed behind at the bunker with Bobby, given she was in a wheel chair, and I tossed Sam a pistol. I grabbed the colt, and I looked everywhere. I yelled, hoping he'd hear and come out.

"Azazel! Get your ass out here and fight!"

I heard a chuckle come from behind a building, and I gasped as I was flown across the cemetery, right into a grave stone, it broke and I laid down in pain. The colt went flying a few feet away from me, and Sam yelled my name but started to run, but Azazel threw him against a tree and made him stay there, he couldn't move.

I tried to get up, but Azazel did the same to me, I glared, and watched as Azazel smirked, looking at Sam.

"I'll get to you in a minute champ, but I'm proud of you! I knew you had it in you!"

Then Azazel turned and faced me, grinning even wider now.

"So, Dean,. I gotta thank you. You see, demons can't resurrect people unless a deal is made. I know, red tape, it'll make you nuts. But thanks to you, Sammy's back in rotation!"

Azazel made a rotation movement with his fingers, and I was shaking, blood was streaming down my forehead from my impact on the gravestone. I sat there as Azazel was right in my face, and glared.

"Now I wasn't counting on that, but I'm glad. I liked him better than Jake anyhow. Tell me, have you ever heard the expression 'If a deal is to good to be true it probably is?' "

Azazel grinned, and I smirked.

"You call that a good deal?"

"Well. It's a better shake then your 'girlfriend' ever got."

Azazel knew that would make me mad, feel bad. And I glared.

"Don't you drag her into this."

"And you never wondered why, Dean? I'm surprised.  I mean, how certain are you that what you brought back is 100 percent, pure, Sam?"

Azazel asked, and I glanced at Sam, he was clearly struggling to get free.

"I mean, you of all people should know that what's dead... should stay dead."

I smirked, looking at Azazel, who stopped kneeling and got up, grabbing one of the guns Sam and I had brought, thank God it wasn't the colt.

"Anyway, thanks a bunch. I knew I kept you alive for some reason. Until now anyway. I couldn't have done it without your pathetic self-loathing self-destructive desire to sacrifice yourself for your family."

I stared at Azazel as he pointed the gun at me, ready to pull the trigger. That's when Azazel gasped as a gun was cocked to the back of his head.

"You so much as touch him, and I'll have every right to pull this goddamn trigger and blow your brains all over this fucking cemetery."

Azazel smirked, then I heard a gun shot, and he fell over dead. I looked up to see who'd killed him. And my eyes lit up, I started to cry. I could finally move, and I was staring in shock. I stood up, smiling.

"Heya hotshot. Miss me?"

Zee smiled, and I ran right in for a hug, burying my face in her leather jacket.

"Oh my god. I I thought I lost you!"

I cupped Zee's face and she started laughing, tears streaming down both of our cheeks.

Zee turned around to find Sam, and he smiled, giving she a warm hug.

"How did you get here?!"

"The gate to hell. Dean I was gone for months, I spent years down there. I was... I... I was tortured. They burnt me, attacked me. Forced me to do things I hated. And then... They made me do through I nightmare. You were in hell, and I kill... killed you. I'm so sorry."

I grabbed her face and forced her to look at me.

"Hey hey. You're alright. You'd never, NEVER hurt me. Ever. Now c'mon, let's get you home. Bobby and Alice would love to see you again."

Zee smiled, and I remembered how much I missed her smile.

Once Sam got in the backseat of the Impala, I told him to wait a second.

"Zee. I need to talk to you. Sam can NOT hear. Okay?"

She nodded, and I yanked her aside.

"What is it Dean?"

I stayed silent, my face sad and guilty.

Zee read my eyes, and she stepped back in shock.

"You dumbass. You didn't did you."

I stayed quiet, and she looked at me.

"H... How long do you have?"

"One year. I have one year."

Zee sighed, rolling her fingers through her hair. I sighed, I knew that wasn't gonna help at all. I turned to face Zee, and she gave me a hug, crying. I kissed the top of her head, and she continued to cry.

"I don't want you to leave... Please don't leave!"

She yelled, and I sighed, holding her tighter, letting her calm down.

"It's okay, it's alright."

We stayed like that for a few minutes, then went home.

*Le time skip (Zee POV)*

I ran deep into the woods, looking for someone, and I yelled.

"I came to make a deal! Someone show themselves NOW!"

Then, a dark, brooding man, wearing all black appeared, smirking.

"Hello Zee."

"Hey Crowley. Long time no see. J want to make a deal."

"So I heard. Well... What is it?"

"Can you bring back someone who's already sold their soul?"

Crowley frowned, and I glared.

"DAMMIT! Okay.... Alright. After he dies, you let me FREELY go into hell and get him out, and I'll give you my demon abilities. Because you may need them Crowley. After all..."

I snapped my fingers, which immediately made Crowley's hellhound come to me and heel.

"You did say I'm Queen of The Hellhounds."

Crowley sighed, and I sent Juliet back to him.

"Alright. I'll take your abilities so you can have your squirrel back. Later, my little racoon."

I rolled my eyes as Crowley disappeared, and I sighed heavily, knowing that I'd found a way to keep Dean safe. And hopefully... alive.
