Back To Old Ways
(ALICE POV)
I'd been sitting with Bobby, waiting and waiting for Sam and Dean to come back. They hadn't been home for hours, and I was really starting to worry.
"Alice, the boys are back!"
My ears perked, and I looked towards the door. Sam walked in,and he had cuts and bruises, bleeding. Then Dean came in. He had a gash on his head, blood trickled down his cheek.
"Holy shit. What happened to you guys?"
They didn't answer, and I heard more footstep's coming from the door. I looked in confusion, and gasped when I saw.
"Heya Al."
"Please don't call me that."
We both laughed, and she looked at me with a confused look.
"Alright. Who the hell put you in a wheelchair?"
"Some idjit at an old army camp. He's dead thankfully, but Sam also died in the process."
I saw Zee exchange a sad and frustrated look at Dean, and he lowered his head, like he was guilty.
"But hey, in a few days I should be good to go. It was a minor injury to my spine. But Sam had a panic attack once he found out."
I chuckled, and Sam looked at me glaring.
"I did not!"
Then he started blushing and smiling.
Dean whispered something to Zee, and she nodded, in a sad way, and told Sam to follow her outside.
What the hell is going on?
(Zee POV)
Sam followed me outside, and we leaned against the hood of the Impala.
I sighed, and he looked at me.
"What do you have to say that Dean can't say himself?"
I sighed, my eyes teared up.
"He did the same damn thing I did for him."
Sam stared, and his eyes widened, he was getting upset.
"He didn't."
I stayed silent, and Sam yelled.
"Tell me he didn't! Please!"
I shook my head, and by then Sam knew.
"How... How long does he have?"
I choked on my words, hesitantly.
".. One... One year. He has one year."
Sam looked down, crying.
"Do you need me to grab him Sam? For you?"
Sam nodded, and I felt horrible, and yanked him in a hug.
"C'mere."
I exchanged a glance with Dean, but then it came to me. The deal I'd made with Crowley. I hesitated on telling Sam, but I knew I had to. I wouldn't leave him like this. All sad, and lonely.
"Sam. What I'm about to tell you. You can NOT, NOT tell anyone. Not Alice, not Bobby, not even Dean himself. Alright?"
Sam nodded, and I let go of hugging him.
"Of all my time in hell, this man named Crowley wanted to use me as a chew toy for his hellhounds. But they wouldn't listen to him, they'd listen to me. And then, Crowley found an orphaned hellhound, and he told me to raise him. Take care of him and see why they'll listen to me. We later discovered I had the ability to control all the hellhounds. I was their queen."
Sam cut me off as he felt breathing by his neck.
"Oh God. Zee did you bring him home?"
"I couldn't just leave him there! He was a runt, he'd be dead by now! And he's on our side, aren't ya boy!"
My hell hound, Aze, made a playful and happy, but still scary bark.
"Anyways. After Dean told me he'd sold his soul, he told me not to tell you, but hey, I am right now aren't I?"
Sam laughed, and I softly smiled.
"So, when we'd gotten home, I told Dean I had to do something. That's why you guys were waiting on me at the door. I yelled for Crowley, and told him I wanted a deal. I said that after Dean dies and goes to hell, I'd be let freely into hell and get him out, as long as I gave Crowley my hellhound queen abilities. But thank God Aze will still listen to me, given he'd imprinted on me."
Sam smiled, giving me a hug.
"Thank God! Oh thank you Zee! So much."
"You have to keep quiet Sam, okay?"
He nodded, then rubbed the back of his head.
"Well if you're telling me this. I better confess too."
I nodded.
"I like your sister. A LOT Zee. What am I supposed to do?"
I laughed, it'd been obvious by now he'd liked Alice. I was just waiting for in of them to cough it up.
"Tell her. Just dive right in, be yourself. She can't say no."
Sam smiled, ready to walk off.
"And Sam?"
"Hm?"
I smirked.
"If you're gonna ask her, don't be a Dean."
Sam chuckled, and then walked into the house, Aze looked at me, and I started running around and having him chase me.
At this moment, I decided to talk to Crowley again. I met up with him at our usual spot, and walked next to a tree to wait.
"Crowley. I need some explanations. About my last. And Alice's. Now!"
Crowley grumbled and sighed.
"Well alright. But you may want to sit down for this one."
I listened, sitting on the ground, not really caring.
"You and Alice are not biological sisters. Only step sisters. And you were both born with powers. Her real mother was a human, but her father was an angel. Now you, Zee, your real mother was a demon. And both of you share the same father. You're the loving spawn of good and evil itself."
I cut Crowley, off. Given what he'd said made no sense.
"Wait wait wait. I can't be an angel-demon hybrid. Their blood doesn't mix. You have to be lying or joking or whatever."
"No, Zee. I'm telling the honest truth. In some remarkable way, your parents discovered how to... 'create' you. I'm still fully unsure. But you have demonic abilities and angelic grace. It astounds me!"
I started pacing, clearly confused.
"So... I'm not human at all? Like whatsoever?"
Crowley nodded. And I realised that that's why every monster is after me.
"So... I'm what? What would you call me?"
Crowley shrugged. "It's what you are! You name it!"
"I uh... What about a demangel I?"
Crowley made an expression of acceptance and then turned back to me.
"And Zee?"
"Uhuh?"
"Take care of your sister. Take care of possum."
I laughed, then Crowley poofed mid air.
"What the hell. My sister is my step sister, a nephilim, AND I'm a demangel!"
I walked off, ready to go inside.
One year. Just one year. And then I'd bring him back. And I'm gonna do it for Sam. I know how much he needs Dean.
Just one year.
