(So I looked up a bit about Wraiths and saw different versions of them so I'm sorta combining some of the versions I've heard of)

(I apologize in advance for all the references)

(There was going to be a Spooky Tales episode titled the Wraith so I thought making this would be cool)

Several of the Vacktor siblings were sitting in their kitchen eating breakfast.

"You don't think all these strange "sightings" are peculiar?" Purple asked reading the newspapers. He was looking at an article called "Teen Girl's Cousin is a Narwhal Like Creature" on it was a picture of a boy with curly brown hair glasses and a narwhal horn. "I mean anyone with a brain can see that horn is fake. Besides narwhals don't even have horns they have teeth." Purple said.

"Or like last week when a boy thought he saw a kid with dragon wings." Pink said.

"Let's not forget zombies walking down the streets." Gray said.

"What about the kid who claims they saw Green cleaning up his part of the room." Purple said. That earned a chuckle out of everyone sitting at the table.

"Some of them could be real. I mean didn't a bunch of people get captured by a giant tree thing?" Blue asked.

"You mean the Ent? That may have been true of a hallucination caused by trauma or a prank by local youth. Some adolescents could have chopped down all the trees within a couple of blocks and then "kidnapped" people. Things like this is what makes me so cynical of people." Purple replied.

"Well you've got to admit not many of them are really creative. One person wrote that they saw the creator of the "game" claiming that our world is just a simulation in a computer. I mean come on even I can make better conspiracy theories than that." Orange said.

"Honestly it just never fails to irritate me with how people come up with fake news it's absolutely prosperous." Purple said.

Just then Yellow entered happily skipping. "Hey guys hey guys! Guess what I found." Yellow said.

"The eye of Claritas?" Orange said.

"What no, but I love your creativity and enthusiasm with your answer. Anyways I found this." Yellow said. He held out his hand and a strange gold coin was it with some weird marking on it. Everyone got closer around the coin.

"What type of coin is it? I've never seen anything like it before." Orange asked.

"Hmm. I'm not quite sure. Perhaps I could open up Red and I's lab and do some tests on it. Purple said perplexed with this strange coin.

"The symbol on it is interesting though." Gray remarked.

"Indeed it is. It appears to be made out of gold, but it gives off some strange properties that make me thing otherwise." Purple suggested.

"Hey didn't Red get a bar of gold from some weird dude? Maybe this has some,thing to do with it?" Yellow asked.

"No. What Red was given was most certainly gold, I should know I did tests on it, but this is just puzzling." Purple said admiring the coin.

"Yellow where did you find this?" Pink asked.

"I was walking with mom and Magenta early this morning. We're earlier birds and sometimes we go on morning walks together since the sun is so pretty when it first rises." Yellow realized he was getting off track on his own that time. That's good he's improving. "Anyways I saw something shinny out of the corner of my eye and I just naturally had to go pick it up." Yellow said.

"Well you certainly have an eye for shinny and unusual things." Pink said.

"Is it alright if I hold onto this for awhile and see if I can figure out what it is?" Purple asked Yellow.

"Sure. Just be super careful with it, not that I don't think you will." Yellow said happily. Purple took the coin and held it in his hand.

Just then Red and Green came walking in.

"Hey guys what's going on?" Red asked.

"Well we were just talking about Yellow's new "coin", but before that we were complaining about the "news" if you could even call it that." Gray said.

"What news?" Green asked.

Purple and Blue held up the newspapers.

Green and Red took a look at it. Red's eyes widen in shock and Green did his best to keep his composure. They were articles about monster sightings. The monsters that Red, Green, and Barney caught. "You two heard anything about this?" Purple asked.

Red and Green didn't want to lie to their siblings. Red especially felt bad for the whole denying his siblings to befriend Barney. They were both afraid their siblings wouldn't respond positively if they found out that they hunted monsters. Both of the boys searched their minds looking for a way out of it. Out of the corner of Red's eye he noticed Yellow's coin in Purple's hand and remembered that Gray mentioned Yellow finding s strange coin. Red tired his best to make his ignoring Purple's question look natural.

"Hey Yellow is that the coin you found?" Red asked. Yellow's face lit up with delight. Green breathed a sigh of relief when everyone turned their attention to Yellow and the coin that Purple was currently holding.

"Yes. I was on my morning walk and I saw it and I just had to take it with me, I don't think it belongs to anyone." Yellow said.

"Do you know what it is?" Green asked.

"Nope. We were just talking about it. Purple is going to do some experiments in yours guys lab." Yellow said.

"That's good." Red replied.

"I could use a hand analyzing the type of metal this coin is made out of. Want to give me a hand?" Purple asked as he turned to Red. Red would have loved to help his siblings and would have enjoyed working in his lab. However, Green, and him had to meet up with Barney to see what the Old Man had for them this time.

"I actually promised I was going to help Barney with something." Red said. It wasn't technically a lie. He did promise to help Barney, but Red still felt guilt in deceiving his siblings like that.

"Alright just promise me that the two of us can still hangout in our lab together." Purple replied.

"I promise. The two of us are like best friends. And nothing will ever change that." Red said. Purple smiled back at Red.

Red and Green stayed with their siblings for a bit and ate they causal chitchat this and that nothing really interesting. Purple was acting slightly distant though. It was odd, but he was probably just sad that Red wouldn't be helping him research in their lab.

Afterwards Red and Green met up with Barney outside the Old Man's house.

"Hey old man you in here?" Green asked. As unusual he was met with the sounds of the old man coughing.

"What? Who is it?" He asked.

"It's us the three kids who always clean up your messes." Green said.

Cough sound. "Oh right. I always forget about you kids." The old man said. Barney and Red followed Green into the old man's basement.

"So what's do haves us doings this time?" Barney asked.

"Oh you want to do some more -cough- work? Well let's see I've got um some windows that need washing, or you could -cough- paint the walls or maybe you could.." He said as he was cut off.

"We mean help with capturing all the monsters." Red replied. The old man looked slightly disappointed.

"Man I was really looking forward to you kids painting the walls. I'm kinda old and a bit lazy myself." He said rambling on.

"We're not doing your chores anymore. Not after the last time you tricked us into doing your grocery shopping so we could save the school." Green said unamused.

"Yah I was wondering how denture cream would help stop zombies. In hindsight we probably should've realized we were being messed with then and there." Red said.

"You kids got to admit that was funny right? -cough- anyways I've got something new going on last night I read a good ole book and this -cough- creature escaped." The old man said.

"Just tell us what we need to do and we'll do it." Red said triumphantly.

"Oh I see he wants to be a hero. Well anyways this isn't an ordinary creature." The old man said.

"Okay. What's it called?" Red asked.

"Oh that let me think for a second." The old man said looking at the ceiling. "I'm not.. hmmm."

Green rolled his eyes in annoyance.

"Maybe it was a uh." The old man said to himself.

Barney started awkwardly looking around the room.

"Hmm no that's not it. Hmm" the old man continued.

"Maybe if you show us the book you read last night we can figure it out the monsters name." Red said.

The old man looked at the boys and raised his pointer finger. "I've just had the best -cough- idea. Why don't I just show you the book I was reading last night and you can figure out the creatures name! I'm brilliant!" He said.

Red gave a an unimpressed look. "That's literally what I just said." Red replied.

"No it's -cough- you said monster I said creature. See compelelty different idea." The old man said.

"Whatever. Just show us the book please." Red said.

The old man motioned for the three kids to follow him. He walked over to the floor and picked up a book. Dusting it off a bit. "I started reading this one last night and that thing just came out at me. Couldn't even get to page four. I was really enjoying that book." He said.

Red picked up and the book and examined it. It was titled "The Wraith." Barney looked frightened.

"Wraith that's what it's name was. -cough- Well you three have fun capturing it." He said shooing them along.

Later the three went outside Barney's eye was wide with fear.

"Well that just happened." Green said.

"The old man says we need to capture something called a Wraith." Red said as he noticed Barney. "Barney are you okay?" He asked.

"Guys I've heards of the wraiths. They says legends of its in mys village. They says that the wraiths is a ghosts of a sorcerers or sorceresss that dies. And then they comes back as a evils spirit." Barney said.

"So an evil sorcerer turned into a ghost?" Green asked.

"Well nots exacltys. When the sorcerers or sorceresss dies they becomes a wraiths. A wraiths is evils. The sorcerer or sorceress isn't always evils." Barney said.

Red was looking distressed about something. "And hear I thought ghosts didn't exist. Or magic. This ruins all of my thoughts on the world. I was always a man of science. A man of logic, but now I'm not sure how I feel." Red said. Green made an are you serious right now face.

"Seriously a man of science? You do realize we hunt monsters that come from magical books that an old man reads right?" Green asks.

"Yes. I believed that science could answer any question. Ghosts are not apart of science. They go against the very laws of nature." Red said screaming in agony.

"We go against the very laws of nature." Green said.

"I know. I just ah!" Red said.

"Anyways Barney you were saying something about Wraiths being evil?" Green asked.

"Yep totally evils." Barney said.

"Do you know how to capture one or how to get it back in the book?" Green asked.

"Nopes." Barney replied.

Green sighed. "To the library I guess then." He said grabbing Red by the shoulders and shaking him till he snapped out of it.

The three of them approached the library to look for a book on Wraiths.

"Hey Miss Sinclair." Green said approaching the library desk. Green, Barney, and Red became regulars at the library since they often had to check out books on supernatural creatures.

"Oh hello Green, what kind of spooky tales are you looking for today?" She asked.

"We're looking for a book on Wraiths. Do you have any?" Red asked.

"Hmm. Wraiths I'll have to check the computer." Miss Sinclair said. She started typing away on an old computer searching. "We do seem to have one book on Wraiths." She said.

"Great. Can you tell us where it is?" Red asked.

"It's in row W filed under Wraiths and All About Them." She said.

"Thanks yous." Barney said.

The three boys walked all the way down to the row marked W to find the book on Wraiths. When they pulled it out it was covered in dust. Clearly no one had checked this book out in a long time. They wiped the dust off of it. Coughing as the dust came off.

"How long has this been here?" Red asked coughing.

"Probably since the library opened." Green said as he coughed.

After the dust was gone and their coughing fits stopped Red opened the book up. He looked through the index page to see if he could find any helpful chapters.

And a bunch of other pages that didn't really look helpful. "This book is a waste of time." Green said. Red's eyes saw a that might be useful.

709-713 What Attracts a Wraith

Red turned to page 709 and began reading. Blah blah blah blah. Dead sorcerer or sorceress. Yah Barney already told them about that. Hmm this looked interesting.

"Guys it says here a Wraith is attracted to a special symbol that generally looks like a coin. Whoever is holding or carrying the "coin" will be attacked by the Wraith who is trying to killing that person so they can come back to life." Red eyes went in shock as he looked at the picture on 710 that showed a "coin" with strange markings that looked like the one Yellow had found earlier.

Red showed them the picture and Green's eyes went wide as well. Barney looked confused. "What's is wrong?" He asked.

"Our brother Yellow found something that looks just like that." Green said. Barney's eye was shocked as well.

"We need to find Yellow before it's too late. Barney you tell Miss Sinclair we had to check the book out tell her it's an emergency." Red said grabbing the book as he and Green ran in the direction of their house.

Barney ran up the the librarian.

Timeskip

Purple was down in Red and his lab along with Yellow. Computers and various machines working hard to solve what Yellow's "coin" was. Purple of course was busy with work and in his "thinking stage"

"Hmm." Purple said.

Yellow looked up.

"Hmm." Purple said a bit louder.

Yellow looked at him.

"HMM! Purple said with frustration. Yellow flinched seeing how angry he was. "Nothing I do works!" Purple yelled.

"Hey Purple. Calm down there's no reason to be angry. Try and be positive. No negativity allowed." Yellow said.

"Electron." Purple said with a smirk. Yellow looked annoyed at first and made this -_- face, but then smiled seeing that it managed to calm Purple down.

"I don't care that you said that. I'm just glad that your smiling now." Yellow said happily.

Just then a strange hiss like sound filled the outside. "Did yo just hear that?" Purple asked. Yellow had a nervous smile on his face.

"Yeah. It sounds kind of spooky." Yellow said.

"What do you thi..." Purple said as he got cut off by a strange floating creature. The creature wore mostly black with a hood. It looked ghostly.

Purple jumped back. "What the heck is that thing?" Yellow asked.

"Heck. I think that's exactly what it is!" Purple said.

The creature let out a loud hiss like roar and started charging right at Purple who was holding the coin. As the creature flew forward glass was knocked on the ground and broke. Yellow managed to push Purple out of the way on time. As Purple started panting. "Are you okay?" Yellow asked. Purple nodded out of breathe. Yellow locked eyes with the creature. The creature charged at Purple again breaking more equipment. Yellow grabbed Purple and ran to the other side of the garage fast. Purple looked for something to use as a weapon. He saw a lighter and turned it on waving it in the creatures face. The creature started hissing in irritation it appeared to not like the fire that much. Yellow seeing what Purple was doing grabbed a box of matches and lit one waving it in front of the creature. The creature kept backing away. "Take that meanie!" Yellow said.

The creature was soon left with no option but to fly or the window and leave. After the creature left Purple and Yellow looked at each other. "Why did that thing attack us?" Yellow asked.

"I don't know." Purple replied.

Just then Red and Green ran in. Barney out of breathe ran in shortly after. "What just happened?" Red asked. As they saw all the broken glass and lab equipment.

"Yellow, and I were attacked by this ghostly figure." Purple said setting the coin on the table. Welp. They were too late. Luckily it seemed no one was harmed.

"Ghostlys figure?" Barney asked playing dumb.

"Yeah. It looked like a ghost it started hissing at us, and only left once we attacked if with fire." Yellow said. Fire? Hmm could that possibly help get rid of the creature?

Red noticed the coin and slyly picked up placing it in his pocket when Yellow and Purple weren't paying attention. Green started picking up the matches figuring it might useful.

"Do you have any idea what is was?" Yellow asked.

"We didn't see it." Red said. It wasn't a lie they didn't see the Wraith. It could have been something else. So was it really a lie? Yes. Yes it was, but Red needed to believe lying was the right thing to do. Besides if he told his siblings they'd hate him, or they'd try to "help."

"I think we should all get out here. Whatever it was might attack again." Green said. The others nodded in agreement and walked out of the lab.

"I suppose I can't really be skeptical of parnaormal activity anymore can I?" Purple asked. Yellow laughed.

Once outside their mom came out and checked Purple and Yellow over any kind of injuries. Red, Green, and Barney saw that as their chance to escape.

"We need to form a plan." Red said once they were away from their house.

"Like what?" Green asked.

"If we're gonna catch this thing. We need more supplies. Green you should get us as much fire as possible. Barney you get us some snacks, and I'll take a look at this book and see if I can find any other useful info. We'll meet in the first in two hours." Red said.

"Great Red gives all the orders again." Green said.

"I haven't seen you give any." Red said.

"Oohs. He's gots yous there." Barney said. Green shot Barney a look and Barney remained quiet.

The three of them split up.

Time skip

Red, Green, and Barney were on a stakeout for the Wraith and of course BARNEY forgot to bring food. Green, and Red were extremely annoyed and unimpressed with their friends forgetfulness.

"Guys I'm hungrys." Barney said as his stomach rumbled.

"Well whose fault is that?" Green asked in annoyance. Barney remained quiet for a minute.

"What's are Wes going to does we haves no foods?" Barney asked as his stomach rumbled again.

"Guess we'll just have to eat someone." Red said as he smiled showing off his fangs.

Barney's eye went wide. And Green looked slightly unsettled as well. Red stopped. "Guys come on you know I'd never go cannibal. Not now not ever. Not even in another universe." Red said.

Barney still looked a little shooked up. "What's if it's another universes with zombies. Then woulds yous eats peoples?" He asked.

"What? No never, not even in a zombie apocalypse." Red said.

"Sometimes tells mes to not believes yous." Barney said still a bit unsettled by Red's "joke" of cannibalism.

"Whatever. We need to focus on hunting this thing." Red said.

"You have the coin right?" Green asked. Red pulled it out his pocket.

"You broughts the coins?" Barney asked feeling freighted.

"Well yeah how else or we going to capture that thing?" Red asked. Barney knew Red was right he just didn't want to have to be around a Wraith.

"Red did you find anything interesting about the Wraith?" Green asked.

"Nothing that would be very helpful." Red replied.

"Oh." Green replied.

Awkward silence for a bit.

"What do you guys want to do to pass the time?" Red asked breaking the silence.

"We could play Would you Rather." Green suggested.

"Okays I'll goes first. Red's Would yous rather be trapped in a hotels for 20s years or be housemates with threes idiots?" Barney asked.

"This are some odd questions, but I think I'd choose the hotel. I could get a lot of work there. Having three stupid roommates would easily get on my nerves. Okay Green would you rather have to marry a goat or have to fight a bunch of squids?" Red asked.

Barney whispered. "Marry the goats. Squids are weirds."

Green whispered back. "your weird."

"I'd fight the squids. I mean come on there just fish they can't do anything right?" Green asked.

"Okay Barney. Would you rather be trapped in a maze and have to try and escape or be stranded on island any have everyone find out your a pirate?" Green asked.

Barney started thinking. "Hmm maybes bes on the islands. Cause thens if I pirates I could maybes gets us off islands." Barney said.

"I feel like some of these things could actually happen to us or they'd happen in a different universe." Green said. Red and Barney nodded. It was strange how they all thought these could be realistic things.

Just then thy heard it. That creepy hiss sound of the Wraith. They looked all around for it. Then they saw it up near the trees. It glared at them. Then started swooping down gaining speed quickly. "Oh crap. It's coming man!" Green screamed reaching for the torches. Red and Barney started running around in circles to try and confuse the Wraith.

"Hey Red's lets plays keeps away!" Barney said. Red nodded and threw the coin to Barney right as the Wraith came in to catch Red. The Wraith almost looked confused where did the coin go?

"Hey uglys!" Barney called holding out the coin. The Wraith hissed in annoyance, outraged that it had been deceived.

Barney and Red kept tossing the coin back and forth as the Wraith started flying around in circles trying to get the coin.

"It's keep away from The Wraith." Red cried out laughing.

"Sorrys yous so slow. You slower than the snails." Barney said.

"Oh Wraith over here! I've got your precious jewel!" Red cried out.

Barney stuck his tongue out at the Wraith.

"Bet you can't catch us!" Red taunted as he and Barney ran.

Barney and Red continued running until they both found a good tree to use to hide from the Wraith. They both stayed on the other side of it. The Wraith looked around scratching it's head in confusion. Barney and Red tried to suppress their giggles. Eventually the Wraith heard them and flew toward the sound. Barney and Red looked up and there it was.

"AHHHHH!" They both screamed. The Wraith gave a heartfelt smile it seemed to be proud of itself for catching them. Just as the Wraith lunged for the two boys Green jumped in with the torches.

"Take that you witch!" Green yelled. The Wraith looked slightly offended. "Well you are a wizard you know." Green said. The Wraith nodded it's head and then hissed at the fire. Green, Red, and Barney decided to run.

"Great timing Green." Red said with legitimate appreciation in his voice.

"Yeahs yous really saved us from that thing." Barney said.

"Your welcome, but more running less talking." Green said.

As they ran Red who was carrying the coin tripped. Red backed away as the Wraith descended. This was the end? The Wraith failed to notice that a boulder was right next to the coin. As the Wraith continued on the giant boulder fell onto the rock. "Crunch" The three boys looked at the Wraith. The Wraith moved the boulder and noticed the broken coin.

The Wraith started transforming. A blinding light shone through the room causing Red, Green, and Barney to shield their eyes. Once the light disappeared a boy stood there. He had brown hair and was wearing a black and purple cloak. He looked like some kind of wizard from a fantasy movie.

"I'm so sorry for attacking you all." The boy said pausing a moment to look everyone in the eyes and apologize. "I truly am. My name is Seto I'm a sorcerer." Seto said.

"Yours names is Seto?" Barney asked.

"Yes. I literally just told you that." Seto said. Green gave Barney an "are you stupid look" and Barney awkwardly looked at the ground.

"So how did you die?" Red asked.

"It was a very powerful curse that poisoned me. I wasn't able to use my magic to save myself from dying. When the coin broke it appeared to have broken my curse." Seto said. Everyone looked shocked. Someone poisoned him?

"What why?" Red asked.

"Well I was poisoned for two reasons. One because I posed a threat and two because I could be used to attack people." Seto said shuddering.

"Who did that's?" Barney asked.

"That's Unimportant. I need to get back to my dimension." He said.

"Whats why?" Barney asked.

"There's some things I need to take care of. I really don't have the time to explain. Do any of you know a way back?" Seto asked. His voice was filled with urgency.

"Well there's this black whole that's a portal to another world. Would that be useful?" Red asked.

"Yes, it would thank you. A portal is just what I needed I could use my magic to make it access my world." Seto said.

The three boys led Seto back to the Old Man's house down to a dark basement. Inside was a small blackhole like portal that led to another dimension. Seto smiled upon seeing it.

"This will work perfectly. I just need to make sure I can get the portal to work." Seto said. He opened up a book that hanged from his cloak and started reading some of the pages. He quickly started doing some magic related stuff as a purplish misty glow radiated from his hands.

"How did you end up inside the book?" Green asked.

"I'm glad you asked. You see the magical books are actually based off of things that have happened. A great sorcerer ended up creating the books to trap dangerous and evil creatures inside of it. Seto said.

"Let me guess your that sorcerer." Red questioned.

"Indeed." Seto replied.

"And you got trapped in your book when you became a Wraith." Red said.

"Two for two." Seto replied. Red smiled proudly he liked being smart.

"I need you all to promise me one thing. Destroy this portal as soon as I enter in and disappear." Seto said. The look in his eyes was serious and tense. He wasn't messing around this portal had to be destroyed. The question is why?

"Whys?" Barney asked.

"Because I need to make sure nothing escapes. There are creatures that I haven't been able to trap in my magic books. Somehow the books ended up here, but please it's just better to not talk about it." Seto said. Red was extremely concerned with how Seto possessed magical abilities. It reminded Red of his own siblings powers and questioning how Seto knew magic might expand Red's knowledge of magic.

"How are you a sorcerer?" Red asked.

"My birth parents both possessed great magical abilities. That I ended up inheriting. Both of my parents were killed when I was a small child, because they were very powerful. I grew up in an orphanage and discovered as a small child that I had strange abilities. I grew up trying to hide my powers, but as I got older I heard more and more about a great evil destroying all the lands." Seto said sadly.

Before anyone had any time to question Seto further Seto turned to see his portal was ready and running. He walked over towards it. Before he got in he turned to look at the boys one last time.

"Thanks for all that you've done, but I need to get back to my land. Seto said.

"Maybes some day wells be a teams with yous. We coulds crafts stuff." Barney said.

"Maybe, but I don't think you'd be apart of it. You'd be doing your own thing." Seto said.

"A great evil?" Red asked.

"Yes. His name is her..." Seto couldn't continue his sentence as he was sucked into the portal. In a moment Seto was there no longer, leaving the three boys standing there alone.

Green and Barney got to work on disabling the portal as soon as Seto vanished. Red stood in shock for a minute he didn't expect Seto to disappear that quickly, and he was slightly concerned with Seto's urge to quickly return home. Seto mentioned other creatures and a great evil. He clearly didn't want them to come to this "world." Green and Barney quickly got to work on destroying the portal while Red tried to process everything that just happened. "Seriously Red. Making us do all the work, just like the Old Man." Green said. That snapped Red out of his thoughts.

"Sorry. I was just thinking about what Seto said and this "great evil." Red said as he walked over to help deactivate the portal.

"Whatever. It's nothing. The portal is going to be destroyed and then nothing can come through." Green said.

After a few minutes disabling Seto's portal Red, Green, and Barney stood in front of it.

"Should wes tell the Old Mans?" Barney asked.

"Probably doesn't matter what we tell him. I mean we've literally tried to get him to read any other books, but no he has to read the "cursed" books with magical creatures in him." Green said.

"Wells if that's the case. Wes should just goes." Barney said. Green nodded and walked out with Barney. Red stood still for a minute, but soon joined them and ascended the stairs.

Great evil? Who could this great evil be?

(I'm going off the interpretations of a Wraith being e ghost of a sorcerer and also trying to kill who ever possesses the "coin" like symbol)

(And that's this chapter. I've been working on it for a bit so hopefully it made sense, again sorry for so many references)
