The funeral

(Make sure you've read all the previous chapters before this one. Those who do not read the previous chapters will be turned into frogs or worse they won't know what's going on with the story)

"Red w..we have a problem." A voice said.

Red stood up and looked into the eyes of his mother. She had fear in her eyes.

"What's wrong?" Red asked. Well basically everything's wrong Red.

"Gray isn't here. She can't be found anywhere." His mom said, she moved her head and noticed Orange wasn't in the room. "And where's Orange?" She asked.

"H..he's gone. Mom he left. Orange decided to run away fearing Purple would escape his "prison" Red said.

Red's mom put her hands on her face and silently cried. She lost four children in a day. One died me one killed the other one, one ran away, and one was no where to be found.

"We...we need to find Orange. Talk some sense into maybes he's not too far away." Red said. His mother nodded.

-Timeskip of a few days-

The following few days were horrid for the family trying to deal with the loss of Magenta and trying to find their two missing siblings.

Everyone was called to look for Orange and Gray. To see where they went. They called neighbors, teachers, "friends", family everyone they could think of to find Orange, but like a theif in the night they both vanished. Neither of them could be found.

"Should we go to the police with this? Do you think they'll return home? Neither of them are answering their cell phones, worse is Orange must've destroyed his because it keeps saying that his number doesn't exist." Red said.

"We've spent days looking for the two of them and whenever we try to force answers out about where Gray and Orange went Purple refuses to answer!" Pink said with a hint of rage in her voice. "Why can't we just beat the answers out of him?" Pink demanded. No one blamed Pink fr wanting to hurt Purple. Pretty much everyone at one point these past few days wanted to hurt him.

"We don't even know, if Purple knows anything about his where abouts." Their mother said.

Yellow and Blue both remained silent they didn't say much of anything.

"It might be time to accept their gone.. We've called authorities and they said they're looking for them." Their mom said.

There was nothing, no evidence or any leads to where the missing siblings could be. It was time to try and plan the funeral. They'd need to burry Magenta's body keeping a corpse in the basement is well you know....

Pink got angry and stormed downstairs to the basement.

"If you're lying I'll personally kill you myself!" Pink yelled at Purple's cage.

Purple sat up a smirk on his lips. "I tell you I truly do not know of the where abouts of Orange or Gray." Purple said.

"I'll I'll stab you if we find out otherwise!" Pink said.

"Knives can't kill me. I'm more powerful than you think." Purple said.

Red came running downstairs. "Pink don't! We all hate Purple. We all want him to die. There's no point in trying to attack him!" Let's go upstairs." Red said as he placed a hand on Pink's shoulder. Pink allowed Red to take her back up stairs. Pink looked back at Purple doing a "slit the throat motion" to which Purple smiled and waved back at her delighted that Pink was so agressive towards him.

-Timeskip-

It was early morning and the clouds covered the sun making the sky white with gray clouds. It wasn't rainin though which is odd because it TV and movies it always rains at funerals. Magenta's body was covered in flowers that were picked from the Vacktors garden. Magenta was wearing a flower crown that Yellow made for her. Yellow during the past few days was silent unable to speak and constantly making flower crowns to help cope. He also tried braiding flowers into his hair which didn't work well since it was short. Everyone stood around wearing black clothes since it was a funeral. Yellow kept messing around with the flowers in his hands and uncomfortably messing around with his shirt since he didn't like dressing up in fancy clothes. Everyone was also wearing a flower crown to honor Magenta since she loved flowers so much. Magenta's body was pale and lifeless, but very beautiful just like she was. The leaves and wines that grew on her arms and legs were starting to turn brown from Magenta being lifeless.

Barney wasn't present at the funeral as they had been too busy trying to locate Gray and Orange to tell him the tragic news of her passing. They also figured it would be better if it was just the family at the funeral. The only people who were invited were Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Pink, their mother, their grandma, and grandpa. That was it.

"Dearly beloved we are gathered here today in loving memory of Magenta Peony Vacktor. Our family who was taken before her time in rage and blood lust. I would like to allow anyone who wants to say some words about her to come up and say them." The Vacktors mother said.

Yellow gulped and stepped up deciding to be brave. It was surprising since Yellow seemed to be taking the death of Magenta the least well. "Maggie. Maggie was my sister. A uh good sister. She was pretty, smart, she liked it when I hugged her and she always hugged me back and she had great smiles which I liked cause I like smiles. And I uh miss her and really love her. She was the best." Yellow said very quickly with a nervous tone in his voice. They could hear what Yellow was saying though and knew he got nervous about explaining his emotions. Yellow smiled nervously and walked back to where he was standing. There was more that Yellow wished he could've said, but he was way too shy and uncomfortable with saying his true feelings. Besides he didn't know how to say what he felt.

Green decided he needed to say something. If Yellow was brave enough to say something and talk about sadness Green needed to say something. "Magenta was honestly one of the greatest people I've ever met. She was a ray of sunshine on a stormy day someone who always helped others and tried to make peace. She's someone that I wish I could be like someday. Someone who always made people feel like they belonged and they were loved. And she will be dearly missed by everyone." Green said.

Pink was next. "Magenta was my sister and though we didn't always see eye to eye I loved her and I wish I had the chance to tell her that since I never really did. She was a wonderful person who I hope that I can continue on her legacy of helping others. No one really knew this, but Magenta spent time helping soup kitchens, and orphanages. She organized beach clean ups and visited retirement homes to see old folks whose families wouldn't visit them. She donated at least half of all her money to charities never asking for anything in return. There are many other wonderful things Magenta did, and yet she never bragged once about any of her good deeds or how much she helped people. She was an amazing person and this crummy world never deserved her." Pink said.

Blue shyly stood there listening to everyone. He kinda wanted to say something. And he nervously stared at the ground the entire time he spoke. "M..magenta was really awesome and sweet. She always tried to help me. Especially w..when people were mean to me and stuff. I really miss and loved her." Blue replied. He shook with fear the entire time he spoke and felt embarrassed for not saying much.

Red was too overcome with emotions to speak and he felt guilty for not doing so. It was very hard for everyone to put their feelings and thoughts into words. Funerals were never pleasant for anyone.

No one else said anything. Their mother and grandparents didn't know what to say without getting emotional. And getting emotional in front of the children is not a good idea. They needed to be strong for the three children.

"I guess that concludes the funeral." Their mother said. Everyone gathered around to say their last goodbyes to Magenta.

Magenta's ghost stood there watching everyone place flowers on Magenta's casket. She remained motionless watching her body get buried into their backyard. She stood their as lifeless as her body was. Just watching....

The tomb stone read.

Beloved sister

Magenta Peony Vacktor

May 27 1995- May 27 2012

The following few days consisted of everyone continuing to listen to the police say Orange and Gray could not be found. Everyone considered holding a funeral for Gray, but their mother still hoped her child would return home.

Red laid awake motionless at night dreaming of Magenta still being here. Wild thoughts and fantasies filled his mind, ideas of bringing her back to life kept dancing through his head....

(Trying to write funerals is very hard and kind of sad)
