(In this chapter they are about 11ish years old)

Third person POV

After the craziness from Yellow being struck by the sun died down the Vacktor siblings decided to take a nice trip to the aquarium. They managed to convince their mom that they needed a day away from the craziness of their lives. For three reasons. One the aquarium would be a nice place to chill for awhile and learn about marine life. Two their teacher said that if anyone goes to the aquarium and does a project on what they learned they'd receive extra credit so that was an added bonus. Three Red and Purple both wanted to become scientist someday like their mother, and marine biology is a science so maybe this trip would help them find a type of science they'd like to pursue.

"Oh my goodness you've been in there for an hour!" Green complained in annoyance.

"Well I'm getting dressed." Pink said.

"Why don't you get dressed in your room?" Purple asked impatiently.

"Yah I'm not in there anymore." Magenta said.

"Because my bedroom doesn't have a mirror and I after I find the right outfit I need to straighten my hair." Pink replied from the other side of the door.

"We're going to the aquarium. You don't need to dress to impress." Green replied.

"You never know if a cute boy is going to be there." Pink replied.

"Seriously? And how much longer is that gonna take?" Orange asked.

"I don't know." Pink replied.

"Come on Pink I need to use the bathroom." Blue whined.

"I'll be out in a bit." She replied. "Oh maybe I should paint my nails." Pink said musing to herself.

"At this point I bet your doing it just to annoy us." Green said.

"No I really just need to make sure I look good." She said.

"Well if you keep this up we'll just leave you." Red replied.

"No you won't." Pink replied back.

Gray clearly getting annoyed with Pink bandaged on the door and asked. "Pink are you coming or not?"

"Oh I don't know." Pink said looking at the mirror and smiling to herself.

Just then Yellow ran into the hall. "What's the hold up?" He asked.

"Miss Diva's in there doing her makeup so she can meet the Queen of England." Green replied sarcastically.

"I'm not a diva and you never know maybe we will see the queen." Pink said.

"Why would the queen come all the way to America and go visit an aquarium." Green said glaring.

"I don't know." Pink said.

"Come on Pink... I need to use the bathroom." Blue said knocking on the door.

Pink opened the door up and walked out. "Ugh fine. Your constant talking is making it hard to concentrate on finding the right lip gloss." She said.

"Does that mean we can FINALLY go?" Orange asked.

"Yes." Pink replied.

(Pink is going through a bratty stage a couple years early of being a teenager)

After the whole diva Pink thing happened the Vacktor's arrived at the aquarium

"Do.. do you think they have penguins here? I really want to see a penguin!" Yellow asked enthusiastically.

"I'm not sure let me check the map." Purple replied pulling it out. While Purple checked the map Yellow made his way over to Blue who was hiding behind Green and Orange.

"Hey hey hey Blue!" He said happily greeting his brother.

"Yellow stop being so loud... and uh bouncy people are gonna look at.. us." Blue replied uncomfortable with all the weird looks he was receiving.

"What? I just wanted to know what animals you were looking forward to seeing?" Yellow asked legitimately interested in Blue's answer.

"Yellow... st... stop it.. people already think we're freaks and you.. you being all hyper is gonna make it worse." Blue said trying to hide from the people looking at him. There wasn't really anywhere the Vacktors could go without people looking at them they were an odd an colorful bunch.

Yellow looked around noticing all the people and finally understanding that Blue was uncomfortable with being looked at and that his hyperness may be the cause of this unwanted attention.

"Oh I'm sorry. I just wanted to have fun,I just wanted to know what animals you were hoping to see." Yellow said with a nervous and apologetic smile. Blue realized that he may have unintentionally hurt Yellow. He knew that Yellow was trying to get control of his new powers and energy levels. He knew Yellow was a robot and didn't always understand things.

"I didn't mean it like that or anything, you should just talk quieter. And I um want to see the seals. I like it when they balance a ball on their nose." Blue replied sounding a bit happier at the thought of seals.

"Oh yah I love it when they do that. It's probably really really hard to have a ball balance on top your nose, but somehow they do it. Hopefully we'll see some today." Yellow replied feeling better.

"Okay yes they have penguins here." Purple said. He noticed Yellow's face light up and added. "However, we are going to go visit each animal in order of what is closest to us. The first ones on the list are various types of rays. You know like Manta Rays, Stingrays etc.." Purple said.

"Cool. I like how they swim it's so majestic." Yellow said.

The Vacktors walked around visiting various types of sea creatures.

"This is a horseshoe crab they have blue colored blood like you Blue." Purple said reading a plague about the horseshoe crabs. (Magenta's blood was kinda purplish pink so I figured maybe they have blood the color of their names)

"Oh that's kinda cool." Blue replied.

"Because horseshoe crabs don't have hemoglobin and instead have hemocyanin which contains copper their blood is blue." Purple said.

"They use their blood to detect bacterial endotoxins for medical purposes." Yellow said.

"Hey. I'm the one that's suppose to be reading the facts here." Purple said.

"Sorry. I know how much you love playing the "wise one." Yellow said.

"Yellow don't bring up the symbols again, and what mom thinks we're suppose to be." Red said.

"Sorry, but you know there is some truth to them." Yellow said.

"Yeah sure whatever let's just move on to the next creature." Red replied.

The next tank that they came up to was the sharks.

"Oh look finally a creature that Gray can get along with." Yellow said laughing.

Gray approached Yellow cocking an eyebrow. "So. You think I'm like a shark do you? What about me is shark like." Gray asked curious.

"The uh fact that you scare people. You just um sneak up on people like Jaws." Yellow said.

"I thought you were going to comment on my tracking skills, my fierceness, my willingness to investigate something,my intelligence or my thirst for blood." Gray said. Everyone looked slightly scared of Gray's remark.

"Um." Orange said slightly freighted by that last part.

"That last part was a joke." Gray replied. Orange breathed a sigh of relief before continuing to say. "Besides I don't like blood I always go for the souls." Gray replied walking off with a smirk.

They continued on looking at various other animals, as they tried to get over Gray's comment back at the shark tank. They were busy looking at an octopus when Red said. "Hey guys I'll catch up later I'm gonna use the restroom." Red said walking off towards the bathroom.

Red's POV

After leaving the bathroom I noticed one of my shoes was untied and walked over to a tank to get out of people's way and tie it.

Over to the side of me was a young boy around the same age that I am. He appears to be entranced by one of the tanks.

Suddenly I hear him shout. "No... no... you can't!" I turn to look at him. "You're... evil? You can't... do... do that!" He says. Is he talking to the sea creatures. I take a quick glance at the tank that he's looking at. It's just a normal standard tank with a couple of fish and a squid inside of it. Is he crazy or am I missing something? Against my better judgment I go over to talk to him.

"Um excuse me are you okay?" I ask him. Why'd I ask him that now I'm gonna get into some conversation with a weirdo.

He turns to look at me mouth wide with shock and fear. "Did... did you hear what he said?" He asks me.

"What who said?" I ask giving him a peculiar look while taking a step back. If he really was just talking to the fish then I need to keep my distance in case he tries to do something weird.

"HIM!" He says pointing to the tank full of fish. I slowly shift my eyes over to the tank. Oh my goodness he is deranged. He actually thinks fish can talk.

"You.. you mean the fish?" I ask in fear and utter disbelief.

"No. Not the fish. The squid. Did you not just hear what he said?" He asks me looking at me like I'm crazy. Woah he thinks I'm the crazy one? Hold up he's talking to a squid and I'm crazy?

I decide it's best not to irritate him or mock him so I decide to try and play it safe. "Um uh no."

"Well. Dear boy. Let me tell you something about that squid he's evil apparently. He says that he and the other squids are going to take over the world. And it's my destiny to prevent that from ever happening. It's a great duty that I must take to keep our world safe and protected but I will do so!" He said the last part looking up at the ceiling as if a bright light came down and shone upon him as the "chosen one"

I just look at him. He reaches in to his pocket and I back up. Is he gonna pull some knife one me or something. My eyes must be wide with fear right now, but to my surprise he pulls out a piece of gold. "Use this to protect yourself my friend." He says handing me the gold. "I believe it will protect you from the evil ones." He says.

What kind of kid carries around gold bars in his pockets. This dude must be loaded and insane.

"Where did you get all this gold? You didn't steal it did you?" I ask him.

He looks at me confused. "What are you talking about this isn't gold. I don't even know what gold is. And besides I didn't steal it I inherited it." He tells me.

Yep. He's lost it. Not even sure if he ever had at in the first place. What does he mean it isn't gold? Is it some sort of fake? Or is just being crazy again? And what kind of person doesn't know what gold is? Before I can ask him what it is I finally get saved from this maniac when I hear a voice call out to me.

"Hey bro come over here!" Yellow calls to me from the other side of the hallway.

"Sorry I have to go my brother needs me." I say quickly excusing myself.

"Alright well take it with you to be safe. And make sure you tell your brother so they don't get him as well." He says. He hands me the "gold" if it even is gold. "Right.. right um thank you." At that moment I hightail it out of there and run across the aquarium and give my brother a big hug.

"Thank you so much Yellow." I tell him. He looks sort of nervous and slightly confused. Mostly because I'm hugging him like he just saved my life and he possibly could have. That and I'm not much of a hugger.

"For what?" He asks me.

"Saving me from this crazy guy who tried to convince me that squids were evil." I say.

"What man that's crazy." Green says. I nod my head to agree Green. He's right. And boy do I hope I hope I never befriend someone as crazy as that guy.

It's then that Yellow's yellow eyes grow wide. "Hey what's that? Is this gold?" He says looking at it suspicious.

"I uh think so. That boy over there the one who thought squids could talk gave it to me so I could "protect myself" or something like that." I say trying to think back to all the nonsense that he just said to me.

"I don't think you should have gold like that it could be dangerous." Pink states. And she's probably right. I don't even know that kid. His craziness could be some big scam to get a fool like me in jail from stealing from someone or something.

"Yah, but I don't even know if it's gold. He told me he had never even heard of the stuff." I say.

"I mean I don't get out much, but even I know what gold is." Blue says looking up sadly.

"You should keep it." Purple tells me. "If you get caught just play innocent and stupid. I mean it probably doesn't hurt to hold onto it, it might not even be worth that much." He tells me as he reaches his hand out to examine it.

"It looks real though." Gray adds in looking at it along with Purple.

"I think I'm gonna keep it." I say putting it in my pocket. Besides it might be nice to use this in an invention of mine someday, and having gold could be fun. Show this off to the kids at school."Wish I had more of it though. Like a giant machine that could turn boring stuff into gold." I say.

"We'd be pretty rich." Green says with a smirk.

"Well we could always look up the price of the gold later on." I say.

I turn over to look at Yellow whose bouncing up and down waiting to see the penguins. "Come on Yellow lets go visit the penguins." I say.

"YEEESS! Finally penguins here I come!" He says taking a small leap in the air.

As I turn to once again pass the by the tank with the squid in it I get a strange feeling that's it's watching me or something. It's probably just because that weird kid's crazy story getting into my head or something, so I decide to shake it off.
