; growing quiet.

Raph's POV;
The day had come along for me and Leo. We both agreed that we had to run away from Splinter and everyone. Although we didn't know where we would stay, we weren't gonna stay in that judging shit hole one more day.

Leo packed up his stuff and as did I, so we left at sometime around midnight.

Leo was silent the whole time that we were escaping home. He never spoke one word until we got to the hotel room I reserved online. The hotel was called Room Mate Grace Hotel, and the price was quite cheap for everything that came along with it, so I bought a room for two.

The lady at the check-in was very quick to give us our keys and we headed towards our room. "Room 145, alright." I spoke to myself. Leo still hadn't said anything, and in conclusion, I sighed. "Are you feeling alright, Leo?" I asked him. He nodded and showed a gentle smile.

A few days passed by, and we took our leave of the hotel. "Thanks again for coming!" The enthusiastic check in lady said. I smiled and headed out the exit door with Leo by my side. He wasn't speaking because apparently he still felt guilty and sad, so I guess it was understandable.

We headed home since we had nowhere else to go. My plan to escape with Leo forever failed, ultimately. I know Leo didn't want to go home because he was scared that Splinter might do something to him, I thought to myself. The way home, Leo was a little bit less quiet, but definitely didn't speak much.

"Leonardo! Raphael! Where have you two been?" Splinter questioned us as we arrived to our old sewer home. I gently nudged him on the side so he would snap out of his trance, and he did. "We were just ... err, checking out New York." He answered. Splinter had a mad face and he redirected it towards me. "Raphael. Follow me at once." He said in a yelling tone.

Boy, was I in trouble.

"I can't believe you ran away without telling me, Raphael!" He lectured. He had been yelling and reprimanding me for the past hour or so. I was sick of it already, so I stood up and left. "Sorry, Sensei. It isn't my fault that you can't accept me and Leo's relationship. Please, lecture yourself because you can't accept your two sons for being homosexuals." I said, walking out of the dojo.
