- bad at love.
[ Continuing this story here since the second book has a different plot and storyline now! Hope you guys enjoy. ]
Leonardo's POV:
I woke up to an empty bed, Raphael seemed to have gone for a morning jog, or something related to that, I guess.
I went to the kitchen and cooked myself some bacon and eggs, praying by the time I finished eating that Raph would be back. But, I did not rush. Somehow, I found comfort in being alone for a few minutes. I liked it.
"I'm home!" Raph's voice bellowed sweetly throughout the house.
I found myself sighing involuntarily, but plastered a smile on my face just so he wouldn't worry.
I hoped our marriage hadn't fallen apart.
Raphael's POV:
When I stepped foot into our house, the breeze carried a slight smell of bacon and eggs, and I was pleasantly surprised. Leo doesn't usually cook unhealthy foods. I shrugged it off since it really wasn't that deep.
"How are ya, love?" I said, sitting down across from him on our dining table. His smile didn't seem genuine, so I thought I'd ask him. "Nothing's wrong. Why would you think that?" He said, his tone seemed off and he tilted his head. I shrugged, "I don't know..you just seemed off." I continued. Leo seemed to be offended, his brow furrowed up.
I think I fucked up.
Leo scoffed and stood up from the dining table and headed into our room, slamming the door.
What had got him into such a shitty attitude? Did I do something wrong?
