Priya's POV

A few weeks passed like hours... After coming to know about him... I started falling more for him. The way he cares for me, the way he talks about his family, the way he looks at me with such care and genuine love, his honesty, his cuteness, his eyes, his smile, his everything is making me fall hard for him.

     In these few days, he has only talked about two things so much. His family especially Lakshmi ma and his job. He loves his job. According to him, it's his first love. I adore him so much for that.

     According to everyone, he is a sincere policeman, who is also a super-duper introvert. But, I got to see his other side. His cute side, which is exclusive only for me. His caring side, which can only be seen by his close ones.  And coming to his romantic side, en alavuku illa naalum paravala🤭. 

      He does not only care for me, he also takes care of my family as his own. Isn't it every girl's dream to get a boy like this? I'm so lucky in that way. I have got a gem of a person. I also got an amazing family with a sweet mother in law, a funny father in law and a cute and naughty sister in law. 

    Even though I don't know everything about him, I can say that HE IS THE ONE. I have never felt this way with anyone. I want to know more and more about him, I want to shower him with all my love and care. I want to be in his hardships. I want to give all my love to him and have all his love for myself. I want me to become his shoulder to lean on when he is sad. I don't want his world to revolve around me. I just want him to explore his world with me.

      Everything around us should be paused except for me and him. We should be in our beautiful world.

"Priya!!! What are you daydreaming about? I'm asking you the answer to this question for the past five minutes!!!"  My beautiful explanation about my sweetheart was disturbed by this old lady with those big specs. MY PROFESSOR.

     "I'm sorry mam" I apologized and she continued with her class. Yaar!!! Did she disturb my dream just for a sorry? I would have asked her sorry 1000 times if she has asked for it later. "Enna da? Pagal kanava? Eppa paathaalum Annan nenapu dhaana?" (What bro, daydreaming about Anna?)God!!! Why is this girl, Deepika is always teasing me? I'm paavam🥺. I'm so innocent yk?

    After 1-2 hours, it was finally lunch break!! My eyes lighted up just by hearing the word SORU🍛. Whose eyes would not? Especially my DCP Ji's eyes will.

      As I was about to leave my class, my junior rushed to me and said  "Police is looking for you." A what? Police? I didn't do anything? Why would they look for me? I rushed to the office to see a familiar figure waiting for me with the million-dollar smile plastered on his face.

     Ok, ok, don't scold me. I know that I am dumb sometimes. It didn't even reach my mind that it would be him😅 Like who expected him here? In my college? Only me and Deepu know about our relationship among my friends.

    You can ask me why. It's just because... I didn't want to gain much attention. I didn't want my professors to see me as DCP Vikram's fiance. I want them to see me as Priya. Just, Priya.

    I was busy thinking about why he came without any prior information when he shook me a bit to get me back from my trance. I went close to him and started speaking that only he was able to hear.

Vikram/Priya

"Oii!! Why did you come here?"

"Lunch Ku vandhen... Adhaan apdiye unna paakalaam nu vandhen. Seri, nee Enna Di eppo vandheenga nu kekuradha vittutu edhuku vandhen nu kekura." (I came nearby to have lunch. Why are you asking why did I come instead of asking, when did I come?)

"Pinna? Sollaama kulllaama vandhaa? Enakku oru doubt? Commissioner office la irundhu en college Vara valila oru restaurant koodava illa?" (Then? What will I ask if you appear before me suddenly? Wait, I have a doubt. There are no restaurants in between from the commissioner office to my college?)

"Unkooda saapdulaam nu vandhen chellakutty🥰" (I came to have lunch with you darling)

"Ahaan? DCP Ji, I'm so oblige-"

"Eyyy!! Naanga unna ulla poturuvaangalonu bayandhu vandha, nee Enna Di Joly ah pesittu iruka?" (Dude, we rushed here that they would arrest you. But, you are happily talking here.)

My friend, Nithya interrupted me. Obviously, she would be indeed worried that he would arrest her friend.

"Adhu Ellam illa, he is my distant cousin. Naanu.... Haan, en purse tholanjirichu nu complaint kuduthu irundhen adhaan adha kandupidichutu thiruppi thara vandhu irukaaru."(Nothing Di, he is my cousin. I gave him a complaint that my purse was stolen. So he came to give it back.) I said hoping that she and the other girls with her would believe my lame excuse 😅

"Eh? You gave complaint to the City's DCP that you lost your purse?"

"Haan?😳 DCP? he is a DCP?" I looked at Vikram shocked.

Back to the story,

"I thought that he is an inspector 😳"

"Ennadi cousin nee? Avaru Enna Vela paakuraaru nu kooda theriyaama iruka? Anyways, sir, I am Nithya. Priya's friend 😊" (What type of cousin are you? Don't you even know who he is?) She left after introducing herself.

Vikram was seeing me as if I was a totally different person. I informed Deepika and dragged him to a restaurant opposite to our college. We found a table and made ourselves comfortable.

"Adipaavi!! Ennama poi soldra? Naan un cousin, naan DCP nu unakku theriyaadhu, un purse ah yaaro adichitaanga. Ethana Di ma!!" (For real? How many lies will you tell?!!!)

"Eeee... Adhu Ellam thaana varuradhu DCP sir"

"Meikuradhu eruma, idhula Enna ma unakku peruma?"

"Eeee"

After lunch and a happy talk, we departed ways. I came back to class to get a happy news!! We were left free for next 1 hour!!!

    So we all decided to play truth or dare. The only game that everyone would play if there is free time in our class. All the 20 of us sat in a circle. Actually there are many more students in our class.

     It's free time righ, all the couples of our class went to have their lovey dovey time and the other few single boys left to canteen. I'll introduce every couple to you guys in the upcoming chapter.

     So, all the single girls and girls like me who can't roam around with their boyfriends are sitting in the class right now. We started to play a very new game. After spinning the bottle for around 40 minutes, the bottle stopped pointing to me.

   Since I am very brave, I chose Dare. This is one of the most regretful decision I have ever made in my life. They told me to call Vikram and ask whether he is single because they wanted to know.

"Yaar!!! Why disturbing him? I will tell you the answer. He is not single. Enough? I asked him this myself."

"He would have lied to you right? Call him."

Ughh these girls🙄. They would not leave a chance to know about a handsome guy. Unfortunately, today, that handsome guy is my darling 😒

I looked at Deepika that she would help me. But, that sadist girl is just enjoying the scene.

I called him and as expected of my Darls, he picked up within the first few rings.

"Hello Vikram SIR" I stressed on that sir, expecting him to understand that I was not alone. Thank god he understood. That's my love ❤️

"Yes, Ms. PRIYA. What can I do for you?"

"Adhu...NaangaellarumtruthordarevelaadituirundhomIchoseDareandtheywantedtoknowthatwhetheryouaresingleornotsoareyousinglesir" I said it in one stretch without giving any gap.

"Eh? Can you tell me clearly?"

"Adhaanga... Naanga ellarum truth or dare velaaditu irundhom.(We were playing truth or dare) I chose Dare, and they wanted to know that whether you are single or not. So are you single sir?"

"Mmm... I'm...."

Ughhh... This guy is testing my patience... He is doing this wantedly 🙄. He is gonna get nicely from me when we meet again.

"Sir, you have to work and we have our next class in another 15 minutes. So, can you tell it fast?"

"I'm not single Ms. Priya."

I ended the call and turned to the girls.

"Enough girls? Now get back to your seats!!"

The next class started 20 minutes ago. There is only 10 Minutes for it to get over. Then we can go home happily. My phone vibrated suddenly making me to jerk. I saw the caller ID. It was from My DCP 💕🙈.  It was him, My Darls. I picked it up and went under the bench so that I would not get caught by me professor.

"Yov, Enna? Duty paakama edhuku call Panna? Poi un first love ah gavani!" (What? Why did you call me without seeing your duty?) I whispered that no one especially my professor could not hear me.

"Paakalaam, but duty mudinjiruchu." (I can see, but it got over) He replied whispering back.

"Seri, nee edhuku ipdi pesura?"(Ok, why are you talking like this?)

"Naan pesuradhu irukatum. Nee yen ipdi pesura?"(Leave that. Why are you talking like this?)

"Naan class la iruken"(I'm in class.)

"Naanum drive pannitu iruken."(I'm driving)

"Adhuku yen da ipdi pesura. Seri iru. En class sudden ah silent ah irukku."(Why are you talking like this for that? Ok, wait. My class is suddenly silent. Let me see what's happening.)

   I got up and saw my professor standing next to me and glaring at me to which I just replied with a sheepish smile. The next line from her was, GET OUT. I took my bag and came out like a obedient child.

"Priya? Irukiya? Mam thittunaangala chellam?🥺"(Priya? Are you there? Did mam scold you darling?)

"Adhaan velila anupitaanga nu theridhula. Aprom Enna?😒🙄" (You know that I was sent out right?)

"Seri, seri nee velila vaa. Naan un college pakkathula dhaan iruken. Unna oru place Ku kootitu poganum. Oru important person ah introduce pannanum." (Ok, ok. Come out. I'm waiting near your college. I have to introduce an important person to you.)

Vikram wants to introduce a important person? Who would it be? His higher official? His best friend? Or... Maybe his Ex/girlfriend? Who knows? Yeah I know 😂 but still.... Let's see it in the next chapter.
