V led you to another room. You really didn't care so you just looked around the castle.

You noticed a few Scorplings time to time. You wanted to try and touch one but they always scurry away.

"Are you comfortable doing it here?" V stopped as he opened the door to a room. You guessed it was his room.

"Yea, sure." You replied. He nodded. You went inside. V followed you and closed the door.

You sat on the bed and hummed the melody you heard earlier. V sat beside you. You kicked his foot.

"Hey! What was that for?!" He said as he stood up. "I don't want you sitting beside me." You tell him.

V sighed. "Alright, if thats what you want." He cleared his throat right after. "Anyways, we should get started." He stated.

"Do you have a name?" V asked. You glared. "Who wouldn't? My name is Y/N
." You replied.

"How long have you been living in the forest alone?" V continued. "Eh, probably since I was 6." You answered.

"6? You lived in the woods since you were 6 years old?!" V exclaimed. You nodded. "Is there a problem with that?" You asked.

V shook his head. "No. Just shocking." He said as he calmed down a bit. "Where are your parents?" He questioned.

You roll your eyes. "For all I care, they could be dead right now." You replied. "They are there exact reason why Im here."

V looked at you. "Your parents left you?" He asked. You nodded. "All I remember was them leaving me in the middle of the forest." You said.

"Ever since then, I was on my own." You look away. V sighed. "It must have been hard." He said.

You glare at him. "How would you know? Its not like you experienced anything like it." You tell him.

V looked at you confused. "You think that just because Im king means my life is great?" He asked. "Well there's pros and cons in being a leader.

"First, its good to have people respect and do thinga for you. Plus, you can do pretty much anything in the empire.

"But then you have deal with what the people want. You have to solve problems or fights so that the empire will forever be at peace."

He stopped and looked at you. "So there." He said. "Can't you just tell them to shut up and deal with their own problems?" You asked.

"I wouldn't be a good leader then." V replied. You look at him. "What about Flare? Why does he get to stay with you?" You asked.

V sighed. "Well, Flare is... complicated. He was the cause of many problems in Elemental Island." He answered.

"Why?" You questioned. "Flare is mentally unstable." V explained. "He tends to be suicidal, depressed, bipolar, and sometimes even childish.

"People reported him trying to kill someone. I faced him and I recognized him as my former best friend.

"So, I let him stay here so that I can help him with his mental problems. I confiscated anything that he can use to hurt himself or others and I try to talk to him when he gets a breakdown."

V finished. "Flare? Suicidal? But he seemed so nice." You said. "Im teaching him how to avoid feelings like wanting to hurt himself so he's like that now most of the time." V replied.

"Most of the time?" You asked. "Yes. He still talks to himself a lot and starts crying uncontrollably. But Im doing the best I can." V answered.

He sighed and looked out a window. "I think its a bit late for you. I shouldn't keep you here too long." He said.

You looked out too and saw the sky was getting dark. You look back at V. "Can I get something to eat first?" You asked.

You swore you saw V blush but you shrugged it off. "Ok." V replied as he led you back to the throne room.

He gave you something to eat. You thanked him and went on your way. You waved goodbye to V and Flare and teleported back to your cave.

You sat down on your bed and held the disc. You hummed the song again as you put it back in the chest.

You ate the food V gave you and yawned as you finished it. You layed down on your bed and drifted to sleep.

But you were awakened by growls. You stood up. It was about midnight. You womdered what could possible be outside.

You checked and saw something surprising. There stood about 4 similar creatures. Their fur was black and they had blood red eyes.

Their jaws were lined with sharp teeth and they had large claws on their feet. The creatures' long tail swished up and down as it sniffed the ground.

You knew what they were. Crawlers. The assasin unit for the Chaos Empire. You were wondering how they even reached the Elemental Island.

You formed a sword and went outside to drive them away. Your presence made the Crawlers growl. You growled back at them.

"We can do this in 2 ways." You said. "One, you walk away." The Crawlers bared there teeth.

"Or two, I walk on your face." The Crawlers still didn't show fear. "Its settled then." You smiled.

You charged at one of the Crawlers. You struck lightning at her and she yelped in pain. The other Crawlers made a run for you.

You hit another one with your sword while you created a clone to help you out.

You and the clone took out all of the Crawlers. You made the clone disappear as you looked at the black animals.

They struggled to get up. When they did, they growled at you and ran away. You sighed as you look at the moon. It was still late at night.

You took away your sword and went back to your cave. You were still wondering why and how the Crawlers got here.

"I should probably tell V about this." You thought as you went back to your bed. "There could still be more of them."

You layed on your bed. You closed your eyes while thinking of the Crawlers you just fought.

But you just shrugged it off and fell into a peaceful sleep.
