Utopia- an imagined place or state of things in which everything is perfect.

  Dystopia- an imagined place or state in which everything is unpleasant or bad.

(AN, this is may be a little boring, it kind of like a history lesson before you get to do the really cool stuff. I tried to make it as entertaining as I could.)

  Now, gather around as I tell you about the Utopia and the Dystopia.

  Long ago, two parallel dimension lived blissfully unaware of the other's existence. One was called Utopia, this is the dimension that we live in. Here, the average citizen lives unaware of the powers of the Utopia. The other was called Dystopia, this is the opposite of our dimension. The citizens live in fear of those with power. The citizens either die as food or live as slaves for eternity. (AN, not the type of slaves that do work all day.)

  Both have the same social classes. At the top is the Empress. Next, the Empress's guards. Then, the leaders of the four quadrants. After them is the warriors of the four quadrants. And finally, the citizens.

  The social classes were created after the Empresses gained power.

  As I said, the two dimensions were unaware of each other. Until a child was born who knew of her other self. The girl went through trauma at a young age. The Utopian girl chose to move on and live life as if it never happened. The Dystopian girl could not move on and despised the Utopian girl for being able to let it go. The Dystopian want to make the Utopian feel the pain just like her.

The Dystopian girl tried to show the Utopian girl visions and dreams of what happened, but the Utopian wouldn't let hate into her heart. The two girls became opposites, just like the dimensions.

The Utopia chose the Utopian girl to be its first Empress. The Dystopia chose the Dystopian girl as well. Both girls gained goddess-like forms, which would stop their aging when they were in it. The goddess forms would make them look like young adults. The forms gave them powers to, in the Utopian's case, protect her people, in the Dystopian's case, corrupt the Utopia.

The Utopian chose to go in and out of her goddess form, only using it when she needed to.

The Dystopian chose to stay in her goddess form, changing the Dystopia in order to give her more power.

The Utopian Empress gained power by how many of her people believe in her and the Utopia.

The Dystopian Empress gained power by taking power away from the Utopia.

Ever since the two became the Empresses, the Utopia and the Dystopia learned more about each other. Gaining knowledge to slowly lead to the other's demise.
