Chapter seven- Thomas isn't the best person ever

(A/N This book, sadly, is about to have bullying, controlling, harassment etc. If you're not comfortable with that you could go read another book if you like, do whatever you feel comfortable with. The bullying 'N stuffs ends at chapter nine. Thank you for reading so far :)

It was about a week into the school year. I had managed to keep my grades up, although I never got to talk to John. Me and Thomas where going to meet up with the rest of the friend group. I didn't really want too, because we where meeting up during class. Earlier I had told that to him.

"I have to go to class, though," I had said as Thomas explained where we where going.

"Class is for losers," Thomas had said.

"But I don't want a bad grade," I protested.

Thomas had turned to face me slowly.

"You will come with me, and you wont protest," Thomas had said in a dark , mean, controlling voice. "Do you understand?"

"Yes," I had mumbled.

"Good, now come on darling they'll be expecting us there," Thomas had said, and he grabbed my hand to pull me on.

I didn't know what to think. He had been nice to me for the entire time I knew him. He had been controlling, yes, but he hadn't threatened me before. He had also all of the sudden started calling me things like 'Darling' and 'My baby' and 'babe'. I just ignored him. I didn't think we where in any kind of relationship- But I was not going to protest to him, not again.

We rounded a corner and met up at our usual spot in the courtyard.

"We ready to egg the library?" Thomas said excitedly.

"Wait- what?" I said.

"We're egging the library," Thomas repeated.

"But- I cant do that. All the books, and history..." I said.

"Are you disobeying me?" Thomas asked.

I took a deep breath.

"Yes," I said.

Thomas glared at me, pure evil in his eyes. Then he suddenly punched me in the face. I fell to the ground.

"You don't disobey me," Thomas snickered. "Now, say 'I'm sorry, babe'"

I pushed myself back up to my feet, my head throbbing in pain. I felt some blood trickle down from my nose. I stared up at his eyes. Did he just ask me to call him Babe? that's disgusting. I kept staring at him defiantly.

"Did you hear me?" Thomas asked, raising his voice.

I took out my wand, prepared to use the spell Accio Eliza had taught me. But Thomas ripped my wand out of my hands and threw it on the ground. Then he punched me again. And again.

"SAY IT!" Thomas yelled at me as I curled up on the ground.

"I-I'm sorry," I whimpered in pain. Then I added quietly, disgust in my voice, "Babe."

"Now get up, and come with us," He said menacingly.

I pushed myself up onto my legs, and almost fell over from the pain.

"Its alright. I did that because its good for you, honey," Thomas said, and helped me up. "Now tell me you love me."

"I love you," I said, my voice cracking from fear and pain.

"Alright, now lets go," Thomas said, and we began to walk with the rest of the group towards the library, Benedict carrying a box of eggs.

*~*

I stumbled up into the Ravenclaw common room at the end of the day, still aching from Thomas's blows. I had gotten my wand back earlier, thankfully nobody stole it form the courtyard. Thomas said that next time he might take my wand away for good, as discipline. He said it would be good for me, and help our relationship.

"OH MY- ALEXANDER WHAT THE HECK-" One of Eliza's friends shouted when I entered the common room. I had gotten to know their names as Steven, Christopher and Ben.

"Ham Man, what did you do to yourself?" Eliza asked me.

They ran up to me and helped me sit down on one of the velvet blue couches. They had been calling me things like 'Ham man', 'Hammy', 'Ham chops', 'Ham ham' and 'Ham'. The nick names, and their faces, where the only couple things that made me happy these days. They where so kind and caring- and funny.

"It was Thomas," I said quietly. "He took my wand away so I couldn't get you."

"That son of a-" Eliza said.

"Please, don't do anything to him. It wont happen again, hes nice to me. He just did one thing but I'm fine," I said.

"You can't not fight back," Chris said.

"I'm fine," I repeated.

"No you're not," Ben said. "We need to go beat them up."

"Yeah!" Chris said.

"Please don't," I sighed.

"If you don't want us too, we wont," Eliza said.

"Come on, Eliza, Ham is getting abused. We have to do something," Chris said.

"I'm in! whats happening?" Steven said, running over to us from the entrance to the common room.

"Thomas beat Ham Ham up," Ben said.

"Oh no, poor Ham Chops," Steven said.

"I'm seriously fine, and stop making me laugh at those nick names, it hurts," I said, trying not to laugh.

"But Hammy, you just said you're fine. Why does it hurt to laugh?" Chris said suspiciously. "Hes not fine, lets go beat some guys up."

"Guys, he said he does not want us too. Respect the Ham Man's wishes," Eliza said.

"Fine, but next time, hes going down," Chris said angrily.

"Lets go organize a secret attack plan anyway," Steven suggested, and walked away with Ben and Chris.

I sighed. Why did I have to have such great friends? No, not my friends. Thomas said that I cant make other friends. What am I thinking? I don't have to listen to him. But He had haunted my thoughts. When I think of something, his cruel voice pops up in my head. It popped into my head more then my fathers voice used too.

I sighed, sitting alone on the couch.

"I'm going to go get my insane Hufflepuff and Gryffindor friends to help out, in the morning" Eliza said, I had forgotten she was there.

"I don't need help," I said again.

"Well, when you do need help, we need to form a plan so you can contact us. And besides, even though Chris, Ben and Steven are very good at revenge, they are secretly not the best at actual physical harm. You could use a Lafayette," Eliza said.

"We have the Accio thing, I'm fine," I said, sighing.

"Hammy, that obviously didn't work this time," Eliza sighed. "You meet us tomorrow at breakfast, come to the Hufflepuff table. Don't be late."

"Mk," I said.

"Good Ham Chops," He said, patting my head.

Eliza then walked away, up the spiral staircase, and towards the girls room. I picked up a book next to me and settled down to read, trying to forget the pain. Its good for you, honey. Thomas's voice echoed in my head.

I wanted to scream at the voice to go away. But even the thought at screaming at Thomas's voice in my head made me a bit scared, like he would somehow know and come after me.

*~*

Two weeks had past by quickly. Thomas hadn't done anything bad to me, but his voice still haunted me. And he was certainly still controlling, forcing me to call him things like 'Babe' and he even introduced me to someone as his boyfriend. I am still confused at how our relationship works. I think its a abusive relationship, but hes not beating me all the time, so I think its all right.

Eliza had introduced me to her supposedly insane Hufflepuff and Gryffindor friends. Hercules, Lafayette and John. She also introduced me to her sisters; Peggy is a Gryffindor, and Angelica is a Slytherin. One of the nicest Slytherin's, in fact, she was one of the ones waving at the first years when they first came into Hogwarts to be sorted.

I liked John a lot. Lafayette was hard rock like Lancelot. And Hercules always seemed to have the most perfectly fitted, clean, well made clothing, everyone commented that his pants where 'hot'.  I may potentially like John more then the others.

I knew him from the first day, and he had been so kind. Now he was still kind, smart and brave. Everything the opposite of Thomas. Thomas actually obviously hated them, one time he pulled me away from them at lunch;

"Yeah, he sounds like a dying elephant that's constantly smoking drugs," Hercules was saying.

"Smoking drugs?" Lafayette laughed.

"I meant crack," Hercules said.

"Crack?" Lafayette laughed harder.

"Pot," Hercules finally got right.

I laughed with him and the others, that's when Thomas had come around.

"Babe, stay away from them," Thomas had said. "They'll ruin your purity."

Purity? What was that even supposed to mean?

"Hey, leave Hammy alone," Lafayette said.

"Come on, babe," Thomas had said, and wrapped his arm around mine, pulling me away from the only people I actually enjoyed spending time with.

Now Thomas and I walked together through the hallways. He always insisted on holding hands, like we where a perfect couple. We where walking towards the next class, potions, together. As we walked through the dungeons.

(A/N this moment is where it gets bad. If you decided to think you could handle the sexual harassment, bullying and such, I'm just warning you this is the worst. More at the start of the next chapter, but just so you know, it has a good ending)

Thomas suddenly pushed me into another room and closed the door behind us.

"W-what are you doing?" I asked him.

He didn't reply, just walked up to me. He moved his head close to mine.

"I-" I tried to back away from him, but ran into the wall.

He then pressed his lips to mine.
