Chapter I'M ALREADY AT THIRTY TWO!?- The deep dark hole-cave cold thing

I walked with the others through the huge fancy building. My leg was completely healed in one day thanks to magic, although Madam Pomfrey could have done better. Me, Lafayette/Dad in law?, James and Aaron where all at the MM. We where going to get some advanced wizards to deal with this mess. They probably knew intricate tracing spells.

First, we would of to talk to the Minister of Magic. He would decide what was going to happen, and hopefully send his best to track down the dragon and save my love.

Lafayette reached up a shaky hand and knocked on a large fancy wooden door. The door creaked open. We all stepped inside, nobody was at the door, so magic had probably done it. The room was small, clean and tidy. I heard every new Minister would change the room, re-paint it and add new decorations.

The room had wooden flooring, simple yet pretty. The ceiling the same brick painted white as the walls, a chandelier hanging in the middle. There was a large desk in the back of the room, a chair next to it, where a old looking man sat.

"Ahem," I said.

The man looked up. He had white hair, with some specks of red, as if he used to be red headed but most of it had turned white from old age. He didn't look very old, though, his hair just gave off that impression. He was wearing a simple black suit with a small Hogwarts pin. He stood up and walked over to us.

"Washington," He said, shaking all of our hands, his voice a deep British accent. "Pleasure to meet you. How may I be of your assistance?"

"Have you heard news of the dragon at Hogwarts?" Aaron asked, as she was he most not-about-to-cry out of all of us.

"Yes," Washington sighed, taking a quick glance out a large window with a wooden window frame.

"Our friends where taken by the dragon," Aaron said.

"My boyfriend," I added.

Washington gave us a sympathetic look, then walked back to his desk. He took out a piece of parchment and dipped his quill in ink.

"What can I do to help?" He asked.

"We were wondering if you could send some advanced wizards to track down the dragon," James said.

Washington wrote something quickly down on the parchment, in eat tidy handwriting.

"That can be arranged," He nodded.

"I wan't to kill the dragon," Lafayette added.

"Lafayette! That's to dangerous, and unnecessary," Aaron hissed.

"How else do  get the love of my life back?" Lafayette asked, tears where forming in his eyes.

"We could send the dragon off to a friend," Washington suggested. "Charley Weasley studies dragons, and I know he would love to house this dragon."

"That works," Aaron said before Lafayette talked again.

"I'll organize a team," Washington concluded, rolling up his parchment and putting it inside a small drawer in his desk.

"Thank you sir," I nodded gratefully.

"No problem, son," He smiled. "You are dismissed."

We walked out of the office, shutting the door behind us.

"I'm coming to get you, Lexi," I whispered.

*~*

I blinked my eyes open to see other humans around me. Bleeding, limping, wailing for help. I instantly began to shiver from the cold air.

"Hes awake," Someone murmured.

"ALEX!" Someone shouted, and something touched my arm.

I blinked my eyes a couple more times, until my vision was less blurry. A intense headache grew in my head and I lifted my hands to my temples, rubbing them lightly. It usually helped me gain focus.

"You okay?" I could now tell the voice was Hercules's.

"Yeah," I muttered.

Then I remembered what happened. John! I thought, pushing myself to my feet. I weakly stumbled and fell against a cold stone wall. I felt someone grab my arms to help me stand up straight.

"John," I whispered.

"He's not here," Hercules said. "He's probably safe at Hogwarts."

"Where are we?" I asked, my vision now fully re-gained.

Around me was all stone walls. It was a small place, with no entrance. Except, up, a large hole in the ceiling went about a hundred feet. We where stuck in a stone hole. A freezing stone hole.

"I don't know," Hercules said honestly, letting go of me.

As I forced myself to stand on my feet my headache increased. I took a deep breath and rubbed my temples.

"Headache?" Hercules asked.

I only nodded, trying to make it go away. Finally my headache faded, leaving only thoughts of John and how cold I was.

"Are they coming to get us?" I asked, looking upwards.

"I don't know," Hercules said again.

I reached my hand into my pocket and drew out my wand. He looked at my wand and smiled.

"Everyone else didn't have their wands as they where in the Hospital Wing. Madam Pomfrey's wand broke when we where put in here. Maybe we have some hope," Hercules said.

"Is everyone here from Hogwarts?" I asked.

"No. There's three other people here, they won't talk to anyone," Hercules grunted.

"I bet Madam Pomfrey knows a spell that would help us out of here," I predicted.

"POMFREY!" Hercules yelled.

The woman turned towards us, and walked over. I gently handed my wand to her, my hands shaking, and she examined it.

"I don't know any spells that could get us up that deep of a hole," Madam Pomfrey sighed.

I glanced at Hercules who frowned sadly. Then we heard the woosh of a dragons wings, and something descending from the sky. The light was dotted out as the dragon blocked the entire hole, flying down and down. It finally landed with a thud in the corner of the cave. It looked at us, and snorted.

It then laid down, and four baby dragons slid down its extended gray wing. The babies where replicates of the older dragon, except more energetic and less scary looking. The babies bounced around, causing the humans to all squish together in the opposite corner.

One of the babies walked up to a Hogwarts student. The other babies joined, staring at the person who had a Slytherin tie.

The Slytherin didn't know what to do. I would probably not touch it, because that might anger the mama, and sit very still unless the dragons decide to play. If I were in their position, anyway. Suddenly the biggest baby bit onto the side of the student. The Slytherin wailed in pain, and their friends tried to grab onto him.

The babies worked together to pull the student away. The friends trying to save him where all weak from recent injuries that landed them in the hospital wing, and quickly lost the game of tug-of-war. The babies hauled the Slytherin, who was wailing and screeching, over towards the old dragon.

The dragon snorted a bit of fire onto the Slytherin, who screamed louder. Suddenly, the dragon picked up the Slytherin, and ate him. The wailing suddenly stopped, replaced with the loud crushing of bones. I was shaking, partly from the freezing winter air, partly from fear. All I could think abut was jumping into John's arms.

The babies then turned back towards the students, smiling cutely, and walking over towards me.

*~*

I rode on my broomstick. Me, a large group of volunteer students, and about five highly-trained aurors flew towards the Ravenclaw common room to start the investigation.

Tears kept coming. I was crying all day. I felt dehydrated. Lafayette was no better, he lost his legal son and the love of his life.

I sighed , reached up to wipe some more tears from my eyes. Washington, who had joined us on this mission because he was an amazing person, flew up behind me.

"It'll be okay son. We will get him back," He said confidently.

"I hope you're right," I sniffed.

He gave me a small smile then went to check on Lafayette. We neared the Ravenclaw dorms, flying around the castle. The stars shimmered in the sky, a half moon was our only light. We all landed in the rubble of the building, and I ran towards Pip first thing.

If someone saw her and her eggs during investigation, we're doomed. No we're, me. I'm doomed. Because Alexander won't bet in trouble. He's dead. More tears streamed from my eyes. At least there was hope in finding Hercules.

I knew for a while now that Alex was dead. I felt it inside. On our way to the office, something inside me suddenly shifted out of place, and I knew he had died.

I sniffled a couple times, still crying, as I carefully picked up Pip. I stuffed her and the eggs in my Hogwarts robes's pockets. Of course, that didn't work, the eggs where to heavy and big. I decided to quickly stuff them in a suitcase that was in the rubble, half open.

I then zipped up the suitcase and dragged it away.

"Where are you going?" One of the Aurors asked.

"I- I," I stuttered, forcing more tears out.

The person seemed to take the hint that I was going to sit alone for a while, and they turned around. I then ran towards my broomstick. I tied the suitcase to my broom, then took off into the sky. I flew towards the Hufflepuff common room, hopefully they could be safe there.

I heard Pip squeak in my pocket.

"Shh," I said, my voice wavy from tears.

I began to slowly recover from the shock of my boyfriends death. I had to overcome this, and help possibly save Hercules.

(A/N Did Alexander really die? Or is John just doubting everything? FIND OUT NEXT CHAPTER! Haha I'm evil ;)
