JISUNG P.O.V.

Oh my God! Is Mr. Johnny gonna forbid our love for each other? Like Romeo and Juliet? Will Hyunjin drink the poison with me? I thought as I tried to keep my eyes on Mr. Johnny.

"Are you sure about this Hyunjin?" Mr. Johnny asked as he turned to Hyunjin.

"Definitely," Hyunjin replied as he looked back to his father but I can feel the tension between them.

Jisung, right?" Mr. Johnny turned to me again. I nodded nervously. "Are you sure about marrying my son? Do you love him?" I was taken aback by his question then blushed realizing he is going to be my future father-in-law. Oh my God, Hyunjin father is so intimidating but if I win his approval I'd finally be Hyunjin wife! I mean husband..!

I looked at Mr. Johnny with determination. "I love Hyunjin since the very first time we met. He gave me a hard time enough to confirm that despite of everything that happened to us I still love him and will always love him." I finally answered hoping Hyunjin can't hear how loud my heart is pounding right now. I looked at him only to catch him staring at me with a smirk. Ugh! That confession is too much for his ego!

I stared back at him then smirked back but Mr. Johnny cut off our trance as he cleared his throat making us  turn to him.

He sighed, “I see.” That’s what he only said before turning to his husband. “Prepare Doyoung, we’re going to meet Jisung parents in two days,” he declared making my ears clap in pure joy.

I turned to Minho when he suddenly choked in surprise as he turned to his Dad. “You mean  that, Dad? So you approved about Hyunjin and Jisung?” he asked excitedly. I smiled at him. Thanks, bro!

He turned to me with a bright smile, “Isn’t that great, Jisung? Welcome to the family!” he said happily. “Why don’t we continue eating? Papa’s cooking is always the best!”

I can’t helped but to feel warm. I was afraid Hyunjin parents won’t like me. Can this day be any brighter? I am celebrating inside my mind.

The atmosphere seemed to lighten up and also with Minho’ mood. I turned to Hyunjin again, it makes me happy to see his small smile. I finally know where he inherited his personality.

“Your parents will be ecstatic about this,” he suddenly said to me as I stared at him. I blinked. I didn’t noticed how long I had been staring at him. Uhh! What’s happening to you Jisung? You had been acting weird lately? Is that what love does to you?

“Y-Yeah, I can already see their faces,” I laughed awkwardly.

He smirked again knowing what is going on with me. Hmpf! I turned back to eating but look up again to see his parents looking at me. Seeing his Papa smiling at me knowingly and his Dad just continued eating. I cleared my throat before I continue eating.

Two Days Later...

I kept on looking outside to see if Hyunjin and his parents are here but seems like they’re still traveling. I’ve been excited for this day to come. My parents are truly delighted when they learned that Hyunjin and his parents are gonna visit to talk about marriage. I smiled to myself excitedly when I heard the sound of the car. I instantly run to open the front door.

I hug Hyunjin as he reached the front door, err it’s not like I haven’t seen him for days but I missed him who cares.

“Calm yourself, Brat,” he said but hugged me back anyway before moving me away from him.

I looked at his parents sheepishly. “Welcome to our humble home, Papa and..” I greeted his papa first as I walked to them happily. Papa smiled back at me. Then I turn to his Dad nervously, “Dad..” he just nod at me. My feet are clapping inside my mind feeling happy assuming that it was a sign of acceptance.

“Let’s go in,” I led them where the living room is. “Mom and Dad had been looking forward to this day.”

I opened the door to the living room without knocking. Who cares? This is our house! “Mom, Dad! Hyunjin parents just arrived!” I declared enthusiastically.

“Let them in, dear,” Mom said as I let them in. My parents stood up to greet them but suddenly stopped.

“Johnny?!” my Dad exclaimed to my surprise.

“Dominic?” Hyunjin dad said in surprise too.

“W-What are you doing here, Johnny?” now it’s my Mom adding to my confusion. “Don’t tell me you’re..”

“Hold on,” I cut off feeling the tension between our parents. Hyunjin walked to my side and grabbed my hand. I know he can feel it too.

“You guys know each other?” I asked looking at them. “Mom? Dad?” I turned to my parents. My Mom looked so angry.

“There will be no wedding between you and that man’s son!” Mom said angrily.

“What!??” I exclaimed. Horrified from what I just heard. “Why? You and Dad were so excited just a while ago!” I  yelled angrily! “No! You can’t do this to me and Hyunjin!” I said about to cry. How could my parents do this. I hugged Hyunjin suddenly feeling afraid to be away from him. I’m thankful when he held me back.

“No, Jisung!” Mom said angrily. “You are not going to marry Johnny's son!”

“No! Why are you so mad about this?” I argued. “Hyunjin parents travelled all the way here just to meet you!”

“That man!” my Mom turned to Hyunjin Dad who was just looking at her unaffected. “He cheated on me! He used to be my fiancé!” she accused in anger. I gasped in surprise to know what happened between my Mom and Hyunjin Dad. I never knew about this story ever happened. It’s hard to process. I was speechless. Of all people why our parents? But even if they have issues from the past I still love Hyunjin. They can object all they want, I will not leave Hyunjin even if we have to elope or drink poison!

I looked up to Hyunjin, and as if he felt my eyes on him he looked down. He smiled at me reassuringly. “They can’t do anything. I will take you away if I have to,” he whispered only for me to hear. It made my heart pound in pure happiness. Hyunjin is ready to fight for me!

“Let’s stop this bullsh*t!” we turned to Hyunjin Dad, well besides my Mom and Dad who’re already been glaring at him. “The kids got nothing to do with what’s already happened,” he said expressionless towards my Mom.

“How dare you?” but Mom seems like she wouldn’t listen. “You don’t have the right to say that!” she yelled angrily, “I don’t want my son to be hurt or-”

“Shut the f*ck up, Soyeon!” He cutoff whatever my Mom’s gonna say which surprised me. I’m not used to seeing my parents like this.

“Watch your mouth, Johnny! You’re not in your territory!” my Dad raised his voice as he came closer to my Mom putting his hand on her shoulder.

“I don’t care,” Hyunjin Dad turned to my Dad coldly that made my Dad back off. I know Hyunjin Dad is very intimidating but I didn’t know he is this scary that even my parents were left frozen.

“We are only here to formally talk about the wedding,” he glared at my parents.

I gulped. No! Please don’t change your mind! I prayed silently.

“Since you are objecting,” he turned to his husband who had been holding his hand silently beside him. Then to Hyunjin and me. “We are just wasting our time here,” I suddenly felt scared when he said that. Is he gonna take Hyunjin with him away from me? I felt my tears, No! l’ll go wherever Hyunjin is!

“This sh*t is over,” he declared as he begin to head towards the door followed by Papa Doyoung.

“Jisung,” he called me making me flinch as he stopped walking but didn’t look back.

“Y-Yes..” I answered quietly not knowing how to react.

“It’s your decision now. Listen to your parents?” he paused for a second. “..or listen to your heart,” with that he continue walking out leaving me and Hyunjin.

Hyunjin had been quiet, I look up at him. “Hyunjin..” I whispered studying his emotionless face.

He held my hand tightly as if to reassure me. That’s enough for me. I turned to my parents who had been quiet as well. I know how much they love me and been protecting me but I had enough of their drama.

“Mom.. Dad..” I looked at them sadly. “You both know how much I love you, but me and Hyunjin love each other and whatever happened to you and his Dad in the pass, please let it go. If you can’t, it’s okay..” I sighed.

“My dear..” my Mom walked towards me followed by my Dad.

“No, Mom..” I wiped my tears. “I decided to follow my heart. You can be mad all you want, but I’m leaving with Hyunjin.”

“Son! You don’t know what you’r-“

“No, Dad! I know what I’m doing!” I looked at my Dad. “You can’t stop me now and it’s up to you. You can disown me, if that’s what you want,” I stared at them for a moment knowing it’ll be the last time I’ll see them. “..or forgive what happened in the past and attend my wedding,” with that I turned and pulled Hyunjin with me leaving my parents’ house. Their gasps was the last thing I heard before leaving them but I decided to follow my heart. Walking out of that house hand in hand with Hyunjin is enough to put smile on my lips.

Three Months Later..

I’m quite nervous now but today is the best day of my life. After I left home I never heard anything from my parents. It made me sad but.. whenever I look at my soon to be husband beside me now reminds me that I made the right decision.

He looked back at me. My heart pounds loudly as I stared at his very handsome face! My God finally your mine! And of course I’m always yours! But that remains in my mind. I had a sudden flashback of all the difficulties we’ve been through. I smiled with teary eyes.

My heart skipped a beat when he smiled back at me. Can you be more dashing, Hyunjin? I turn away from him or I’ll kiss the groom before the priest would ever say it.

My eyes widened, tears falls in happiness as my sight lands on two important people in my life. Now I could finally have my happy ever after! I smiled at my parents, which I know for sure that they never wanna miss my once in a lifetime wedding with the love of my life.

I wiped my tears of happiness before turn back my attention to the priest who finally ask to state our vows.

I looked straight to Hyunjin eyes that stares back at mine as if its seeing through my soul. My smile never falters as I grabbed his hand ready to slip the ring, “I don’t know where to start..” I gently touched his handsome face. “I’m still not sure if this is just a dream. Standing with you here next to me and exchanging vows with me is a dream. Looking back on how much you gave me a hard time,” I said while pouting a little as I remembered the first time we met and how much I had changed. “I could never be more thankful when you never left my side despite of all the things that we’ve been through,” my voice cracked a little then release a shaky breath. “I had never been loved the way you love me nor I ever loved someone the way I love you, Hyunjin. Today, I promise you that I will cherish you, love only you, for richer or for richer,” I smiled as he smirked back at me. “For sickness and in health, ‘till death do us part,” I finished as I finally slipped the ring on his finger.

Hyunjin reached for my hand as I dropped it and hold mine in his tightly as he looked at me with such emotions I can’t even fathom. “I never thought that this day would come” he pinched my cheek, Ugh!

“I was living my life in harmony and peace,” he smiled knowing that I know what he meant.

I almost rolled my eyes, “Are you trying to say that I made your life chaotic?” I heard the crowd laugh.

“Just let me finish first, you had your turn,” he flicked my nose making me pout. “My life was actually too boring, but when you entered my life it changed because you caught my attention at how desperate you we’re. I tried to get away from you but you were so persistent. You break through my barriers and I never regretted letting you in. I don’t want to get this vows longer,” he said seeming embarrassed and impatient but he is hiding it perfectly from everyone but I can see through him. I know Hyunjin is not much of a talker. He brushed off the hair on my forehead that seemed to be out of place. “I love you, for who you are and not what you have. I love you despite of everything that we’ve been and will go through. I won’t promise you the world but I assure to never leave  you, ‘till death do us part,” then he gently kissed my forehead before slipping the ring on my finger.

That moment felt like it  is just the two of us. I know he can be so sweet this reached my heart and soul. God,  love this man so much!

I was woken up from my reverie when the priest cleared his throat, “Forasmuch as both Groom have consented together in holy matrimony, and have pledged their love and loyalty to each other, and have declared the same by the joining and giving of rings, by the power vested in me, and witnessed by friends and family, I now pronounce you husband and husband. You may now kiss each other.”

I know this is our wedding but I can’t helped but blush, I gulped. He had that smirk on his face that knows what I’m currently feeling right now.

“I love you, Brat,” he said as he kissed me deeply on my lips.

I don’t know how long it was until we both got out of breath. I pout, “I love you even more, you big bully Hyunjin!” I whisper-yelled.

Our attention was caught by the audition as we heard a loud applause.

This day is just the beginning..
