(I really wanted to add the case of this famous criminal to this book and also talk about a bit of real facts and i found some informations about the case in another book from another author so  thanks  you @StellaHaruno14 to let me borrow this informations )

this time let's leave the urban legends aside let's talk a bit about real facts .

1/yandere meaning:

yanderu = sick              dere dere = in love 

yandere   is a character, usually female, who harbors powerful affections for another person to the point of either being jealous, aggressive, controlling, or insane and violent to the point of killing anyone(usually also female) that looks at their supposed . Typically used to refer to anime/manga characters, but there are similar cases in the real world (like the one we will talk about today)

21 year old Yuka Takaoka was arrested for illegally using a kitchen knife to stab her boyfriend "Luna", a bar entertainer, in their fifth-floor residence in Shinjuku

The 20-year-old victim was taken to a hospital where he is still in serious condition, police said at that time.

Subsequently, Takaoka became famous on social medias . Users found the situation - "including Takaoka's appearance " very convincing. On Instagram, she got a lot of attention as :

"too beautiful to be an attempted murder suspect"

The video was supplemented with a report that showed her sparkling an evil smile under her large glasses inside the back seat of a patrol car as she was removed from the murder  scene

Yuka and Luna had been dating for 6 months, when they decided to move in together ...

Yuka and Luna had decided to meet at 12.00 at their home to arrange the apartment, but unfortunately Luna arrived 3 hours late because of his work....so Yuka decided to look into Luna's stuff to distract herself

He opens his eyes, stands up and sees a kitchen knife dig into his stomach and Yuka above him holding the famous knife ... panicked, he violently pushed Yuka from the bed and started running outside the apartment. .. he was in pain ...but it's not what bothered him .. he was afraid of being already dead

 he headed for the elevator ... but Yuka does not stop there she pursues him and throws himself on him causing him to fall backwards on the floor ... he thought it was the end until she asked him: 

Yuka: Do you love me?

Under panic and fear Luna answered her : "Yes" praying that it would stop there.

he lost consciousness completely without being able to call for help, so he found himself in the hall with his stomach open.

Police arrive at the crime scene, and discover a totally unrealistic scene ... Yuka ... covered in blood ... next to bloody Luna ... being on the phone and smoking a cigarette ... claiming no attention to the policeman who tried to talk to her ... she wanted to wait until Luna died to kill herself... she declared to the investigators that she loved him  more  than anything and that the only way for her to be with Luna forever was to kill him and then kill herselfe... to be together forever ...

Yuka: I loved him so much I couldn't help myself.

He was still alive when we took her to the hospital, but there was only a 20% chance that he would survive ... but Luna managed to make it ... with only a scar and a problem of liver that will prevent him from drinking alcohol afterwards .

He didn't blame Yuka at all, he even said that it was for a good reason that Yuka stabbed him ... even apologizing to her for cheating on him and asking the judges that she has a less heavy sentence

she took 3 years and 6 months imprisonment and paid Luna $ 45,000 to apologize for trying to kill him which he willingly accepted ...

Yuka has become a kind of "icon", she gained 70,000 subscribers on Insta, people started to make fanart of her and the crime  scene.

A pot was opened to get Yuka out of prison ... in 2 days they collected $ 3,800 because "sh'es Too beautiful to be an attempted murder suspect".

  after these 2 days the pot was closed and it's up to you. moment there that she was recognized as the "real" character of the Yandere in the animes
