the country of the legends : korea

the story :

In South Korea, getting good grades is a goal to accomplish, which puts great pressure on students , Parents are strict when it comes to school matters. Many students hire private tutors or even after school, they go back to study. Numerous libraries have a 10 p.m. curfew or later. Most students stay up late to study. But it can happen later that they fall asleep in class, which is a huge problem. Especially if the student is caught after three times by the teacher; he will have the right to a sanction

the legend talk about Sun-Hi who was a young girl who often sneaked back to school late at night to study with friends. One day, as usual, they went to work together. Cause of a pressing urge, Sun-Hi went to the bathroom, signaling to her friends that she would be back soon.

Only the library light was on that day, while the rest of the school was engulfed in the darkness of the night.

The bathroom was only a few doors down the hall from where they were, so she didn't mind going alone.

Meanwhile, the library students continued to study until they noticed a faint clicking sound on the window. One of the young boys then opened the curtains; curious. It was then that the whole group saw an old woman, pale, banging on the window with her eyes closed. At first they wondered why was she here so late. Then she suddenly opened her eyes.

( a/n : the photo up above yup she is creepy )

Only there were no eyes. Just big empty holes. The woman tilted her head slightly then an unhealthy smile slowly appeared on her face, at the horrified sight of the students. Suddenly, she took her momentum, thus breaking the glass between them.

Sun-Hi, still in the bathroom, was about to wash her hands but she suddenly heard cries of terror, and the sound of broken glass coming from the library. Suddenly, the lights in the bathroom went out .

As fast as the screams from the library started they  had ceased.

Sun-Hi was then forced to wipe her wet hands on her clothes quickly leaving the bathroom in total darkness. She then returned to the library to meet up with her friends, although she would have preferred not to have done so.

Before her stood a sinister scene. All the students in the library were dead. Some were on the floor, others hung on desks or cupboards.

( Just like that )

Sun-Hi was in shock, she didn't understand. She didn't have time to realize the atrocity of this situation as she already heard footsteps coming down the stairs, heading towards the room in which she was.

Clever as she is, Sun-Hi threw herself on the ground, next to her dead friends, deciding not to move pretending to be dead. Still surprisingly very calm, she slowed down her own breathing, slowly closing her eyes.

Someone quietly entered the room. Then wandering between the corpses, this thing began to count :"One, two ... One, two ... One, two ..."

Out of curiosity, Sun-Hi stood up a minimum in order to perceive who this person was. She then saw a woman with the allure of the ghostly  cliché, entirely dressed in white. She closed her eyes again , fighting the urge to scream. The woman, meanwhile, came closer and closer.

"One, two ... One, two ... One, two ..."

Sun-Hi had hoped the ghost would be gone soon.

"One, two ... One, two ... One, two ..."

she didn't move an inch.

"One, two ... One, two ... One, two ..."

Almost beside her, Sun-Hi tried to hold her breath; thus limiting the slightest noise.

It was then that suddenly the counting stopped. Sun-Hi didn't hear any more noise, it was strangely quiet. She waited several minutes. She thought the ghost was gone. She lifted her head then opened her eyes.

But she was there

The ghostly woman had crouched behind Sun-Hi's head, showing her face, bending down, before the horrified eyes of the young girl. A bony finger was pointed directly at the student's face.

"One. Two !" cried the ghost, suddenly gouging out the girl's eyes.

The next day, the bodies of the students were found by personal, all of their eyes were missing. Although, one student eyes were not only missing but also had an expression of shock plastered on her face.

Since then, studying late at night has been banned in South Korea, students are no longer allowed to study after 10 p.m.

(a/n) : so who's going to the library now ? :3
