The next day, Alex was at the beach where the shack he made was at after classes, getting ready to go surfing. He loved the beach, and especially loves surfing. He always found it so calming and relaxing. Being a Prince meant that he got part of the beach to himself and anyone he wanted to join him which meant he was the only one out there.

He grabbed his surfboard he made and walked towards the water. He paddled out to where the waves started to break, waiting on his surfboard for a good one to come. A grin tugged on his lips when he saw a nice tall wave forming behind him.

Turning around, he starts paddling. Not too long after that, he got into a standing position when he felt it swelling underneath the board, lifting him up. He easily maintained his balance and ride the wave, letting out a yell of excitement. He did a double take when he noticed a familiar blue haired girl standing on the shore, watching him surf with what looked like admiration.

"E-Evie?" He stuttered, feeling his heartbeat increase. Part of him was surprised and confused that she was there, but another part of him was glad she was there.

The brunette headed boy lost his balance and tipped sideways off the front of the board. As he fell ungracefully into the water, the board flipped over, hitting him on the head.

He let out a grunt of pain, rubbing his head and laid his arms on the board. He then heard a giggle that sounded like music to his ears which reminded him he wasn't alone, and that Evie just saw him make a fool of himself. His face turned pink with embarrassment, wishing the waves would just take him away so he wouldn't have to go over to Evie, knowing that he would just make him more embarrassed.

After having a mental argument with himself, he got back on his board and paddled back over to where Evie was at. "Uh, hi, Evie." He nervously greeted. He grabbed his surf board and he walked out of the water to her.

Evie smiles at him, a shy blush forming on her face, thinking that he was cute. "Hi, Alex."

"W-What are you doing here? I thought no one knew about this place." Alex asked her, pushing his wet hair out of his face while he mentally scolded himself for sounding so nervous.

"Um, I asked Luna where you were because I wanted to talk to you." Evie nervously replied with a shy smile on her lips. Alex nodded and tilted his head to the side, confused at why she would want to talk to him, but he was happy to see her.

The brunette-haired boy holds his board under his left arm, looking at her with raised eyebrows. "Why do you wanna talk to me?"

"Well, me and my friends made some cookies last night." Evie shows him the bag of chocolate chip cookies in her hand. "I was wondering if you would want one."  Alex couldn't help the smile that tugs on his lips, thinking it was sweet of her to offer one.

"Y-Yeah," Alex nods. "I would love one." He takes the cookie she handed him. "Thanks." He smiled at her and he took a bite out of the cookie.

"So, um," Evie bites her lower lip and Alex was confused as to why she looks nervous. "Feel any different?"

Alex shrugs, taking another bite of the cookie. "I feel great." He smiles at the cookie he held. "This cookie is really good." He went to take another bite, but Evie quickly grabbed the cookie from him.

Evie nervously chuckles. "I think that's enough." She muttered and she put it back in the bag.

Alex couldn't help but stare at her with an awestruck expression, getting lost in her eyes. "Wow."

"What?" Evie looked at him with a raised eyebrow, having a feeling that the love spell was working.

"Y-Your eyes are just really pretty." Alex stuttered out a response, his face was tinted pink as the smile on his lips grew.

Evie knew it was the love spell talking, but she couldn't help the butterflies she felt swarming in her stomach. "T-Thanks, but don't you have a game to get ready for?"

"Oh. Yeah, that's right." Alex replied, but he didn't move, and a small giggle escaped Evie's lips.

"Uh, Alex." Evie points in the direction the school is. "The game." She reminded him.

The brunette-haired boy's eyes grew wide in realization. "R-Right! Yeah. I'll see you later."

The next thing that happened surprised both of them and it happened so fast. Alex kissed her cheek. Evie reached up to touch the place on her cheek where Alex's lips were a few seconds ago, feeling her face heat up. She watched Alex run back to the shack to get ready for the game with a surprise expression even though a smile formed on her lips. She couldn't believe he just kissed her on the cheek.

"Wait, wait, wait. You kissed Evie on the cheek?"

"I think I kissed Evie on the cheek." Alex told Corey in the locker room before the Tourney Game.

Corey raises an eyebrow as he sits up from tying his cleats. "You think you kissed her on the cheek?" He shakes his head, running his hand through his brunette-colored hair. "Dude, either it happened or it didn't."

"It happened so fast, okay?" Alex sighed as the event replaying in his mind. Corey rolled his eyes when he noticed the dreamy expression on his best friend's face.

Alex snaps out of his gaze, shaking his head. He runs a hand through his brown colored hair, not knowing what to do. "I kissed her on the cheek. I don't even know why I did it."

Corey looks at him with confusion. "I thought you like her."

"I do. A lot." Alex nodded. He sighed, following the team to the entrance that led them to the Tourney field beside Corey.

"Then what's the problem?" Corey asked him, not understanding why his best friend was freaking out about this.

Alex went to open his mouth to reply, but the announcer interrupted him, signaling them that the game was about to start. "I'll tell you later." Alex told him.

Corey looks at him with furrowed eyebrows, wanting to know what he was about to say, but decided not to talk about it anymore and nodded. They ran out onto the field along with the team when they were called out.

Soon the game was over with them as the winning team thanks to Ben scoring the winning goal. Alex was surprised that Jay and Carlos actually didn't do that bad in the game, but was glad that they were having fun. He cheered along with his teammates, going over to his brother.

"Great shot, bro!" He patted him on the shoulder, a proud smile on his face and Ben smiled back at him.

The cheerleaders went out onto the field, congratulating the team as the other team and their audience headed home.

"Guys, that was such a great game!" Phoebe exclaimed, hugging Alex and Corey. She was the only one out of their friend group that was a cheerleader and she was actually one of the best ones they had.

"Thanks, Pheebs!" Alex and Corey smiled.

"You did great with cheering, too!" Corey playfully elbowed her, looking at her with a smile.

She smiles brightly at him. "Thanks, Cor."

The three of them look over, surprise to see Alex's brother talking into the announcer's microphone. They watched with confusion as he spells out Mal, and the crowd repeats it.

"I love you, Mal, did I mention that?" Ben asked, and some of the people in the crowd awed. He then pointed to Doug, who started playing music along with the rest of the band.

"What has gotten into your brother?" Phoebe asked with a laugh when Ben started singing to Mal.

Alex let out a laugh. "I have no idea." He shook his head, wondering what happened to Ben. He never knew that Ben could sing or dance. And he had to admit it was quite amusing.

At the end of the song, Ben had crowd surfed his way to Mal, and even asked her to be his date to his Coronation. Alex was even more surprised when she said yes. Alex rolled his eyes whenever Audrey announced that Chad was now her boyfriend and was going to the Coronation with him.

He also didn't fail to notice the upset look on Evie's face when Audrey kissed Chad, and he frowned. At that moment, he then knew that he was going to ask Evie to be his date to the Coronation and only hoped he wouldn't get rejected or make a fool of himself in front of her again.
