Chapter One
Roger That Soldier

3rd Person POV

mal stared at her sister in her doorway as her sister moved figures around and voiced over them. she leaned against the doorway in amusement with a smirk on her face . she would bully her for this but her spider-man pin on her backpack and the patch on the butt cheek of her pants said differently

"this is cute" she spoke as the video ended and their mother called
up for them

"coming , ammi" they called together as they walked downstairs to see their brother praying

"driving test, good luck sis" she said as she ruffled kamala's hair and she let her walk out of the house

"why does kamala need her drivers licenses when mal
already had hers?" he asked

"it's easier with both of them having it" munneba exclaimed and Malika twirled her keys around on her finger as she scrolled through twitter and liked any post of spider-man she saw. she looked up to see her mother and father walking out of the house on worry

"do they just not tell us anything?" mal asked as she shoved the last slice of banana in her mouth and she put in her phone in her pocket. she went back up to her room as Kamala came in and face planted into her bed

"bad test?" mal asked

"i hit another car" she exclaimed and mal laughed

"it's alright buddy, you'll get it next time. now let's go we have school" she said and she got up out of the chair at her desk. she grabbed her sister and they walked outside to her car. they drove to school and she parked; they walked inside and separated until bruno came over with their slushee

"bruno my savior" Mal said and Bruno smiled as she took the slushee and she took a deep drink of it

"and kamala, rough morning all around . had a bet your we're gonna pass, so now i'm out 10 bucks" he exclaimed and mal chuckled under her breathe

"i told my mom to stop texting you guys" Kamala said and mal
spoke up

"she didn't , i did" she exclaimed with an evil smirk on her face and kamala shoved her lightly. bruno helped her back to her spot with a smile on his face

"so i guess we're not going to avenger-con" was where mal entered back into the conversation

"oh hell no, my spider-man outfit is way to good for me to not wear and two, this is a cosplay competition for carol danvers and spider-man at the greatest dan event of the year" Mal explained

"i'm sorry i really do love you" nakia said to kamala as she got the 10 bucks form bruno and mal laughed

"alright this is where i split off, see ya" she said as she saluted them and she walked away to her class. she sat down and she stared at the whiteboard as kamala was called to the office by mr.wilson and she laughed under her breathe

"idiot" she exclaimed and she sat in the class as the teacher droined on and she ignored it the whole time. she only wrote what she needed to. that was until the end of the day. she got in the car with kamala and she drove to bruno's

"BRUNO" she called as she walked into the shop and he smiled at her

"so you're bringing us to avenger con right?" he asked and she nodded

" i have a drivers license but you know our mom? so i will
bring you if she says yes, hopefully she says yes though because my cosplay is truly beautiful " mal said and she smiled

" i need to see it" he said and she nodded

"you will, soon enough. now let's go" she said and she got in her car as she got in the car with them and they started to talk. she ignored their conversation as she got in the car , she dropped her sister off and drove back as she dropped bruno off and then she drove back again.

she walked inside and went up to her room. kamala walked in and she laid down on mals bed

"moms forcing me to go on errands, pray for me" she said and she got up as she left her sisters room

"oh she is so odd" she said and she went to her desk as she grabbed her phone. she called bruno and he answered on the second ring

"are you still coming over?" she asked and he nodded

"yeah i'll be over soon, i just have to grab a few things" he exclaimed and she nodded

"please hurry, this is hell and i'm lonely" she stated and he saluted her jokingly

"roger that soldier" he said and he ended the call. 20 minutes later, there's a knock on her bedroom door and she looks up to see him looking at her

"you look so lonely" he said and she smiled at him

"have you asked your mom?" he asked and she sighed

"i haven't but i will later, do you have to do something?" she asked and he nodded

"yeah i'm leaving but just ask" he said and he kissed her cheek before he walked out of the room . she stared at the ceiling and that was when kamala walked in again

"do you ever knock?" she questioned and kamala shook her head

"not anymore, mom and dad said no to avenger-con" kamala said and mal nodded

"was there a fight?" she asked

"isn't there always?" kamala retorted and mal sighed

"hey it sucks, we can sneak out. i'll drive us but you, you have to come up with a plan" mal stated and kamala nodded

"i will, i always do. we are going to avenger-con" she exclaimed and with that, she stood up and she went to her room.

that was until twk hours when she heard fighting and she walked out of her room to see kamala with her parents

"it is so humiliating" Kamala said and mal smacked her forehead, she couldn't believe her sister

"yeah there's no way we're going now" she exclaimed and she got dressed as she went downstairs and called bruno

"hey where are you?" she asked

"i'm going to hang out with your sister, why?" he said and she sighed

"oh it's uh it's nothing have fun with my sister" she said and she ended the call as she went back upstairs to her room and she laid down on her bed. she looked outside of her window and she saw bruno fighting with her sister on the roof

"why not me?" she exclaimed. she fell asleep and then next morning, she drove herself to school. she went through out the day and the motions until she got home and kamala went into her toom

"i have a plan, school tomorrow. meet me and bruno at our lockers" kamala said and she left her sisters room. the next day, mal woke up and she went to the school: she walked to kamala's locker and she stared at them

"so the plan?" mal asked and bruno smiled at her

"hi lika" he exclaimed and she smiled at him

"hi b" she said and kamala started to explain the plan. they went throughout the whole day meeting when they could to talk about the plan

"you know we have my car right? we are taking my car, that's it, that's the plan" Mal exclaimed and bruno nodded

"all this and you're just thinking about your car" kamala said

"okay wait you guys should have something of yourself in the costume" bruno said and mal agreed

"yeah you're right" mal said and later that night , they went back home. they went into the attic and looked around. kamala found a bracelet and mal found a necklace . they took it and went to bed.

the next day, they went throughout the whole day until they went through with the plan.

"let's go" mal said as she got in the car with kamala and they went to pick up bruno. they drove to the event and got out

"alright let's go kittys" she exclaimed and they walked into the building. mal went to the bathroom as she changed into her cosplay. everything was fit to her; the necklace shone through her costume

"wow you look wow" bruno said as he stared at her

"well thank you bruno whatever that means" she exclaimed and bruno smiled at her. kamala went into the bathroom and she changed. she got on the stage and was hit with the flashing lights. she looked down at her sisters hands and then she looked down at her necklace

water flowed out of her hands in a free motion meeting her sisters in the middle. their powers hit and they looked at each other as their powers merged and became something else. she stared at her sister and then she looked at bruno

"bruno" she cried and he ran over to her

"i need you to breathe mal, breathe" he said and she nodded as she took a deep breathe and the water stopped flowing. hers sister kept going , it hit the antman head and all hell broke loose

mal ran out with bruno and they waited for kamala. once she came out, they got in the car and drove home. bruno got his bike out from the trunk and they snuck back into their rooms

"bye b" she called down and he smiled up at her

"bye mal" he said and she climbed in through her window. she closed it and looked around. she laid down on her bed and kamala came in

she laid down on her chest and she lifted her hand as mal lifted hers

"kam?" she exclaimed

"yeah?" she asked

"we have powers" she said with a smile on her face as the water floated on her hand and the light came out of kamala's

maybe they could be the superhero's they didn't grow up with
