Escapade
Our feet slapped against the floor loudly, whirling out of the door. Lux stumbled as he tried to stay with our paces, opening his mouth to ask most likely a million questions. Ahsoka put a finger on her mouth, dashing out in front of us. There was a shot of pain through my ankle, but I have learned that when running away from someone, injuries don't matter. Out of no where, the three of us skidded to a stop. The housekeeper jutted out her lips, smacking them so that globs of spit dribbled down her chin. I hid my disgust as she slowly revealed the blaster in her holster, her features squishing to a smirk. "Where do you young people think you're going? You haven't even stayed the night, can't you accept my hospitality?" I frown, glowering at her, fingers itching at the blade hidden in my shoes.
"Who hired you?"
She rolled her eyes, whipping the blaster out in a flash. For an elderly woman, I am shocked at how fast her reflexes are. "I wanted the credits. I needed the credits. I heard about a bounty on the three of you..." She clicked her tongue, aiming towards my forehead. "And I wasn't about to pass a chance to get rich." Ahsoka moved with a speed that I hadn't seen in awhile in an individual, and threw the woman on to the ground. Her eyes flashed anger as her hands lifted, the woman lifting with her motion. I stepped back, afraid at the change of emotion. I forget sometimes that she is no longer considered a Jedi, therefore how she reacts will be different than expected. Her voice lowered to a raspy growl, her feet shuffling towards the old woman's direction as a grin surpassed her intimidating expression.
"I'm not going to ask again. I suggest you start talking now. Who..." With a gentle squeeze, the woman's hands began to flail to her neck. Her eyes seemed to pop out a little. Lux went to open his mouth, but I held his arm back. The darker side of me began to show as I watched in awe, the housekeeper's body twirling around in the air with ease. "Hired you." A few more coughs left the woman's lips before she whispered out a sentence.
"....You think that you can win this? That the Jedi will win?" Even in her circumstances, she managed a cold chuckle. "He was right, you young fools. The darkness will arise, the light will fall!" Ahsoka's demeanor shuddered, the grin on her victim widening ever so slightly. "He will rule you, me. He will rule all."
And in seconds, her entire body disappeared.
