"Why didn't you mention that the Hunters were after us?" snarled Torren.

"Because I didn't want you guys to worry! Besides, they seemed far away at the time!" you resorted.

"I don't care if they were in the Underground! You should have told me!"

You roll your eyes. You knew that Torren was pissed, and you understood why, though arguing continuously was wearing you down, not to mention the fact that Tila kept on whining every two seconds that she was thirsty.

"Why can't I just eat the snow?" moaned Tila.

"Because it could be bad for you."

"Like I care." muttered Tila before picking up a handful of snow.

"If you eat that snow you wont get any food tonight!"

Tila rolls her eyes before eating a little bit of the snow.

You suddenly stop and turn around to face Tila. "That's it! Your not getting anything tonight!"

"Hey! You can't do that! It's not fair!"

You slowly walk towards Tila before locking gazes with her. "You want to know what's not fair? What's not fair is that you left the water canteens behind! What's not fair is that you keep on whining about water! Look around you! We're all thirsty, we're all hungry, and we're all sick of yo--."

Before you could finish your sentence Torren tackled you to the ground just as an arrow flew through the air, missing you by a centimetre. You both roll down a pile of snow that had been created by recent snowfall. Tila quickly dashes behind the pile of snow, followed by Jasper.

Torren slowly crept up the pile before sliding back down. "Shit, this is not good. Were outnumbered.....Not to mention the fact that we are pretty much out in the open."

"Maybe we could set a surprise attack." you suggest.

"Problem is that they already know we're here."

Yeh, but if Tila uses her shadow mimic ability then maybe we can trick them into thinking we have moved." you turn to look at Tila. "Think you can use it long enough out of battle?"

"No." answered Tila bluntly.

You stayed silent, confused by Tila's rudeness.

"Well, erm......I guess we are just going to have to fight them head on." stated Torren.

You all waited in silence for what seemed like forever until you could hear the crunch of footsteps. You and Jasper were on one side of the snow pile while Torren and Tila were on the other.

All four of you burst out from behind the pile of snow.

As you approached one of the Hunters a blue and red heart appeared in front of you and a grey one appeared in front of the human. Everything around you turned black as a health bar appeared behind both you and the human as you engaged in combat.

"I'm going to kill you!" snarled the human before charging at you with a sword.

The human attacked you twice. You dodged the first attack but the second attack just caught your right shoulder. You health droped. 19/20.
These guys are definitely pros, the last ones could hardy touch me. Guess I shouldn't be lenient and make sure I get the job done. After all, it's not like I can spare any of them.

Thing is......Humans are different....You can always spare a Monster......but with Humans it's just not the same.....In the Overworld only Monsters can be spared.....With Humans you can only kill them or flee....There is no spare....

I look at the Human and sigh. If only they would just leave us alone.....If only Humans and Monsters wouldn't fight.....
I really need to stop all this wishful thinking.....Its not going to get me anywhere.

Your eyes started to glow an even stronger blue as you balled your hand into a fist. The air around you seemed to cool even more, large shards of ice beginning to form around you. You raise your arm up before opening your fist. On command the spikes shifted, heading straight for the human.

The human managed to dodge a fair few spikes but the sheer multitude of spikes was too much for them to dodge. Once the human had been struck by one spike it seemed to throw them off causing them to be struck by several others. For the human it practically spelled the end of their life.

Even though the humans hp was very low they would not flee, instead they continued to attack.

You dodge the human's attacks before dealing a critical hit with an ice shard bringing the human's health to 0. You watched as the human fell to the floor, not really feeling any pity. After all you knew that any of the Hunters were void of any emotion.

The black void that surrounded both of you began to fade away. You looked around and saw Torren, and Tila fighting two of the Hunters, while Jasper kept on repeatedly fleeing as he refused to hurt anyone.

You jump to the side as you see a hammer looming above you. The ground shakes as the hammer strikes the ground. You look up and see a large human above you, hammer in hand. Unlike the rest he had emotion though his soul was still grey like the rest.

The area around you blackened once more as you engaged in combat. You knew this battle would be more challenging, after all, you were facing the leader of their group. He swings his hammer at you a few times. His attacks were slow making them easy to dodge however if he did hit you it would be a crippling blow and would definitely deal critical damage. You sent large spikes of ice out from the ground which smashed with little effort.

As you were about to attack once again you felt the snow shudder violently underfoot. Suddenly the darkness around you disappeared and was replaced by a wall of snow that was rushing towards you. Torren called out to you but his words were muffled by the roar of the snow as it rushed towards you. There was no time to react as you were swept up by the snow and thrown straight off the mountainside.

The area around you flew past in a blur as you fell. You couldn't see anyone....None of your friends.....For the first time you felt truly alone......Even your soul had deserted you.
Is this really the end? Is this how I go out.....? Alone....Again.....Just like I was in the beginning?
Suddenly everything seemed to freeze around you. You saw something flash above you, and from out of it reached a skeletal hand that grabbed your wrist.

"Sans?" you called out.

"The one and bonely!" he responded.

Everything went black around you, then out of the darkness you saw all three of your friends......

And it filled you with DETERMINATION!
