ROUSSEAU'S

Morning around 5:00 AM. Marcel, Josh, Gia, along with Marcel's vampire army, are enjoying themselves with drinks and partying.

"I'm gonna over sleep when I get back home." Gia said.

"How's Marion?" Marcel asked.

"She's fine, she's sleep with her favorite plush teddy bear and plush unicorn. Max is at home too after his meeting." Gia said.

"You should head home. I'll see you around." Marcel said.

"Alright." Gia said. "Goodbye, Josh."

"Goodbye, Gia." Josh said. "Say "Hi" to Little Marion for me."

"I will." Gia said, getting up and walks away.

"You should know that everyone talks about you, Marcel." Josh said.

"Yeah, I know. What else is new?" Marcel said.

"I mean, they talk about you, like, you're the guy with a lethal bite and everything." Josh said.

Marcel and Josh exchange looks at each other.

And then, Marcel hears Christy's voice telepathically in his mind.

"Marcel?" Christy telepathically spoke to her best friend in his mind.

"You okay?" Josh asked.

"Yeah, Christy is here." Marcel said.

Which makes Josh perk up a little. "She is?"

"Yeah, she is." Marcel said. "I'll be right back."

Marcel walks out of the bar and looks around.

"Marcel?" Christy said, slowly walks in the alleyway.

Marcel and Christy exchange small smiles at each other.

"Christy." Marcel said.

The two best friends shares a hug and exchange another small smiles at each other.

"How've you been?" Marcel asked.

"I've been good." Christy told him. "How's everything here in the French Quarter?"

"This is the French Quarter, same old same old." Marcel said.

"Yeah." Christy agreed.

"So, are you officially back home or just temporary?" Marcel asked.

"Just temporary." Christy told him. "I figured you, Elijah and Klaus can handle things, but maybe, I can help take some of the load off."

"I appreciate that." Marcel said.

"How are you and Rebekah?" Christy asked.

"Rebekah and I have made amends and she told me that you were the person that gave her some advice to pursue a relationship, and so, she finally gave in, thanks to you." Marcel said.

Marcel and Christy exchange small smiles at each other. And she glances at Marcel's wedding ring on his left hand ring finger.

"Nice wedding ring." Christy complimented with a small smile. "You and Rebekah finally tied the knot."

"Yeah, thanks to you." Marcel said. "I have to say, Christy, you're an amazing best friend."

"So are you, Marcel." Christy said. "I'll see you around."

"You as well." Marcel said.

Marcel and Christy shares a hug and she walks away.

Later that day, in the study, Freya is reclining on the sofa, studying some more grimoires.

Christy slowly walks inside the study. "Hi, Freya."

Freya looks at her sister-in-law, Christy, with a small smile. "Christy?"

Freya and Christy exchange small smiles at each other. Freya walks up to her and they share a hug.

"You're not officially back home yet, aren't you?" Freya asked.

"Not really." Christy told her, sitting on the arm of the armchair. "I just came to check on you guys and other things."

"Yeah, that's understandable." said Freya, sitting on the couch.

"You know, it's 5:26 AM, normally, there's sleep." Christy said.

"I know, but normally, somehow, I lack a little sleep, knowing anything could happen." Freya said.

"Don't jinx it, Freya." Christy said.

"I won't." Freya said.

Freya and Christy exchange small smiles at each other.

"Klaus is out and about, but he'll be back in a minute." Freya said.

"Okay, what's bothering him this time?" Christy said.

"His crazy ex-girlfriend, Charlotte Petrova." Freya told her. "Marcalos resurrected her to provoke him."

"That and to push his buttons." Christy said.

"Yeah." Freya said.

"Christy?" Klaus said.

Both Freya and Christy looks at Klaus, who has just walked inside the study.

"Hi, Honey." Christy greeted her husband with a small smile.

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other, which Freya notices and small smiles to herself.

"I'm gonna be at the St. Louis Cathedral." said Freya and excuses herself.

Klaus walks up to her and they hug each other with Christy chuckled softly to herself.

Klaus and Christy exchange looks at each other and they share a passionate kiss.

"I've missed you." Klaus said.

"I've missed you too. But I don't want to destroy your joy bubble." Christy said.

"Your visit is temporary, isn't it?" Klaus asked.

"Yeah." Christy told him. "I came to help out with anything."

"Does Luna and Trinity know you're here?" Klaus asked.

"Not yet, but I'm gonna see them and tell them about my temporary visit." Christy said. "And Freya told me about Charlotte Petrova."

"Bloody hell." Klaus said.

"I know." Christy said.

"You know what, I don't want to talk about Charlotte, I would rather talk about you." Klaus said, gently leaning backwards against the desk. "How's everything at Mount Orasani?"

"Same old as usual." Christy said and slowly walks up to her husband and gently runs her hand in his hair. "How about you?"

"I'm fine. I'm just happy to see you after eight weeks apart." Klaus said.

"Yeah, me too." Christy said.

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other.

ROUSSEAU'S

That afternoon, Max and Christy are sitting at the bar counter with their drinks of bottle of hard ciders.

"You drink hard cider too?" Christy asked him.

"I do." Max said. "But I'm glad that we have this moment for a friendly drink."

"Yeah, me too." Christy said.

"Do we remember when we were little kids, we would play with the fennec foxes with Hagarth and we would feed them?" Max asked.

"Yeah. The fennec foxes are so cute." Christy said. "Luna and Trinity have a pet fennec fox named Felix."

"Really? I think Marion would love to have one to keep her occupied." Max said.

"Yeah, I'm sure Mar would love it. It'll be a gift from her father and her Auntie Christy." Christy said.

Both Max and Christy exchange thoughtful looks at each other.

"I thought of it first." Max and Christy said in unison with small smiles.

Max and Christy exchange playful chuckles with each other.

MAX'S AND GIA'S PENTHOUSE

In the living room, Gia and a 6-year old, Marion, are sitting on the couch, playing video games on the PlayStation game console.

The double doors opens, Max and Christy walks inside and the double doors closes.

"Hi, Daddy. Hi, Auntie Christy." Marion greeted her father and Auntie.

"Hey, Mar." Christy greeted her niece.

Gia and Marion finishes their video game with Marion victory.

"I won." Marion said, excited.

"Yeah, you did." Gia said.

Gia and Marion high-fives each other with smiles.

"Mar?" Max said to his daughter. "Your Auntie Christy and I have a little surprise for you."

"What is it?" Marion asked.

"What do you think about the fennec foxes?" Christy asked, sitting on the arm of the armchair.

"They're really pretty. Especially, the ears and the little nose." said Marion.

Gia small smiles to herself. "We have a pet fennec fox?"

"Yep." Max said, crouching down on the carpet floor, gently sets down a rectangular gift box on the carpet floor and opens it.

A fennec fox pops his head out, which makes Marion gasps, surprised.

"A fennec fox." Marion said.

"Your father and I talked about it and we both came up with the idea of getting you guys a pet fennec fox." Christy said.

Marion gently soothes the fennec fox's head with her hand. The fennec fox calms itself and slowly walks up to Marion.

"Thanks, Daddy. Thanks, Auntie Christy." Marion thanked her father and her Auntie.

"You're welcome, Mar." Max said.

"And we can Google search what fennec foxes eat." Gia said.

"Okay." Marion said. "I'm gonna name the fennec fox Newt."

"Newt fennec fox. Sounds nice." Christy said.

And Marion walks away with Newt fennec fox slowly walks after her, going into her room.

Max, Gia and Christy exchange looks at each other.

"Have you two thought about another child?" Christy asked.

"We appreciate the suggestion, Christy, but Marion is everything." Gia said.

"Okay. I'm gonna leave you guys for some family time." Christy said, and gets up. "I'll see you guys around."

"You too, love you." Gia said.

"Love you guys too." Christy said, walking away.

That evening, in the courtyard, Luna and Trinity are sitting on the couch, drawing in their sketchbooks.

Christy slowly walks inside. Luna and Trinity looks at their mother and becomes happy.

"Mom?" Luna said.

"Hey, sweethearts." Christy greeted her daughters.

Luna and Trinity wolf-sped up to their mother. The mother and daughters shares a hug.

"It's good to see you, Mom." Trinity said.

"It's good to see you guys too." Christy said to her daughters. "However, I still have some business to do at Mount Orasani, but I came to help your father with things."

"Oh, okay." Luna said. "Even though, you're here temporarily, at least, Trinity and I are happy to see you."

"Me too." Christy said.

Christy, Luna and Trinity exchange small smiles at each other.

shortly after . . .

Christy, Luna and Trinity are sitting atop a table, eating blueberry pop tarts.

"How's Bassea?" Luna asked.

"She's fine. She's getting her pregnancy nutritions." Christy said.

"Is the baby a girl or boy?" Trinity asked.

"The baby's a girl." Christy said.

"Have Vek and Bassea decided on any baby girl names yet?" Trinity asked.

"Umm, I don't know yet, but I'll asks them when I see them." Christy said.

"Okay." Luna said. "Marion sent Trinity and I a picture of her fennec fox. She named it "Newt", it's really cool."

"Yeah, how's Felix fennec fox?" Christy asked. "Is he getting into stuff?"

"Felix has been climbing into my computer desk, but makes a little mess, but he doesn't make that much mess." Trinity said.

"Well, that's good." Christy said.

Christy, Luna and Trinity exchange chuckles with each other.

And then, Klaus slowly walks inside.

"Hey, Dad." Trinity greeted her father with a small smile.

"Hi, Trinity." Klaus greeted his younger daughter. "You two mind if I borrow your mother?"

"Yeah, sure, Dad, Mom's all yours." Luna said, gently leaps off the table along with Trinity.

"Just keep the lovey-dovey stuff at a low minimum." Luna said, playful teased her father with a playful smile.

Christy chuckled softly to herself and so does Klaus.

"I was just playing." Luna said.

"We know." Christy said.

Luna and Trinity walks up the stairs and walks away.

Klaus and Christy exchange looks at each other and she finishes eating her pop tart.

"What is it, Hon?" Christy asked.

"I was pondering if we could spend some time together." Klaus said.

"Sure." Christy said.

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other.

FRENCH QUARTER

That evening, Klaus and Christy are taking a stroll together. She's nibbling on two beignets in a paper tray.

"Do you think that Charlotte is gonna pull something to get your attention?" Christy asked her husband.

"Maybe." replied Klaus.

"The ex-girlfriends that you had in your life." Christy said.

Klaus chuckled softly to himself. "Yeah, I've had my fair share of romances. But you're the woman for me, Chris. Always will be."

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other and they walks other to a bench and sits down next to each other and shares the beignets together by nibbling on it.

"We should plan another date." Klaus said.

"Really?" Christy said, giving him a look. "You're planning another romantic date when things are gonna get hectic and crappy?"

"Well, in between things getting hectic and crappy, we can make short moments." Klaus said.

"Well, I'd love to go on a romantic date with you." Christy said.

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other and proceeds to nibble on the two beignets together.

Later that night, in Luna's room, she and Trinity are playing a board game of Monopoly on the floor.

Christy slowly walks up to the doorway with her training dummy. "Luna? Trinity?"

The sisters looks up at their mother.

"Hey, Mom." Luna greeted her with a small smile. "What's with your training dummy?"

"Do you guys know how to do CPR?" Christy asked.

"A little." Trinity replied.

Christy slowly walks inside Luna's room and gently sits down on the carpet floor and gently lays her training dummy in between the three of them.

"Show me." Christy said.

"Okay." Luna said and performs CPR on the training dummy twice.

"Very good, Lu." Christy complimented her oldest daughter and looks at Trinity. "Trin?"

Trinity performs CPR on the training dummy twice as well.

"Very good, Trinity." Christy complimented her youngest daughter. "Now, let's say a person was pulled to shore after almost drowned. What's the first step to do in CPR?"

"Check a person's breathing to see if they are responsive or not." Luna said.

"Luna? Trinity? CPR is important in a life or death situation. And yes, you will be scared and at first, but you both can pull it off, okay?" Christy said.

"Yes, ma'am." Trinity said.

"Okay. Now try again." Christy said.

Luna goes first, performing CPR on the training dummy and then, Trinity does the same.

From the doorway, Klaus looks at his wife and daughters and small smiles to himself, observing his wife mentoring their daughters with skills that can help them.

And he slowly walks away.
