The next day, Ana and Christy are taking a stroll together, admiring the parade floats for the parade.

"I like the floats." Ana complimented as she admires the witches floats and the Crescent Wolves float as well. "They're really cool."

"Yeah, I like them. We both helped out with The Crescents." Christy said.

Ana and Christy exchange small smiles at each other. Christy's wrist comm buzzes in her pants pocket.

Christy takes out her wrist comm.

"Oh, no." Ana said.

"Not to worry, Ana." Christy said, and answers her wrist comm. Nurse Giannis shows up on the wrist comm screen. "Giannis? Is everything okay?"

"Everything's fine, Milady. I just thought you should know that Bassea has given birth to a healthy baby girl." Giannis told Christy with a smile.

"Oh my gosh." Christy said with a happy smile. "Tell Vek and Bassea I'll see them after I'm finished with things here."

"I will." Giannis said, and hangs up her wrist comm.

And Christy puts her wrist comm back in her pants pocket.

"So, what to do while we wait for the afternoon parade to start?" Ana asked.

"We can eat snack food." Christy suggested. "It's morning, so, we can eat crepes or something?"

"Crepe sounds good." Ana said.

"Yep." Christy said.

Ana and Christy heads over to the French Quarter café

FRENCH QUARTER CAFÉ

Later that day, Ana and Christy are sitting at a table with their plates of crepes.

"These crepes are really good." Christy said, taking a bite of her flaky thin crepe.

"It's our usual breakfast crepe." Ana said.

"Yeah." Christy said.

"Did Klaus tell you about Charlotte Petrova?" Ana asked.

"He was going to, but Freya told me that she was resurrected by Marcalos." Christy told her.

"Why is Marcalos resurrecting people from Klaus's past?" Ana asked.

"Marcalos is using Klaus's past to cause a wedge between me and him. And yes, it's worked for a while, but Klaus and I eventually find our way back to each other." Christy said.

"Just like Marcalos resurrected Aurora and Klaus could barely deal with her. So, now, with Charlotte Petrova, another crazy ex-girlfriend, do you think your husband and handle her too?" Ana asked.

"He said he can." Christy said.

"But?" Ana said.

Ana and Christy exchange looks at each other and Christy sighs to herself.

"We both already know that Charlotte Petrova is already dead and that she has 24 hours before she burst into flames and flames out, going back to Marcalos's Underworld Palace." Ana said. "So, do you really think that Klaus could bring himself to destroy Charlotte?"

Ana and Christy exchange looks at each other.

"I'm not trying to put any doubts on your mind, BooBabe. I know how much you and Klaus loves each other and the two of you has a strong bond. But as your best friend, you know how things tend to stir up when one of Klaus's ex-girlfriends is resurrected and the strong bond is strained again." Ana said.

"I know, Ana. I trust Klaus. He said he'll deal with Charlotte, he'll handle her." Christy said.

"But Charlotte can get to him. She has her ways of getting to Klaus and wiggles herself through his guard. But like I said, I'm not trying to put any doubts, I'm just saying."

"I know and I get it." Christy said.

FRENCH QUARTER STREET

That afternoon, everyone is enjoying the parade. Musicians plays their instruments as they slowly walks in the parade.

On the parade floats, the witches are bead necklaces at the crowd.

And on the Crescent parade floats, Callahan, Keelin and Christy are gently tossing candy goodie bags at the crowd.

"This is so awesome." Trinity said.

"Yeah, it is, Squirt." Luna said to her little sister.

"I still can't believe you called me that." Trinity said.

"I've been calling you "Squirt" since you were a toddler." Luna said.

Trinity rolls her eyes with a scoff.

"Besides, you and Mom call me "Lu", and your other nickname is "Trin", which is pretty cool." Luna said.

Luna and Trinity exchange playful chuckles with each other and as they continue to gently toss the candy goodie bags.

after awhile . . .

The parade carries on. On a Crescent Wolves parade float, Christy is snacking on some yogurt pretzel, sitting down a bench.

"Christy?" Ana said.

Christy looks at Ana and small smiles at her. "What? There's some more candy goodie bags left."

"Yeah, I know." Ana said with a playful small smile, showing Christy her own candy goodie bag. "Luna and Trinity has one."

"That's good." Christy said.

Ana slowly walks up to Christy and sits down next to her on the bench.

"I know you're leaving after the parade is over, but I'm glad that you were here to enjoy it." said Ana.

"Me too." Christy said.

Ana and Christy exchange small smiles at each other and enjoys the rest of the parade.

MIKAELSON COMPOUND

Later that evening, in the courtyard, Ana, Christy, Luna and Trinity are sitting on the couch, eating popcorn.

"Hope you gals enjoyed the parade." Klaus said.

"We did. We had fun." Trinity said.

Christy's wrist comm buzzes in her pants pocket. She takes out her wrist comm and looks at it.

"You have to go, don't you, Mom?" Luna said, already knowing.

"Yeah, I do." Christy said. "But I enjoyed the parade."

Christy and Trinity exchange small smiles at each other.

Christy gets up, putting her wrist comm back in her pants pocket.

"How long will you be gone?" Klaus asked.

"I don't know." Christy told him. "Maybe, not too long."

Klaus and Christy exchange looks at each other.

"I'll be fine, Klaus." Christy reassured her husband with a small smile and pecks a kiss on his right cheek and walks away.

Now, upstairs in Klaus's and Christy's bedroom, Christy has packed her laptop and binder in her backpack.

Klaus slowly walks inside. Christy looks at him, and puts her backpack on her right shoulder.

"Are you sure you're gonna be okay while I'm away?" Christy asked, concerned.

"I'll be fine." Klaus reassured her. "You know, it's gonna be like an empty void without you being around."

"I know, Hon." Christy said. She slowly walks up to him and gently cups his face with her hands. "Don't cause trouble or give anyone trouble while I'm gone."

"I'll try not to." Klaus said.

Christy gently removes her hands from Klaus's face and pecks a kiss on his left cheek and walks away.
