Ugh...... my head feels heavy......

The Rain Dance, the Kymari, the branch snapping and us falling down... it's all flooding back. I let sleep overtake me once more...

I woke up again, and my mind is much more clear than last time. Taking a look around, I recognized that I had been sleeping in my burrow. Lucy is sleeping against my side, along with Peter and Bailey.

They must have really freaked out then.

I lengthened my neck to get a better look at them. Peter's lilac body has three tiny pods on them, a good sign that kits are forming healthily. Judging from the lime-green leaf across his face, he tried to get his old sleeping habit back again.

Underneath that leaf is a beige stripe, which used to be an eye pillow. His hind legs are bare spots, mainly because he was wearing shorts during that fateful day.

Bailey still has that taffy-pink coloring, his chest being a deformed rose-red heart. There are still small red spots around that area though, because it was designed to be a giant heart with smaller ones surrounding it.

Lucy is still that same snowy light blue, paler than ever. She was almost like a diamond, which came to my revenge. If she could call me Kaleidoscope, I could call her Diamond.

Suddenly a hot-pink slime cat broke in, faintly glowing neon green. There are black lash-like marks under their eyes as if they were crying recently. When their graze saw me though, a warm expression came onto their face.

"How are you feeling?" They asked with a calm voice.

"Better, just woke up,"

"Good. Your mom is feeling way better too,"

Holy fuck. I sprang up and dashed to her burrow, leaving the pinky to eat my dust. Not that she was chasing me or anything, but just sayin. Coming to her burrow entrance, there were several get well gifts waiting for her to store.

Our gifts are mainly comprised of fruits and flowers. We're probably going to make them more secretive now that them Kymari know we exist.

Coming to my gray and red tailed mom, she was melted on her mossy bed. My presence made her eyes fall on me.

"Hello,"

"Hi mom," I wisp, scratching her head gently. She purred in response. We can purr, or our names would make zero sense.

"Delighted to know I'm feeling better?"

"Heck yes! I understand if you want some alone time..."

"Yeah, I would, you're an adult now so... yeah."

"Oh. Right," my heart sank a little. I know that I'm an adult and everything, but still a little immature.

"See you around mom," I said as I left her nook. She lazily waved in response.

Returning to my burrow, the three friends haven't moved at all. Peter is twitching a little bit though... I gave him a tiny nip on the ear.

That definitely got him up. His eyes widened once my face got upfront at him.

"When did you get up?" He gasped.

"Dunno. Maybe five minutes ago,"

"Seems reasonable," he sighed, leaning on Bailey.

Then one of the cutest things I've ever seen happened. Peter nuzzled his cheeks against the pink cat, purring contently. Bailey smiled, purring too. Lucy is just out cold.

Being the evil person I am, I bellyflopped onto her, creating a small hiss from Diamond. She tried to retaliate, but it ended up with her slapping my butt.

"Hey!" I shrieked.

"Don't wake me up like that Kaleidoscope,"

"Ok Diamond, I'll remember-"

"Uh..." she slipped from under me and came up to my face. "Since when did you first call me Diamond?"

"Dunno, don't care," I huffed.

Lucy turned to the pile of cuteness behind her. Out of nowhere Bailey sneezed, making her jump and hit herself against the burrow ceiling. Me along with Peter and Bailey laughed at her, but only for a short time.

She peeled herself off the ceiling, and landed on top of me!

"Now I got you!"

"We'll see about that," I snickered, rearing myself up and flailing violently.

Lucy got flung off my back and crashed into the two love bugs. Bailey was there in time to move Peter out of the way, luckily.

We sat in a circle, tired from our earlier roughhousing. Bailey began to say something,

"So... about the Kymari thing?"

"Act like cats. That's all you need to hear from me," I said, staring into Lucy's eyes.

"That actually sounds reasonable, or even better, you can take a trip to that city," she responded dryly.

"Um... maybe during the next foggy day?"

"To hide yourself?"

"Y-yeah,"

"Ok then, it's settled,"

Now to wait for a foggy day...
