One day...

I wonder what things we will do today. Will we go out again to the dragonet park or... something new. Either way, it's probably with the gang again, or we wouldn't be with the four other Kymari.

Sitting on Liki's pad, I eased into spread form, only to suddenly shift back when Peter's voice yelled into my head. "They're here! They've hatched! Please say you're coming over!"

A wave of excitement surged throughout my body, a big smile coming onto my face. "I'd wish we were! If only someone heard this then we could-"

"Can we go to the park where Peachy came from? Just because it's its home?" Hidal asked the Kymari parents.

Cleo nodded. "Certainly. It's been awhile since it has been to its home park, and I know a good place to spend our free time while Solis and Peachy explore."

I trilled, literally sparking with excitement. "Yes! We're coming over! I missed you guys! Ooo, quick question: have you named them yet?"

"Lucy named one Ellyn, and Bailey named another S'more. We're waiting for a name for this cutie."

He sent me an image of three, curled up kits next to Peter's arms, no bigger than his finger. One of them, which I assumed to be Ellyn, had their entire face bare while a beautiful fuchsia colored the rest of their body. I couldn't see any details other than what looked like a white spade on their back.

S'more was right beside Ellyn, and fit their name well. All of them is a nice, toasty brown. The last kit looked like a pale lavender, with their right ear and freckles being scarlet.

I glanced at Heather, who sat contently with the breeze and sunlight. A name from a Kirby game...

"I have a name for the child."

"Let's hear it!"

"Wispy, like Wispy Woods."

"I like it! I really do! Let's welcome Ellyn, S'more and Wispy to the family!"

"YEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!" Lucy imitated some random scream from a meme.

What meme, I do not want to know. It really didn't matter much right now because we're going to Florence's garden!

Seika mused, combining mind and speech. "Lets hope they let me in, otherwise I'll get Vietnam flashbacks."

"I don't even know which Vietnam tragedy you're talking about, but considering that this is your first time talking to my friends, you'll probably get a flashback of some kind."

"They must have heard us talking." Indi murmured, making me and Seika freeze. "Otherwise, they would not be chattering away right now."

"Yeah..." Hidal sighed quietly.

Me and Seika exchanged nervous glances, putting on the animal act so the Kymari wouldn't continue to suspect us. I'm already sure that Hidal might have heard me talking to Peter.

After a few minutes the park came into view. I could already see of the entrance holes under a tree. The Kymari gang stopped at a nearby bench.

Liki and Cleo held out their wrists where me and Seika are, saying. "Go on, have some fun."

With a blip, I jumped towards the hole. "Follow me Seika!"

"Ok!" They trilled, right on my tail.

The cleared out subterranean land greeted me once more. It's been a month since I've been here. Seika nudged me gently. Oops... forgot
they can't see in the dark like I can.

Lighting up, I shifted into flying form and headed towards the main clearing where most of the slime cats dug their burrows. "Peter! We're here in the darkened land! Can you have Lucy or someone-"

"Katy!" Bailey cried, tackling me out of the sky. "Who's the dragon following you?"

"It's Seika from your ex high school, to be exact!" My friend answered, probably nervous.

Bailey looked at them confused, but then snapped into realization and tackled them instead. "So THATS where you were! You got turned into a mini dragon! How though?"

"Said simply, some scientists found alien tech and used it on humans to make dragons. The alien invasion set us free from the lab and now we live in the main park." Seika explained, hovering in one place.

The valentine friend smiled. "Well, it's a good thing you're out of there for good! Come see our kids, Ellyn S'more and Wispy!"

He dragged us towards a burrow decorated in flower petals, showing that a new addition to the family is in there. Lucy stuck her snowy blue head out, waving for us to come here.

We landed, going inside. Peter and Bailey's burrow is slightly bigger than mine, because there's two living in it. The three kits will probably make it a little bigger than it is. Moss lined the floor, and in a dug-out corner some fruit was stored for safe keeping.

Peter was in the center, with his kits in the same positions as when he sent me the picture. They haven't changed their shape yet, and stay in a long, snaky form.

He looked up to us, small bits of sparks coming from his tired eyes. "Hello Katy, and Seika. I'm glad we get to see each other again."

"And tomorrow too!" I reminded him, smiling even bigger.

Seika went over to the side and laid down, keeping her head a small distance from the kits. "I must say, your babies look adorable! How long until they can fly?"

"Hmm..." he said in deep thought. "They should be able to change their form after a week, but still not an 'expert' at flying until a month passes. If you want, you can teach them how to fly fast and complicated maneuvers."

S'more made a soft mew, blinking open their eyes. Ellyn and Wispy followed swiftly, also mewing. Bailey chuckled, grabbing a strawberry and splitting it into thirds. He placed each third in front of the kits.

Their pupils got bigger, and they went for the fruit, trying to suck out its juice. I looked at Bailey. "You know, we could go and get back-stock for you, if you don't mind."

"We wouldn't mind." He sighed. "From the other parents' knowledge, kits can eat more then their worth, and stocking up on food is a good idea, especially for tomorrow's storm."

"We'll try our best with the Kymari. They tend to know when we sneak stuff out, but with the fruit trees growing both in my park and this one, it should go well before the storm hits." Seika said, wanting to take on the challenge.

"Then it's settled!" Lucy meowed. "I'll help too, because double dad duty is on Bailey and Peter."

We spent an hour at the park, searching for fruit and other things to stock up on. Luckily, a few apple trees grew near the place surprise pyrikan showed up, and a raspberry bush was near the bench. Bailey's words were right, because when we got back, two more strawberries vanished from the storage nook.
