Three months passed.

THREE MONTHS PASSED.

...And half a week

I've been with Liki for three months now.

Why am I exaggerating?

Well, you see...

IT'S GOING TO BE HECKIN STORMY IN THREE DAYS!

Me and the other slime cats can't wait. Mostly me. Why me and not them? I don't know, and more frankly don't care.

They're thinking of flying all over the city and parks while singing paper planes by MIA. It's one of my personal favorites, which is nice.

Another nice thing is that Seika's tail is fully healed! The group was overestimating when it came to Seika. I suggested that they don't be a maniac and speed up their healing time.

It ended up being successful!

Currently, me and Liki were walking to Cleo's apartment with Indi, before sunrise. They planned on having us meet for the "first" time. Heather was also excited. His emotions were practically leaking from his feathers.

We came up to the complex, entering the building. It looked mostly like Liki's, but a little more... forested, if you wanted to call it that. Vines hung from the ceiling, and grew over the walls.

Coming into the elevator, Liki spoke in his wrist com. "We'll be there shortly."

"Ok! Okapi is very excited for Peachy to come over."

"Nice." He said, moving the numbers around until an arrow pointed upwards.

We came to one of the doors, and Indi rang the doorbell. The door opened to reveal Cleo in a short blue skirt with a wave pattern across it, and a loose shirt that had the same color on it. Okapi and Hidal came running over to us.

I spotted Seika's silver scales flying towards me at an alarming rate. Luckily my reflexes helped me dodge their assault. Heather squawked when they started coming towards him instead.

He also dodged the dragonet friend, looking puzzled yet dignified. Seika's voice entered my head. "Are you happy to see me??? Who's this grave bird thingy- I mean, gravely?"

"What's a gravely? And yeah I'm very happy to see you!" I responded back, meowing in delight. "Is that what Heather's called? Note that Heather is the gravestone bird."

"It's the name of an enemy from Kirby's mass attack! Heather resembles it, if it weren't for the singular giant eye he has."

"Ah. How's the tail holding up?"

Seika whirled around the room while warbling something. "It's good as new! I can't wait to go visit my homies!"

"Do they already know each other?" Indi asked, confused.

Seika stopped mid-flight, floating down to Cleo's new shoulder pads. "Uh oh... I completely forgot about the thing!"

"Me too..." I groaned, letting out a gusty sigh.

"It seems so." Cleo mumbled.

Liki, however, smiled. "If they do know each other, they probably won't mind going together!"

Me and Seika exchanged glances. Indi also smiled. "Yeah! I thought Solis would be hissy at Peachy, but it's like they've been good friends for years."

If only that were true. Seika let out a sneeze. "Peachy? Seriously? And I thought my name was funny."

"I don't even know what Solis means, and it's certainly better than my name."

"Oh! Solis, to the Kymari/spaghettis, means dead sun."

I let my own laughter travel down the link. Seika, in retaliation, also laughed. We kept laughing. It was SO funny. So funny all my sentences have to end with periods.

It was a good thing that we laughed in a link instead of in front of all these Kymari. Hidal asked. "Can we go to the park now? I want to watch the ply-ball game played by the teenagers!"

"Certainly." Cleo chuckled, grabbing a bag full of stuff.

She pulled out a harness, and carefully put it on Seika. Liki commented. "Was Solis as excited as Peachy when you put the harness on her?"

"Nope. Not a fan. At all. But after a few days, she grew used to it."

Liki nodded. Indi pulled out a container full of something that made Heather squirm. "I brought snakes- er... snacks if any of these three are hungry."

"And I brought our own snacks, because I bet that in there is some assortments of creepy crawlies and fruits." Cleo sighed, putting on Seika's leash.

Indi put the container of... snakes... into the bag with the other stuff. Lets hope those are not snakes. I am deeply terrified, and have a phobia for those!

Anyways, Cleo grabbed her bag, and Okapi skittered next to her with Hidal. Liki turned around and stood out in the hallway with Indi. Cleo came out too, and the door closed itself.

"This is it! My park! The main park where all the dragonets live!" Seika mused, grinning.

I shifted into flying form, but stayed put. "I've been waiting for this ever since I showed you my house! Is it as big as our park?"

"Bigger, actually. This is the main park of awesomeness! Everyday we go around to pick a spot for our morning song, and it'll be nice to sing with the fam again."

"Yeah... and you'll see us sing in three days when the storm rolls in!"

We came onto a path leading somewhere. Little slivers of red and gold were in the trees. Liki and Cleo nodded, saying. "Go on."

Me and Seika sprang into the air, flying around one another. The red and gold came out, revealing to be other dragonets! Other colors of them came out too, flying around my buddy.

One of them, which was bronze, mused. "Oh my stars! I'm glad you've come back to sing with us! Who's the slime cat?"

Seika turned their head to me, not including the others in her link. "Oh, her? She's named Peachy, but really, Katy. We're friends from our high school!"

"What's your name?" I asked the bronze dragonet.

He gasped dramatically. "You don't know muon? I'm Hera! And sorry for forgetting about her, Seika."

Oh right, Seika probably told him about us. Hera turned to the other whirling dragonets, probably talking to them privately. They stopped in their tracks, staring at me. Judging from that, he's telling them about me and the slime cats.

The red dragonet, who, assumingely is possibly Chinese, tilted her head. "Well, nice to meet you, Katy. Come to see us and the Morning Song?"

"Yeah! I've never seen it before!" I chirped.

The other dragonets began asking me questions, like, "where did you come from?" "were you once a human?" "How did you become what you are?" And, "are there more of you somewhere?"

I answered all their questions the best I could, and quickly. Some of them were very anxious to be around the Kymari. Speaking of the spaghettis, they were still walking along the path, following us as we talked.

After a few minutes, we arrived in a creek area. To my surprise, all of the dragonets were there! Some of them noticed me, but not all. Most were watching the little sliver of light peak over the horizon.

I came down and watched with them with the spaghettis close by. Hidal and Okapi were very excited, if not as excited as I was.

Seika sent me an unexplainable feeling, much like the feeling I get during the Rain Dance. They were very impatient, and tried to guess when the sun would make them fly up.

Eventually, like the Spongebob timecard, some of the dragonets shot up into the sky, singing melodious. Shortly after that everyone else shot up, joining together in a singing ball of colors.

I felt the need to sing with them, and joined their symphony. I twisted and twirled, hummed and chattered. The dragonet's Morning Song reminded me of the Rain Dance once again.

It was as if we were the same creature when we first started, which we were, but came out different. The dragonets and the slime cats.

Heather sang with us, fluttering in his own spot. Maybe he was nervous of crashing into us, or making them anxious. Either way, he was contributing to the whole.

The song felt too quick, though, as all the dragonets had stopped their dancing and singing. They parted ways, into the many sections of the main park.

The only ones that stayed with us were Seika, Hera, and this little gold fledgling. She was cute. Dangerously cute. Did Hera and Seika...

"Hera? Seika? Did you two have a kid?" I asked the dragonets.

Seika hissed, but not in the link, which startled me. "No Kaleidoscope! She's just a friend... wait- what IS your name?"

The golden child shook herself, and a small tinkling sound came from her scales. She sighed sadly. "I don't have one. My parents... they... they got lost and never came back..."

"How... long... was this ago..?"

"Two months ago... they kept arguing over a name for me... so they went on a flight to try and calm down..."

Silence was all around us. I came up to the nameless child and draped my wing over her. "You poor thing... did any of the names they had said sound good..?"

"Abigail... I think... was said a lot, but it was used as a way of guilting one another... as for the other names, none of them sounded right..."

"Hmm..." I looked at Hera and Seika. "You two got any suggestions?-"

"Mary." They both said in unison.

"Are you sure-"

"MARY."

I looked at the golden child. "Do you like the name Mary?"

She grinned. "Yeah! It's a fair name."

We looked at the spaghettis, who were scanning the area. Hidal squeaked. "Can we put our stuff at the ply-ball field??? Please???"

"I don't see why not. Solis, shoulder." Cleo called to Seika.

Liki called to me. "Peachy, shoulder."

We both flew towards our handlers, and went down the path some more. It's strange... despite me and Seika being with them for only a month and half a week... it felt like they were part of our family.

I wonder why anyone would want to play a game early in the morning... especially make stuff at this time of day too...
