The meeting didn't last very long, which is good, as it is sundown! We agreed on calling this new form... attack form... and that we only use it when combating things. Also that includes our electricity blasts; they can only be used when in that form, or it would confuse the Kymari.

I shifted into flying form, and excitedly exited our crumbled chasm in the roof. Meeting the beautiful swirling colors of the aether I pivoted to the Kymari city. Not many were out at this time, probably at restaurants or home.

Passing above the various complexes, I noticed something I hadn't before. Kymari don't live as densely as humans, which is a relief. Instead they spread out their buildings, and have roomy apartments. I spotted a single dwelling close to this giant wall. Whatever is beyond there must not play nice.

I dove down to the designated planter, seeing a small dot of silver. They didn't seem to notice my presence at all, which could do for some surprising screeches. Seika won't suspect a thing!

To be more surprising, I did a 180 around an apartment and snuck behind them. For some reason they look bigger. Maybe sudden growth spurt?

Preparing to latch onto them, the anger smell returned in a hassle. What the hell?! There's more of them somewhere?! I instantly shifted into attack form, starring directly at Seika... or is that Seika?

The unavoidable urge to attack forced me to fire a wave of bullets at them. Instantly they caught fire, and didn't move. My rage subsided slowly, but was still powerful enough to keep me in this form and alert. Whatever was impersonating my friend wasn't a dragonet, but maybe something similar to a Pyrikan.

In fact, getting a better look at it, this thing looked more like a silver chrysalis. But I couldn't look too long because next thing I knew more bullets added to its fire.

Looking around, it seemed like nobody noticed that this was even here. Even the Kymari that live in this settlement didn't notice a thing. Are we the only things that can see them?!

I landed on the other side of the planter. Now I'm worried. Something did happen to Seika, and I don't want to know what. Though I do want to know what this Morning Song is, and avenge my friend to whatever happened to them. Hypocrisy, I know. Someone in our group of four is good at it.

The flames began to decrease rapidly, leaving the chrysalis a pile of ash and a smokey stench around. I changed back into flying form, and darted around the building.

"Seika! Where are you?" I called, flapping my wings as the night went on.

I have only flown around 1/4 of the city, and no luck to when I'll find them. Whenever I think I see them, it's just another hallucination. It's torture.

"Seika? Is that you again or is this another fake?" I shouted to a sliver of silver floating among the night breeze.

Coming nearer, it looked more and more like them. Once I was close enough, I realized it was just a kite that got lost. It looks freakishly similar to the dragonets, except for the soulless eyes.

I did a summersault around the kite, examining it carefully. It was well done in the paints, and details. However there was no string attached to it, hinting it might be a hovering kite thingy. Sure wish I could fly one of those...

Turning away I went back to the planter whom the ashes remained- never mind. The Kymari that lived here must have noticed and cleaned it up.

Or... I'm lost...

No. I can't be lost, can I? It's not a long journey to get from here to our home, but I've been out here since sundown. I landed on the side I would have been on if Seika were here, but it doesn't feel right. Half of it's leafs are missing already, mainly on my side.

This is starting to get strange. The buildings are lighting up with rainbow colors as if it were day, but it's night. What is going on right now?!? Everything is wobbling around like a merry-go-round!

Ugh... what happened? And why can't I see well..? I'm hearing voices all around me but nothing to see on what...

I'll just go back to sleep... it seems... reasonable...
