10. When Bad Jokes are Made

I think I've done it myself a few times... I think...
But if your trying to be funny at least try, after all the Yogs are genuinely funny so if you need some humour sit in front of some Yog Vids and get some inspiration.

9. Abusive Parents or Uncles

To be honest this instantly turns me off a Yog-Fic.
If I'm reading the description and it says;

"... Has been beaten by his/her Uncle ever since his/her parents died a horrific death"
"My name is .... and I'm abused by my mother and with my father dead I have been bullied most of my life"

Pain, Gore, Mentally unstable, constant breakdowns.
I'm sorry but I just switch off. There are so many of these fic and it drives me crazy.
Is there something wrong with a happy Yog-Fic??

(I'm not belittling child Abuse, it's a horrible thing and thats why I prefer not to read it. It is depressing and shouldn't be taken lightly, personally I would just feel wrong writing it)

8. Excessive Uses of Capital Letters

This is something that just shouldn't happen.... My rule is never use Capitals unless they are needed, for example for top of voice shouting.

7. Sudden Relationships with Yogs

"Oh we met a week ago and now we're in love"
"Oh we have been going out a month and we are getting married and having a baby

No, No, No!
This doesn't happen IRL so why should it happen in Fan fictions?
Want to make your fic as realistic as possible then keep to realistic time scales. This is why I did the year time skip in 'Family Worth' it make it more realistic for Leigh and Ross to move into together.

6. Grammer

Oh god.... Now everyone has the odd Grammar Error and the Grammar Nazis out there will more than likely pounce at the opportunity to correct you, but when fic is missing the basics such as Capital Letters, Full stops and Quotation Marks then there is something wrong.
Read through your fic and correct grammar errors before publishing, to many errors can turn people off.

Huge walls of text are awful to read, split them up into paragraphs.
