If I were in charge of the world,

I'd cancel Mondays, homework, shots, 

and even spiders.

If I were in charge of the world,

There would be more Friday's, less war, 

more happiness, and even less heartbreak.

If I were in charge of the world,

You wouldn't have sickness,

You wouldn't have criminals,

You wouldn't have bed times,

Or the "we need to talk" conversations

You wouldn't even have bad days.

If I were in charge of the world,

There would be more time to do what you want,

rather than spending all of your time at school, 

and adults wouldn't tell you you can't do something

because it's too hard..

And a person who over eats,

And sometimes doesn't sleep,

Would still be allowed to be,

In charge of the world.

I've never been one who loves to write poems, so forgive me. But we had to write some for English, and I'm kind of proud of this one.
