I don't know if any of you are familiar with him, but he's a bestseller author and co-author of over 100 books, including one of my favorites —the Gone series. 

Anyway, a while back, he followed me on Twitter, and over the past few months, we've had several conversations, and he even retweeted several of my tweets.

So since he follows me, I can send him private messages. Which, for the first time, I did.

Yesterday, I asked him if he'd be willing to read my upcoming book Deception and possibly write a one-line quote to put on the front cover. 

And he graciously agreed to give the book a read. 

Now whether or not it will turn into anything, I do not know. My guess is it won't. 

But still, there's a chance I'll have an NYT bestselling author's endorsement on my novel come release day. 

So... let's hope he doesn't feel the need to bleach his eyes after reading it.
