The PWC received feedback from the original survey released by the Pokémon Watty Awards. We decided on a couple of things.

We will be having 3 categories: 2 full-length book categories with different themes and 1 one shot category with an original theme. This is just to start out. To find out more information, check the About Book the PWC will post shortly.

For this year, we will be experimenting with incomplete full-length entries. While people love to have another chance to win something, the whole point of the PWC is to promote creativity in PWA entries. Because of this, we will be making our deadline late August and posting the themes alongside the PWA when they open entries.

So, the PWC needs judges as soon as possible because the PWA plans to open entries in January or February. Categorical judging will be used. If you're judging in any other awards account, you can double if if you have time. The judging application will be put as an in-line comment right here.

As for those who plan to compete, suggest themes in the comments! Your themes might inspire us when the time comes to pick or it might even be chosen.
