Kevin.

With a huff put Adam the small bag that contained most of his belongings on the bottom bunk next to the pillow. It was funny, how almost nothing was in it, but then again he wasn't here because it's a nice place for a vacation. He didn't need anything in these grey walls, but I knew I needed him.

Maybe it was sick, maybe I was sick and obsessed with this man, but honestly, I just liked to think I was stupidly in love.

Sometimes it was easy to forget certain facts. For example, that these grey walls were meant to punish me for another man's crimes or that Adam and I probably could never lead a normal life together even after getting out of here. But I felt so bad for forcing Adam to move in with me. Well, I hoped he didn't mind, but I guessed I should've asked him first since it meant taking our relationship a step further. Although I wondered, was he ready for that?

A small smile played along Adam's lips as he fell onto the bed far away from his tiny bag and even though he was still confused he seemed happy. His jumpsuit was half-open and hung loosely on his body, revealing his smooth chest. It slid down his arm as he held it out for me, but instead of helping him up I took his hand in mine before I straddled his hips and gave him a long, passionate kiss.

"Hello, roomy," I laughed and let myself fall down next Adam, just so I could cuddle closer to his side.

"Hey there," he replied and turned his head to look at me. His blue eyes glowed with, what I hoped was, excitement as he leaned in to kiss my forehead. "This feels so unreal. I mean I wanted to be with you, but I never imagined we could actually share a 'bedroom' in here."

My hand came up to caress his cheek after I smoothed his hair back out of his perfect face. Next thing on my list of things I had to do was to make sure we would at one point share a bedroom outside of these grey walls.

"Happy moving in with me," A soft chuckle left my mouth as overly happy and a few sick butterflies wrecked havoc in my stomach, but everything seemed so much better when I could get lost in his beautiful eyes and touch his soft skin.

"Yay," came his whispered exclamation before he pressed his forehead against mine and stole a quick kiss from me. "Thank you."

"What for?" Had I missed something?

"Don't know, Mitch, you, this... take your pick," he trailed off and gave me a small smile as if he wasn't too sure of himself, but his eyes shone so bright and it was one of the cutest things I had ever seen him do.

"You're disgustingly cute and cheesy," I laughed and drew his body closer to mine before I pressed our lips together again.

"Fuck off, you love it."

Before I could reply, did someone knock on the door. Light at first as if whoever that was wouldn't want to disturb us, but then louder making sure we would actually hear him and when neither Adam nor I answered quiet banter could be heard outside until a very annoyed Tim opened the door.

Tim mostly ignored us and went to the sink to get his toothbrush. He checked his appearance in the dirty mirror, fixed his hair and then slowly, almost dramatically turned around to face us.

"You're hereby informed that Doctor Cecil Baxter would like to see you, Kevin," he said in a mock posh accent and looked over to the still open door of my cell where a very timid looking Baxter stood. Well, he stood, but his shoulders made an attempt to touch his toes and he himself did his best not to look directly at Adam and me. I mean, I appreciated it, Adam and I had shared an intimate moment and that was something, not everybody needed to see.

With a long groan, I clenched my fists in Adam's jumpsuit and hid my face in the crook of his neck. Maybe if I couldn't see them anymore, maybe if I pretended they weren't here, then these intruders would actually leave again. Well, that didn't exactly work with Summers, but I could try with Baxter, couldn't I?

I felt Adam's chest shaking with laughter as he gently pried my fingers off his clothing and sat us up. He tilted my head upwards and I could see fine lines along his eyes as he chuckled again, he then said something I didn't hear. I was too focused on Adam to notice Tim leaving the cell again, but when Adam let go of my chin without giving me a kiss I looked over to Baxter, who by then had turned around to grant us some privacy.

Another sigh left my throat as I stood up and went to the shrink without giving Adam any form of physical goodbye because he for some reason didn't like that. At first, I thought he didn't want to show affection in public in general since a lot of people already thought he was easy to get, but he never explained it to me and I never really asked.

Hesitantly, I patted Baxter on the back, but the shorter man literally jumped up and away from me before he turned around. He stared at me with wide eyes and his disheveled black hair made him look like a caged animal. His glance wandered from me to Adam and back to me before his face settled on a small, unsure smile and he led the way outside.

A little slower, I followed him out of the cell and beckoned to Adam one last time, before Baxter and I made our way to his office.

Through the thick glass of his office door, I could already see the shadow of a tall man with broad shoulders and knew this wasn't a therapy session.

"Why didn't Summers get me like usually?" I asked the shrink shortly before we entered his office and he suddenly stopped with his hand on the doorknob.

"I think Iwan took a day off because it's his girlfriend's birthday," Dr. Baxter looked confused, probably didn't understand why I cared at all and truth to be told, I was just curious.

"Why does that asshole have a girlfriend?" I exclaimed, but Baxter just acted like he hadn't heard me and instead opened the door to greet the Mr. Paul with the fluffy hair. Maybe he just didn't want to lecture me not to speak like that about people or maybe Dr. Baxter knew that Summers was an ass and just liked to pretend he didn't know because Summers was one of his very few friends. What, again, confused me, because Summers was an ass.

Much slower, but just as confused as before and very cautious, did I follow Dr. Baxter into the room and was greeted by the bright smile of the one guy that claimed to be able to get me out of this place.
