I'm only a page and a half into this essay for English and I want to scream.
First off: I hate writing all over paper. Highlighting I can handle, though it's irking. But it drives me nuts to annotate stuff, which is what I'm supposed to be doing for two long essays.
The second thing is my teacher is picking things that try to force her political views upon us students. I don't care about your beliefs, but you're a teacher. You can't force them on your students. I'll lose it completely if she gives us something pro-choice related. I'm sorry, but if you try and make me believe murdering innocent children is ok, I'll be tempted to withdraw from that class. I'd leave AP English just for the sake of not having that to deal with.
Third, I get the sense she's one of those people who thinks only white people can be rascist. News flash honey: I'm white and have had incredibly rascist things said abt me. And let's not forget you were the one who said schools are still segregated and implied all black people are poor and live in the south while all white people were rich and lived in the north. Three things wrong with that statement there. 1- you said that as we had black, white, Mexican, and Asian people in that room. In no way does that seem even remotely whites exclusive to me. 2- anybody can live wherever they want. All races live many different places. 3- I know some rich black families, and some poor white families. *cough* mine *cough* my family can prove that not all white people are dripping in money. I promise you. Sometimes, my mom can't even give me a couple of dollars for school things. That's rich????
People like these upset me so much. My parents want to talk to her, but I've asked them not to bc I'm scared of what she might start treating me like....
